Chapter 446: Chapter 444 This is Your New Life

The girl hesitated, and Wei Tianyang knew she couldn’t let go of her father.

"Your father can’t afford to keep you, and the laws of Yin Country won’t protect someone like you from the lower classes. You haven’t had much education and harbor only a simple wish in your heart, lacking both wisdom and talent. Your youth and earnestness will only be exploited, and your will isn’t strong enough, which led you here, tempted to this point. I know what you’ve been through. If you go back, you’re likely to repeat today’s mistakes," Wei Tianyang said.

The girl lowered her head, clenched her fists, and struggled internally for the last time.

Wei Tianyang continued, "I own a hotel, and you can work there. I can offer you a comfortable life, and even give you the chance to study. You will become a completely different person, entering a new world, severing all ties with your past. All you have to do is come with me."

The girl was a bit swayed by his words, but she still hadn’t made her decision.

Wei Tianyang slowly began to float, saying, "In a person’s life, there’s only one chance to change their fate. You’re standing at a crossroads. Hesitation and refusal to change are the same thing. Since you can’t let go of the past, I won’t force you..."

At that moment, the girl looked up and asked, "Why... why do you want to do this?"

Taking a deep breath, Wei Tianyang gazed at the dazzling starry sky.

"Because on a rainy day, someone reached out to me," he replied.

The girl closed her eyes, mustered her courage, took several deep breaths, then looked up at Wei Tianyang in the air and reached out to him.

Wei Tianyang grabbed her, held her tight in his arms, and she wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head against his chest, feeling his heartbeat sounding like thunder.

"Hey! What about us?!" the others called out as they gathered below Wei Tianyang, seeing that he was about to fly away.

Wei Tianyang looked into the distance, where a bus rose from beyond the enclosure wall, buzzing as it flew over and eventually was set down on the plaza.

He threw down the keys, "Drive South, cross the border, then surrender yourselves to the Yin Country army."

With that, he soared into the sky, flying towards Heisai State.

The newly initiated Starbucks couldn’t bear to look down. She felt as though she was lying in a cradle, leaving the land that had nurtured her, her worth and life now controlled by a deity.

Perhaps everyone has their own destiny, and everything she had suffered in the past was just the price paid for this day’s arrival.

Wei Tianyang flew slowly and not too high, knowing Starbucks couldn’t handle the strong winds and the cold from high altitudes, nor the friction and inertia from fast movement; it could kill her.

However, even so, flying was still much faster than walking on the ground.

In Wei Tianyang’s arms, Starbucks saw sights she had never seen in her lifetime.

Clouds surged around her as the colorful cityscapes and twinkling villages below resembled glowing rivers and lakes.

Between the countries of East State, the serene forests slept under the moonlight. Upon entering Heisai State, the blue desert, glittering with slivers of silver, slowly turned orange with the rising sun, and then into a dazzling gold.

With tears streaming down her face, Starbucks wept softly, immersed in happiness. She rapidly converted from an atheist to the most ardent believer as her life was saved by an in-world deity, to whom she had prayed only once.

Overwhelmed with immense relief and guilt, she clung tightly to Wei Tianyang, fearing this might just be a dream before death.

After all, the experience was too perfect, so perfect that it felt unreal.

Yet, when she realized it was all incredibly real, her admiration for Wei Tianyang grew even more intense, to the point of a fervent willingness for self-sacrifice.

Wei Tianyang became her truth, the brightest in her life. She renounced her own name, and from that night on, she was Starbucks, forever.

Wei Tianyang returned to the Pei Guode Hotel with Starbucks, Eltoya was already bathed in the morning light, the streets were not yet crowded, only some road cleaners were busy at work.

He had her slowly stand on the windowsill, then watched as she crouched and jumped into her own room. It was dawn in Eltoya, and the sunlight passing through the window left a white patch of light on the floor.

Starbucks’s dirty shoes had just stepped onto the wooden floor when she saw, by the window, a white-haired woman curled up on a cushion, sleeping in an embrace with a doll, while nearby at the mini-fridge, a black goat was attempting to tug the refrigerator door open with its horns.

She was somewhat curious and stared at the strange doll wrapped in bandages and without limbs.

Suddenly, the doll opened its eyes and looked at her.

"Ah!!!!!!" Starbucks screamed in alarm and involuntarily stepped back several paces.

She bumped right into Wei Tianyang’s arms.

Wei Tianyang walked past her, picked up a golden speaking tube from the wall, and said a few words.

Soon, the sound of dress shoes clacking on the wooden floor echoed from outside the door.

After two gentle knocks, Rada Gan walked into the room. He glanced at the young girl who had appeared in the room and then at Wei Tianyang, saying, "What are your orders?"

"This is Starbucks," Wei Tianyang said.

"Hello, Starbucks," Rada Gan said with a smile.

But Starbucks didn’t understand Spanish, so she could only smile awkwardly.

"We have many rooms still, and we need someone to manage the floors above the 21st," Wei Tianyang said.

"I’ll teach her everything necessary, but before that, she needs to take a bath and change her clothes," Rada Gan nodded in agreement.

"She’s a bit hungry," Wei Tianyang said.

"Hmm, I’ll instruct the kitchen to prepare something," Rada Gan said.

Rada Gan extended his hand to Starbucks and smiled, "Come on, follow me. Let’s fill our stomachs first and tidy up a bit. Once you’re ready, I’ll give you a tour of the hotel."

Starbucks smiled awkwardly; she didn’t understand the barrage of Spanish from Rada Gan.

Wei Tianyang said with a laugh, "She doesn’t understand."

"Oh, okay then," Rada Gan said while taking out his mobile phone.

He dialed a number, and in 2 seconds, it was connected. He ordered, "Go buy the latest model Blackberry phone, as well as AR glasses and earphones."

Kui Kui Ge’s voice came through the phone, "I’m on it right away."

"Alright, with this, we can communicate before she learns Spanish," Rada Gan said.

Wei Tianyang smiled and nodded to Rada Gan, then looked at Starbucks and said, "Go with him, he will help you settle in and teach you some things you must learn. This is a new beginning for you. Don’t disappoint me."

Starbucks nodded and walked towards Rada Gan.

As she left, Starbucks looked at Wei Tianyang and asked, "Will I see you again?"

"I am always here," Wei Tianyang said.
