She picked up the handgun from the desk and followed the commander downstairs.

They had only just descended the staircase when a violent crash echoed from the hall!

As Li Fei walked down the stairs, she saw a small helicopter laying on its side, crashed into the living room, the soldier in the pilot’s seat motionless, and the propeller, as if in jest, twisted into the shape of a bow knot.

"He’s nearby. Go check it out," Li Fei said.

She slung the gun over her shoulder and slowly retreated upstairs while the commander, holding his rifle, moved cautiously toward the side of the helicopter, peering out into the courtyard.
