I Am Extraordinary Alone
Chapter 478 - 476: Crushing Defeat

Chapter 478: Chapter 476: Crushing Defeat

Stars trapped La and disguised his corpse as the moon?

But that’s not right...

Pondering left and right, Wei Tianyang realized that if La was the moon, it meant that Earth, before La, had no satellite!

Without the moon, there would be no tides on Earth, and what kind of impact would the lack of tides have? Wei Tianyang didn’t quite understand, but subconsciously, he felt something was amiss.

"Perhaps he’s deceiving you," Baphomet transmitted.

Heavenly Falling Objects don’t lie, but La, like himself, had once been a mortal.

He asked, "Those stars, how much do you know about them?"

Baphomet shook its goat horns, turned, and walked toward the refrigerator, transmitting, "I’m not omniscient, if you’re confident, you can go challenge them, but I advise you to think it through first."

It used its horns to crack open the refrigerator door, but Wei Tianyang stepped forward and closed it again.

He smiled, "You seem not to need to breathe."

"What do you mean?" Baphomet asked.

"When I rested my head on you, I didn’t hear your heartbeat, nor did I feel you breathing," Wei Tianyang said.

Baphomet, though it looked like a black billy goat, had long outlived a normal goat’s lifespan, it was immortal, unless killed.

"You want to..." Baphomet was shocked.

...

Outside the atmosphere.

Above Heisai State, 70,000 meters.

Wei Tianyang clutched Baphomet under his arm, and the moon was right before their eyes—as silvery gray and pockmarked as it appeared in subjective reality, with nothing surrounding it.

Baphomet’s tongue stuck out, its facial fur blown into a mess by the wind of their high-speed flight, with some of its body fur starting to ice over.

Although Wei Tianyang had provided some protection for it, clearly, his care for this goat was not as thorough and meticulous as for the children.

"Motherf*cker... There’s no point in bringing me up here! Just by looking once, I can’t possibly know what I don’t already know!" Baphomet raged.

"You’ve learned to curse," Wei Tianyang said.

"Human language is profound, yet swear words are surprisingly consistent and transferable. They’re nothing but combinations of reproductive organs, familial terms, and one or two copulation verbs, but that’s not the point!! Why did you bring me up here!! I’m just a goat!!"

Baphomet transmitted furiously while kicking its hooves about. It had flown before, so it wasn’t afraid of heights.

"You fell from the sky, those stars might not be able to disturb you, you could be of some use," Wei Tianyang said.

"Right now I’m just a goat! For them to kill me would be a piece of cake!" Baphomet said.

"Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered," Wei Tianyang said.

He inscribed a mark on Baphomet, transferring any damage it sustained onto himself, just as he had done for Yaha and Zhao Ling.

He intended to shatter those stars and liberate La’s corpse. Since all the stars in the sky were the enemy of humans, he most certainly needed La’s knowledge.

Wei Tianyang transformed into a black giant, with Baphomet shrinking to fit snugly in his palm, his hand broad as a football field to the goat.

He shifted into objective reality, where the moon instantly morphed into a curled-up humanoid form, with a brilliant river of stars twining around it.

"It’s a multitude of the associated clans!" Baphomet transmitted upon seeing the stars.

Wei Tianyang closed his left fist, cocooning Baphomet inside, then in an instant his massive figure activated, reaching speeds over Mach 30. Such a colossal body flying at that speed was truly terrifying.

He could control the earth, water, air, and lightning on Earth, but in outer space, other than various types of radiation and sunlight, there was nothing.

All he could rely on was his own strength and the searing beams of light ejecting from his four pupils.

He aimed at the coiling river of stars, with four thick red beams shooting out from his eyes, and with just one sweep, he severed the gleaming stream.

The stars instantly switched from twinkling to red, like a snapped centipede, the severed ends turning black and releasing wisps of golden light.

Cha Na, in a flash, those stars left La’s corpse and flew towards him.

