Chapter 1133: Chapter 819: The Troubles of Knowing Too Much

"I think I’ve glimpsed the essence of the world..." Zheng Yichen snapped out of his daze with a wistful sense of loss. In the giant’s vision, he saw far too many things, and at its peak, the planet beneath his feet seemed as small as a marble.

The sun revolved around this marble-like planet, and the moon, which shared the same orbital motion as the sun, followed suit. However, the moon didn’t need to reflect the sun’s light; it could emanate its own glow.

That said, the moon’s light came in cycles, waxing and waning. The white moon and black moon would have different impacts on the planet.

Then there were the stars farther away, though those stars appeared false in Zheng Yichen’s view.

Using environmental compression, Lilith had reduced the simulated planet to a 55×55×55 space... effectively creating a palm-sized world in many ways, something Zheng Yichen found rather absurd.

Seeing Lilith in her current Red Dress State, Zheng Yichen nodded knowingly. Maintaining such compression wasn’t easy and clearly placed considerable strain on her.

Even now, Lilith had fused with the Virtual World Core, greatly enhancing her computing power. Previously, this core had been able to overwhelm Lilith due to its immense computational capacity.

But now that computing power belonged to Lilith, yet compressing the environment still left her in a high-load state.

"Enough is enough; there’s actually no need to go this far," Zheng Yichen advised, placing Lilith, who was sitting on his shoulder, into the palm of his hand. He lightly stroked her head with his fingers, noticing it felt a bit hot.

This clearly wasn’t because Lilith was embarrassed—it was simply from overheating under high load.

"Boss, this environment surpasses the strength of a Divine Domain by far. While its edges may not count as the World Barrier, its protective qualities already exceed those of normal spatial boundaries."

"Moreover, in this environment, we can suppress enemies more effectively, like..."

Lilith glanced at Nelliwey and Little Holy Maiden Lillian. "Please cooperate with me."

She avoided asking Katrina and Eileena to cooperate. Though their strength was growing rapidly, they remained far from reaching the level of a demigod.

"I can cooperate too!" Tanshia Firlo shouted eagerly, clearly wanting to try this so-called suppression.

"Then transform first," Lilith didn’t deny Tanshia’s request.

Watching Tanshia swiftly transform into a white dragon, Zheng Yichen scratched his chin thoughtfully. "Speaking of which, are we currently tiny beings?"

Although the surrounding environment seemed vast, it was merely a result of compression. The real issue was that they weren’t even inside the game—they were in reality.

The fusion of the Virtual World Core with the Divine Domain had created what they called the Virtual Genesis. It sounded impressive, but in essence, it was still fundamentally rooted in the Divine Domain—a sort of advancement of it.

"No, to be precise, this compression is caused by spatial folding."

"Ah~" Zheng Yichen nodded in understanding. The reflective markings he had noticed earlier were likely artifacts of the folding process.

"I’m ready now. Show me your suppression abilities," Tanshia Firlo said enthusiastically, glancing at the protective sphere surrounding her. Though the sphere hadn’t grown larger following her transformation, its effectiveness hadn’t diminished either.

While the protective sphere was active, her resistance and other defenses were greatly enhanced. Yet even the sphere couldn’t...

What? ??

Astonished by her resilience being overwhelmed, Tanshia Firlo faltered and collapsed to the ground, her dragon form unable to stay airborne. The protective sphere around her also dropped limply to the ground.

Even the magic power she had unleashed was suppressed back into her, making it impossible to maintain her transformed state. The invisible forces of compression forced her back into human form.

"Ugh... this feels awful." Tanshia Firlo whimpered pitifully, sprawled on the ground. The process of being squeezed back into human form felt as though her internal organs were being crushed.

This even plunged her into an existential crisis. Never had she imagined herself to be this weak. She had activated her protective sphere and layered herself with defense spells, only to be instantly defeated?

"Is it really this powerful?" Zheng Yichen found the scene absurd. Tanshia Firlo, after all, was a demigod who had independently awakened her divinity. She was only lacking enough time for further development, which made her seem weaker in comparison to him.

But among everyone present, other than Zheng Yichen himself, Tanshia Firlo was far from weak.

Yet this small white dragon had been instantly defeated? What happened to the dragon’s magic resistance?

"I simply know her too well. If it were another opponent, it wouldn’t be this straightforward." Lilith remarked as she released her suppression over Tanshia Firlo, explaining that her ability to overpower her came from having intimate knowledge of nearly all her data.

Forget actual enemies—even if swapping her for the two Holy Maidens, the outcome wouldn’t be as easy as it had been with the small white dragon.

"Then let us give it a try too. Whew, I’m ready now." Little Holy Maiden Lillian stretched her body and quickly cast multiple defensive spells on herself, even using a portion of the Divine Power left to her by the Father God and activating various defensive tools.

