The patrol officer saw no issue, his gaze shifted to Zheng Yichen’s motorcycle and he praised, "Your bike is quite nice."

After speaking, the patrol officer rode away. He had stopped to check Zheng Yichen’s documents because he saw that Zheng Yichen had bought quite a few items, but since there were no issues, there was no need to linger.

When leaving the city, Zheng Yichen was stopped yet again. He took an entry and exit permit from the pile of documents, and after seeing this, he smoothly left the city. The guards at the city’s exits now looked at Zheng Yichen with an added touch of inexplicable regard.

After leaving the city, Zheng Yichen felt completely liberated. Keeping the motorcycle in autopilot, he tasted the snacks he had bought, casually stuffing some chips into a small opening of the motorcycle.

It wasn’t that Lilith wanted to taste the snacks; he was just letting the built-in Universal Toolbox analyze them. The analysis results were quick and showed that these snacks were not very different from those in Hazy City.

Though they contained little nutritional value, they were not harmful. The added No Worry Herb didn’t pose any substantial harm to the human body; it was an excellent substance for soothing the mind.

"We might need to collect some No Worry Herb seeds, they should be easy to obtain. Wait a moment, there seems to be something over there. Let’s go have a look," Zheng Yichen pointed in a direction and said.

They were now dozens of kilometers away from the city. Zheng Yichen intermittently used thermal vision on the way. Inside the city, it was fine, but outside it was quite chaotic. Now he was looking at a ’heat source’ that seemed rather cold.

"Who lives here?" Zheng Yichen looked towards a small house not too far from the garden, a two-story villa covered in gloomy ivy. The walls weren’t too worn, and the windows were clean, giving off the vibe of a modern witch’s abode.

Zheng Yichen walked over and knocked on the door.

Having come all this way, it would be a pity not to make an inquiry. The herb garden was permeated with a strong sense of despair. Whoever lived here must be mentally troubled to some degree. He was curious to see how those with special powers lived in this world.

"Stranger, this place is dangerous for you. Leave immediately!" A hoarse female voice came from behind the door. Through thermal vision, Zheng Yichen could see that the person was in a wary state, holding something in her hand.

"I’d like to learn about some things. If you don’t mind, let’s talk. I have something for trade," Zheng Yichen snapped his fingers, and the motorcycle moved closer to him. He took out a small container from the storage box. Inside was a small amount of red powder, the Essence of Life from a Skeleton behemoth.

For any living being, this stuff was as good as a cure-all panacea in the right doses.