Out of caution, Wei Tianyang turned his head and flew into the deep space opposite Earth, wanting to see what else they could do.

The stars were extremely fast, even matching Wei Tianyang’s speed. He flew to his limit, Earth gradually shrinking to a blue dot the size of an eyeball, but the red stars still closely followed him.

Wei Tianyang slowed down, suddenly came to a halt, and the stars passed him but quickly stopped in front of him.

However, the stars didn’t attack. Instead, they slowly dispersed, surrounding him and maintaining a distance of over ten kilometers.

Wei Tianyang tried to communicate with them using telepathy, but no matter how he transmitted signals, the stars gave no response.

"Danger! These things are dead objects! They’re the kind that lacks a self!" Baphomet suddenly said.

Wei Tianyang instantly understood; this meant they were being controlled by something.

He fired beams of scorching light towards the swarm of stars, four red beams sweeping across and instantly wiping out half of the swarm.

Wei Tianyang turned around to capture the stars behind him when he suddenly had a bad feeling.

The next second, his limbs detached from his body!

"Long-horned one!" Baphomet exclaimed.

Wei Tianyang, now left with only his torso and head drifting in the vacuum of space, realized that the thing controlling the stars had appeared, but he was not panicked; such injuries were meaningless to him.

His limbs grew back instantly, and with a flash, he grabbed his severed left arm, Baphomet’s head poking out of the empty fist.

The next second, his limbs mysteriously detached again.

Wei Tianyang still had control over his body, he looked around, his four pupils looking in four directions, but still couldn’t find the attacker.

At that moment, his body was suddenly controlled by an invisible force, the severed surfaces of his limbs enveloped by black orbs, no matter how many limbs he regenerated, they seemed to be consumed by these orbs.

"I can’t see it... can’t see it at all," Wei Tianyang said.

"You’ve flown too far!" Baphomet urged anxiously.

Just then, space in front of Wei Tianyang rippled like water stirred by a breeze.

A gray something emerged from the void; a circle? No, a gray finger, slowly reaching out, bringing the rest of its part with it.

Not one finger, but a gray hand!

The hand was larger than Wei Tianyang’s entire body, big enough to grasp him whole, one finger could cover his entire torso!

The hand reached out from another dimension, reaching to grab him.

Wei Tianyang, furious, his four pupils turned red, and four robust beams shot out, instantly severing the little finger and ring finger of the hand.

The hand trembled as if in pain, and then, the index finger quickly flicked Wei Tianyang’s head.

Wei Tianyang was stunned; the force of the strike was greater than he expected, almost snapping his head off his body, his neck broke, a piece of his spine pulling out, his head hanging limply over his shoulder.

Then the hand extended an index finger, slowly pressing towards his abdomen, Wei Tianyang could even see the fingerprints on the finger.

The fingerprints weren’t circular but countless distorted lines intertwined, incomprehensible and utterly chaotic.

He felt his body burning through, a section of thick black intestines floated out, with bits and pieces of his organs dispersing into the vacuum of space.

Baphomet struggled from the gap in the severed arm, and transmitted a message to Wei Tianyang, but received no response.

In desperation, it planted its hooves on the tiger’s mouth of the severed hand, arched its body, and with a powerful kick, flew towards Wei Tianyang.

In mid-air, it kept sliding its hooves, opening its mouth to bleat, but the sound was trapped in its throat.

Baphomet watched the finger pierce through Wei Tianyang’s body, withdraw, and then press down on his chest, punching a second hole.

"Ah! Damn it! The long-horned one might die!" Baphomet was frantic.

It drifted towards Wei Tianyang’s severed leg, quickly landing on its hooves on the kneecap, bent and leaped with force, darting from below up towards Wei Tianyang.

This time the distance was just enough, its horns supporting Wei Tianyang’s back, then with a bright flash in its eyes, it took him back to subjective reality.