Nelliwey didn’t get as worked up. She simply used magic to prepare herself and, as soon as Lilith declared the start of the test,

the two Holy Maidens immediately felt an oppressive weight bearing down on them. This pressure arose from all directions, emanating a strong sense of malice from the environment—malice reminiscent of a God’s Corpse watching them.

Behind Zheng Yichen, the towering tree seemed to come alive, exuding an overwhelming aura of hostility toward them. The physical oppression bore down strongly, but the mental oppression was even more intense!!

With the entire world seeming to target them with hostility, even breathing became extremely difficult. Each breath of air felt like razor blades, resisting their very inhale.

The air entering their lungs was akin to rampaging wind elements. The elements of the environment were hostile toward them, and attempting to manipulate them caused fierce conflicts with their magic power.

Explosive sounds erupted around them as these hostile elemental forces clashed against their protective spells and tools, leading to bursts of energy.

The defensive tools covering Lillian ignited like firecrackers, letting off a series of explosions. The Little Holy Maiden flopped onto the ground, staring blankly at the sky.

In her field of vision, the sky had collapsed, roaring furiously as it disintegrated. The earth ruptured, spewing scorching magma, while the entire planet flung her away.

The suffocation and helplessness of floating in the cosmic void prompted her to struggle, but the weightlessness and lack of elemental powers in the environment rendered her efforts utterly futile.

Crunch—

A crisp sound of something cracking brought Lillian abruptly back to reality. She jumped up with a start and reached out to pat Nelliwey beside her, "Wake up! Hurry up, wake up!"

"Phew~" Nelliwey exhaled deeply, her face showing a complex mix of emotions as she looked at Zheng Yichen. "Truly extraordinary..."

As ’mass-produced’ demigods, the Holy Maidens were somewhat inadequate. The only reason they managed to recover was due to the Father God’s Divine Power calling them back.

"This can actually be regarded as an advancement of the Divine Domain. Given that you’re not in your native world, being suppressed is quite normal," Zheng Yichen explained.

The Godhead, used as enhancement material, had strengthened Lilith and the fishing rod. The fishing rod, in turn, had fused with the World Tree seed. Combining the Godhead, the World Tree seed, and Zheng Yichen’s immense divinity.

All of this culminated in making Zheng Yichen akin to a True God within this Virtual World. Due to the advanced nature of the Divine Domain setup, he surpassed even many True Gods here.

Once outside their native world, the Holy Maidens’ power naturally diminished significantly. Their inability to withstand suppression wasn’t surprising; if they had resisted, it would only have meant the ’Virtual Genesis’ was ridiculously weak.

"...Advancement of the Divine Domain? That’s far beyond us—we cannot comprehend it." Nelliwey said with some regret, realizing the importance of this ’Virtual Genesis.’

But it was unfortunate that they weren’t True Gods. No matter how hard they tried to understand, they could only grasp the surface. If the Father God could gain access to this...

Nelliwey wanted to invite Zheng Yichen back to the world of magic, but considering he had just returned from completing a mission, she hesitated to bring it up.

"I’ll try again after I ascend to the Realm of True Gods someday," Lillian muttered defiantly, feeling embarrassed for being scared earlier.

"Alright, I’ll be waiting anytime," Zheng Yichen replied with a smile to the Little Holy Maiden.

His gaze fell once more onto the chibi-sized Lilith in his hand, who was still overheating. If he were to put her in water now, she could probably boil it.

"Don’t push yourself so hard next time."

"Testing a new machine under stress is necessary," Lilith reasoned. She explained that this was the Virtual World Core’s first use, and high-load testing was naturally required to determine its performance and limits.

When they encountered real battles in the future, adjustments could then be made according to the enemy’s specifics, avoiding over- or under-preparation.

"Now that the tests are complete, everything is perfect," Zheng Yichen remarked as a bucket filled with ice appeared in his hand. As he placed Lilith into the bucket, steam instantly rose from the water.

This bucket had been manifested using the Illusory Eye. Things created with the Illusory Eye in the Virtual World were even more lifelike, visible even to those without the ability.

Though it lacked concealment, there wasn’t much difference when dealing with powerful enemies.

Powerful enemies wouldn’t have poor perception—the ability to simply hide an item’s visibility wasn’t enough unless its aura could be entirely erased as well.

Climbing out of the icy bucket, Lilith, now dressed in a black lace swimsuit, sat on the bucket’s edge. Her avatar shifted from chibi to normal form, though her body remained miniature.

She held a small ice pop in her hand, reflecting the cooling performed by her main body, expressing this vividly through her projection.

"Still as close to perfection as calculating pi..." Lilith shook her head as the numbers stretched infinitely beyond the decimal point, approaching perfection relentlessly but never reaching a conclusion.

As an artificial intelligence, she was now starting to experience the "burden of knowing too much."
