I Am Extraordinary Alone -
Chapter 456 - 454: Defeat Me
Chapter 456: Chapter 454: Defeat Me
Helena Mina had left, and another month had passed.
The world was ravaged by unending wars, and Wei Tianyang could hear the prayers of many every day.
He leaned against the window, sipping coffee, distinguishing the voices in his mind.
At that moment, Rada Gan knocked and entered, passing by Baphomet, who was carrying Yaha.
"Wei," he said.
Wei Tianyang put down his coffee cup and looked at him, already aware of his purpose.
"Is Yishenmali still so... untamable?" Wei Tianyang asked with a smile.
"He’s always trying to escape. Last week, he even sneaked into the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and threatened our cooks," Rada Gan said with a laugh.
"I want to hear your thoughts on him," Wei Tianyang said.
"Sometimes, I really want to turn him into gold and sell him to those pedophiles," Rada Gan said.
"You don’t even disguise it," Wei Tianyang said.
"There’s nothing to hide in front of you. You know everything," Rada Gan laughed.
"How is his Spanish coming along?" Wei Tianyang asked again.
"The most fluent sentence he knows is ’fuck you’. He doesn’t want to stay here; he wants revenge," Rada Gan said.
"I need to make him lose hope," Wei Tianyang said.
"What qualities does he possess that attract you so much that you’re willing to spend time taming him?" Rada Gan wondered.
"One possibility..." Wei Tianyang said.
"Is it a possibility you never attempted before?" Rada Gan asked.
"He’s a lot like me, Rada Gan, but he didn’t become one of the Medicine People. If we send him back, he’ll either be tortured meaninglessly to death or tread the path of pursuing power, repeating the mistakes Yaha and I made," Wei Tianyang said.
"I understand," Rada Gan said.
"Bring him here," Wei Tianyang said.
"What are you planning to do?" Rada Gan asked.
"I want him to calm down, to stay here even if he hates me," Wei Tianyang said.
Rada Gan nodded and pulled out his phone to call Quigui Ge.
Soon, Quigui Ge dragged Cha Na by the arm into Wei Tianyang’s room.
Cha Na was dressed in clean clothes, but his youthful face was filled with anger, still lacking any sense of belonging to this hotel after more than a month.
Quigui Ge threw Cha Na into the room, exchanged a glance with Rada Gan, nodded, and then left.
Rada Gan blocked the doorway, hands folded over his stomach, quietly watching.
"Yishenmali, you haven’t changed your mind," Wei Tianyang said, looking at Cha Na.
"My name is Cha Na!" Cha Na shouted angrily.
"The name ’Cha Na’ isn’t very good; it’s too transient... Whether describing a beautiful time or life... it’s just too cruel," Wei Tianyang said.
"That’s the name my parents gave me! Who gave you your name?" Cha Na demanded.
Wei Tianyang’s expression darkened, but he didn’t get angry, as a name given by one’s parents is significant.
"Cha Na," he slowly said.
"I want to leave, now," Cha Na said.
"Leave this hotel, and your fate will be like duckweed in the water, scattered by the slightest evil wind in this world," Wei Tianyang said.
"That’s my business... You don’t need to interfere!" Cha Na replied.
"Cha Na, you must understand one thing," Wei Tianyang’s eyes turned red as he continued, "you already died."
"I’m still alive! Unless you want to kill me now..." Cha Na’s voice faded a bit.
"Without my intervention, you would have died on that iron rack, reduced to a petite skeleton. The reason you can now wear clean clothes, maintain a healthy body, and shout at me is all because of me; you called out to me, and I responded to you. This wasn’t free; it was a transaction to rescue you from certain death," Wei Tianyang explained.
Cha Na was momentarily speechless; indeed, without Wei Tianyang, he would have been tortured to death by those people.
"So, now you are my property. You must stay," Wei Tianyang declared.
"What if I refuse... would you kill me?!" Cha Na stood his ground.
"I’ll give you a challenge... If you can defeat me, proving you have the ability to survive in this world, I will let you go," Wei Tianyang’s forehead grew horns, and his skin turned dark. Four blood-red pupils swirled in his eye sockets as he grinned, revealing jagged teeth.
Rada Gan covered his mouth and laughed, not expecting Wei Tianyang to say that.
Cha Na trembled; he was unlikely to defeat Wei Tianyang.
"This makes no sense..." Cha Na trembled as he spoke.
"No one is going to be reasonable with you; possession of power gives you the right to choose," Wei Tianyang said.
"Why... I just want to avenge my friends and family!" Cha Na said.
"Come, defeat me, and then you can go and get your revenge," Wei Tianyang laughed.
He approached Cha Na, his right fist cracking.
Cha Na stepped back, looking around, and seeing a table knife, he grabbed it and stabbed at Wei Tianyang.
Like a lamb cornered by a black bear, Cha Na’s attack was meaningless to Wei Tianyang, but that brave stab demonstrated his stance.
Wei Tianyang easily caught his wrist, swung him down, and slammed him onto the floor.
Cha Na’s face slammed against the wooden floor, turning his cheek red instantly; he lay there, his right hand twisted in an awkward position, his shoulder in severe pain, tears swirling in his eyes.
With just a slight force, Wei Tianyang heard a ’kacha’ sound as he broke Cha Na’s forearm and upper arm.
Cha Na groaned in pain, then was pulled up again; he clenched his left fist and struck at Wei Tianyang’s abdomen, only to feel like he was hitting a block of iron. The next second, Wei Tianyang’s knee struck his abdomen, sending a shock through his body as if he were electrified.
"Ugh!" He bent over, vomiting all the food from his stomach onto the floor, his vision blurred, his limbs weak.
Wei Tianyang tossed him aside, watching as he lay gasping on the floor.
Rada Gan sighed and made a call for the waiter.
"You can heal him quickly, right?" Rada Gan asked.
"No," Wei Tianyang shook his head.
He turned and walked towards the window, remaining silent.
"Yishenmali, it looks like you’ll need to rest for a while," Rada Gan looked at Cha Na on the floor and smiled.
"Until you can defeat me, this hotel will be your prison," Wei Tianyang declared.
Rada Gan helped Cha Na up and led him out of the room. After the waiter cleaned the vomit from the floor, they respectfully left as well.
At the moment, Wei Tianyang continued to listen to the voices in his mind.
Cries for help, prayers, all directed at him.
He caught a massive voice, that of a group of war refugees arguing about breaking into another country’s border.
Wei Tianyang opened the window and, with a whoosh, flew out.
