Upon hearing Lun Lamei dare to curse that the YU family would fall on hard times, Suizi’s first response was to look for something.

When her mouth couldn’t keep up, her hands had to work faster.

To deal with someone as foul-mouthed as Lun Lamei, it was quicker to strike her.

"You don’t believe me?! I tell you, your little sister-in-law is about to have bad luck, all because of you!" Lun Lamei, frightened by Suizi’s attack, shouted.

She knew that Suizi was particularly sensitive about the issue of causing harm to others because of her destiny, and brought it up on purpose to provoke Suizi.

"Wherever you go, misfortune follows. Wait and see, the Yu family will not want you sooner or later. It’s you who have brought disaster upon the Yu family! Your little sister-in-law is done for!"

Suizi’s eyes locked onto the large broom at the door, picked it up, and began beating Lun Lamei over the head.

A series of attacks.

Lun Lamei, yelping from the beating, dared not act cheeky anymore, and turned to run into the house.

Fearing that Suizi could chase her into the house, she locked the door from the inside.

Suizi picked up her books and left the courtyard, placing them on a small cart. After thinking for a while, she returned to the courtyard, tied up the three chickens in the yard, tossed them onto the cart as well. Lun Lamei, standing inside the house, saw this through the glass door and almost passed out from fury.

"Chen Hansui! You harm others without benefiting yourself! What’s your game?! You even stole our chickens!"

Suizi gestured at Lun Lamei with expressionless face, indicating her to dare to come out.

Lun Lamei didn’t dare to go out and could only yell at her from behind the door:

"You bring calamity to everyone around you! The Yu family will sooner or later get rid of you because of your curse! Your little sister-in-law is in for trouble!"

Suizi bent down, picked up a stone from the ground, and threw it at the door with a loud crash.

Lun Lamei immediately squatted down on the ground and covered her head. After spending so much time with Li Youcai, she had even learned his signature action.

When Lun Lamei stood up, Suizi had already left with a cart full of "spoils of war".

"Damn! A bringer of bad luck — ah, the chickens are gone, how am I going to explain this to mother?" Lun Lamei looked miserable.

From a distance, Suizi saw Li Youcai. He was standing under a tree, ingratiating himself with the village chief by lighting his cigarettes, acting like a sycophant.

Li Youcai had been reborn, he had more information than she did. Could it be that Li Youcai told Lun Lamei something?

Eating at her heart, Suizi was pushing the tricycle cart without paying attention and the front wheel got caught on a rock. The cart tipped over.

The chickens and books were all scattered on the ground, nearly hitting a man nearby who let out a scream.

The man who was almost hit was about thirty years old, shorter than Suizi. His facial features were bunched together as if they had not fully developed, giving him a very sleazy look.

The man looked terrified, he seemed very timid. After realizing Suizi was a woman, he showed a glint of hatred in his eyes and murmured a curse.

"Stupid b*tch!"

The voice was not loud, but Suizi heard it. She frowned, but since she was at fault, she did not plan to say anything. She bent down to right the cart and then picked up her books.

She didn’t remember seeing this man before, he wasn’t a local.

The man was emboldened by Suizi’s silence, and continued his rant.

"Cheap woman, can’t you look where you’re going, are you blind?"

"What did you say?" Suizi threw the books into the cart and stood up to look at him coldly.

The man was just getting fired up with his rant, but seeing Suizi suddenly turn fierce, he stepped back and even showed signs of turning around to leave.

Suizi scoffed at him, thinking him a lunatic.

People like him bully the gentler ones but scare off from those who stand up to them.

Li Youcai was busy sucking up to the village chief when he looked up and saw his dream girl. His eyes lit up, but when he saw the man next to Suizi, his face turned pale and he threw the chief aside and ran towards Suizi.

"Chen Hansui! Are you alright?"

"What could possibly happen to me?" Suizi didn’t want to see Li Youcai, the sight of him easily triggered her morning sickness.

"Stay away from Yan Changgui; he’s a lunatic, he’s dangerous!"

Li Youcai had not finished speaking when he felt a chill from behind.

"Well, well, isn’t that Li Youcai?" Yu Jingting cracked his knuckles with an icy laugh, standing behind Li Youcai.

Without even turning his head, Li Youcai took off running.

He had been beaten by Yu Jingting too many times, by now he knew the routine.

Yu Jingting wanted to give chase, but was stopped by Suizi.

"Ignore that moron, what are you doing here?"

"The men are gathered here, naturally discussing important matters."

Of course, Yu Jingting couldn’t admit that he snuck away from his wife to hang out with his buddies smoking cigarettes.

After Suizi got pregnant, she didn’t allow him to smoke at home, claiming that secondhand smoke was bad for the baby. So, Yu Jingting sneak out to smoke. While blowing smoke and bragging, he saw Li Youcai bothering his wife again and couldn’t resist intervening.

Suizi didn’t point out his lie, but only stared intently towards the direction Li Youcai had run off to.

"Jingting, do you know Yan Changgui?"

"Oh, that loser from Yuanjia Village. Over thirty and still can’t get a wife, they say it’s because he’s timid and no one wants him. He hardly talks to anyone on any normal day. Why do you ask about him?"

"I nearly ran into him earlier, and he cussed at me a few times, then Li Youcai came running."

Yu Jingting sneered, Li Youcai was not beaten enough to still dare to pester Suizi?

He moved out back then because something had happened to Jiaojiao.

Upon realizing this truth, Suizi’s vision went black, and she almost lost her footing.
