"I don’t know; let’s wait and see," Chiang Wei said, looking at a countdown on a screen with thirty minutes remaining. This was the time Zheng Yichen and she had agreed upon, after which she would activate the camouflage system, and Zheng Yichen could bypass the fortress’s Skynet defenses.

As for other equipment, she had also prepared for Zheng Yichen. The special ability interference device she had dismantled was now in pieces, and she had taken the core components to make a specialized interference gun for Zheng Yichen. The gun could shoot at Special Ability Users as well as disrupt similar devices.

The ammunition consumption would depend on Zheng Yichen’s own Thunder type ability; even if affected by the special ability interference device, his ability could still function, albeit with diminished effects and range, which was more than sufficient to power the interference gun.

"It’s time."

As the countdown ended, Chiang Wei crisply activated the camouflage system. At the same time, Zheng Yichen began his operation, using his Wind type ability to take flight. He continued to descend slowly until he felt a slightly solidified layer of air. His downward speed suddenly increased.

He could counter surveillance with projection camouflage and even eliminate heat signatures by insulation with water, but there was no way to evade such physical detection that affected the air.

Moments later, the fortress’s alarm sounded: "Intruder detected!"
