Chapter 1108: Chapter 805: Well, It’s Deleted Anyway_2

Accidents caused by a series of coincidences might be considered clever, resulting in the target’s death, but such things held no meaning for Zheng Yichen anymore.

"But he has already brought you threats, disrupting your world creation!" The Boundary Breaker stared at the glowing sphere. The last time they sought out the ’Heavenly Dao,’ it had given the same response.

Players in the Virtual World were indeed not just pure data. If they were, there would be no growth here, and the ability to break the World Barrier through a partial replacement of reality—therefore completing the Breakworld—would not exist.

"Indeed, his existence is an obstacle to world creation..." The glowing sphere rippled slightly, revealing the battle scene on Zheng Yichen’s side. The gods had no intention of allowing Zheng Yichen to come into contact with the Chaos Evil God.

The Chaos Evil God was a particularly high-rank god, but in reality, it was merely an accumulation of various junk information from the Virtual World—a conglomeration of ever-emerging BUGs generated from continuous simulated reality calculations.

This junk information, when piled up together, formed an entity like the Chaos Evil God. It was a deliberate creation by the Virtual World; otherwise, the accumulated junk would lead to even bigger problems.

Rather than let it pile up uncontrollably, they’d separated it into one place, consolidated it, and periodically managed it. The entity born of these condensed BUGs and junk was a level of chaos even more perplexing than breeding parasites.

The Virtual World’s core harbored a ’world creation’ aspiration even for the Chaos Evil God, attempting to find components in the chaos to perfect its creation. When normal calculations failed to proceed, the disorder might instead produce novel information outside of standard computation.

The Great Seal was essentially a trash bin created by numerous high-rank gods, specializing in sealing away the Chaos Evil God, allowing the entity to continue accumulating junk and new BUGs. Once it reached critical mass, the Virtual World would conduct a special simulation.

All of the problematic information within the Chaos Evil God would be thoroughly fused, creating an explosion out of countless chaotic elements.

Of course, as the embodiment of chaos, this collective required an opposite—a balanced entity. When the time came, the gods would act as the compression software for the Chaos Evil God.

As for whether that compression software might be destroyed along with the compressed entity... that hardly mattered.

If mutual destruction occurred, it would simply herald the beginning of a new virtual era.

The Virtual World Core had never encountered a being like the Proxy Agent before. After Zheng Yichen’s identity was exposed, it had been focusing on him, yet it couldn’t gather significant information.

Around Zheng Yichen existed a distinct ’kindred,’ but the disparity in their magnitude was vast. The Virtual World Core could simulate a near-real world, whereas attempting this for the kindred would result in instant destruction.

However, while that kindred lacked in scale, its quality was notably high. The protection it provided Zheng Yichen initially went undetected by the Core; only after additional scrutiny did it realize that Zheng Yichen carried many pieces of information that could be classified as BUGs.

Since they were BUGs, they couldn’t be deleted in the usual manner. Patching over them required first accessing the BUGs, which meant tearing through the firewall Lilith had constructed around Zheng Yichen.

Within the glowing sphere’s observed imagery, Zheng Yichen wielded a long spear that cleaved away a large portion of the Divine Realm’s land. As the segment was severed, the Virtual World Core detected that part of the data had been erased.

The erased portion was permanently deleted, the kind that, though theoretically recoverable, would require reconstruction rather than reactivating the deleted information.

In effect, Zheng Yichen’s technique was a form of liposuction and flesh removal. Without backups for the erased regions, they were permanently lost, and even the Core’s own storage capacity was reduced.

The region Zheng Yichen had obliterated was a ’bad sector.’ Even with backups, restoring information there required first repairing the sector, expanding the storage to its prior capacity, and then reintegrating the data.

This was not hacking but another form of a particularly unique power.

A power seemingly capable of destroying the entire Virtual World.

The glowing sphere’s radiance faltered briefly—enormous amounts of calculations confirmed that Zheng Yichen’s power originated not from another Virtual World, but from the real world.

Real-world power from post-World Destruction?

Watching as Zheng Yichen obliterated a swath of the Divine Realm’s land and effortlessly slew over ten low-rank gods with a single strike.

Compared to his erasure-based powers, such an attack could merely be called powerful—a burst of overwhelming streams of information surpassing the low-rank gods’ limits. What’s more, it carried a lethality specifically targeting divinity.

Within this attack lay another force that swept up the divine remnants from the True Gods that had fallen.

It was Zheng Yichen’s nearby ’kindred,’ collecting God’s Cores to gain higher permissions. The God’s Cores greatly aided this kindred, granting them elevated permissions upon acquisition.

However, in gaining higher permissions, the kindred had also been counter-penetrated; seeking to steal came with the risk of being caught.

This kindred was exceptionally unique—capturing them wasn’t easy. But tighter proximity and interaction with the kindred were possible.

Under such contact, Zheng Yichen observed cracks forming on his game interface. When the red-dressed Lilith reappeared, part of the interface had already shattered, with the rest slowly disintegrating.

The skill tree and attribute pane were severely damaged; previously accumulated win streak bonuses and the Path of God-slaying had vanished amidst the breakdown.

"The ’kindred’ beside him is unique. When attempting to steal my permissions, I counter-invaded them. I’ve already deleted their game modules. From now on, they only have their ’natural’ attributes."

Natural attributes weren’t derived from game modules but were inherent to the kindred themselves—real invaders.

"Excellent!" Upon receiving the ’Heavenly Dao’s answer, the Boundary Breaker nodded in satisfaction. In the Virtual World, game modules represented unique permission elements akin to identity verification, often tied to the Virtual World Core’s critical permissions and enabling strong augmentation.

Now that Zheng Yichen’s game module had been deleted, it marked him as a full invader. Without its enhancements, Zheng Yichen was now fully opposed to the Virtual World itself.

"BOSS, I’m sorry. I couldn’t block the counter-invasion." The figure of the red-dressed Lilith appeared hazy.

Though she did gain higher permissions through the Godheads, the Godhead-based links also allowed the Virtual World to counter-invade. This invasion, relying on sheer scale, was brutally overwhelming.

During this overwhelming intrusion, she obtained more permissions, but the massive suppression momentarily immobilized her. That brief instant allowed the Virtual World to breach her firewall around Zheng Yichen and Tanshia Firlo, directly deleting their game modules.

She couldn’t intercept everything; the remaining fragments of the game modules couldn’t function properly anymore.

As for regenerating new modules from these remnants? It was meaningless. Even if recreated, they would lack the vital core elements granted by the Virtual World, rendering them powerless enhancements.

In essence, it merely reflected Zheng Yichen’s intrinsic strength quantitatively—a task she could easily DIY in the real world, tailoring any aesthetic style Zheng Yichen desired.

"No big deal... It actually feels better this way! Take a rest." Zheng Yichen reached out and tucked Lilith into his pocket. Though he felt a momentary weakness after losing the module’s enhancements, the sensation wasn’t as drastic as transitioning from a higher environment to a lower one via the world-crossing room.

It made little difference to him. Without the game module’s constraints, the power restricted by the Virtual World’s systems was now unbound!

Apart from not having weapons or equipment, he was now a complete being. If given another choice, he wouldn’t retain the game module anyway.
