Darkness filled Jiaojiao’s vision and she was completely bewildered. The thought of having to get involved in the adults’ battle made her feel like a shrimp caught in the storm.

Suizi was a woman of her word.

Getting textbooks for Jiaojiao was easy, she just had to phone her third aunt in Beijing and have her bring the books over.

Suizi decided to handle the special curriculum for Yu Jingting herself.

The next day, when Chen Lijun woke up, the breakfast was already prepared by Wang Cuihua, but Suizi and her husband were nowhere to be seen.
