Chapter 776
"Actually, you could paint it like this." Sherry Sullivan said, reaching for a brush and stretching toward Chloe Collins’ drawing paper.
"Don’t touch." Chloe didn’t turn around and replied coldly.
A few seconds later, she put the brush down.
Sherry still smiled, saying, "It looks good, but sometimes when the painting is too perfect, it loses its soul. You must be an amateur in this regard. Let the teacher teach you how to paint with soul."
Chloe took the drawing paper out and glanced at it, saying, "No need."
Raine Nolan: "Cousin, Ms. Sullivan is a great painter. You should cherish the opportunity to learn from her."
"Cousin?" Sherry was stunned for a moment.
Then she realized.
Chloe was surnamed Collins, so she was the young lady of the house, and Raine was her cousin.
So why was it Raine who sent them the invitation?
Several teachers behind her thought the same thing.
Some of them drew the conclusion that one was sensible, and the other was spoiled and impolite, showing no respect.
For example, at this moment, Ms. Sullivan already offered to teach her; she should give up her seat and listen carefully, not indifferently saying, "No need."
But since they were guests, they wouldn’t say anything and simply looked on.
Sherry had different thoughts.
She was looking at the young girl, not knowing what other appealing qualities she had besides her pretty face to make Alexander Foster interested.
After a moment, she said, "Did you learn how to paint the other day after seeing my painting of him? If you’re really interested, I can make time to teach you sometimes."
She could understand that the young girl felt jealous seeing her boyfriend showcased at another woman’s exhibition, so she wanted to be like her, drawing him as well.
Sherry continued, "I probably knew him earlier than you did. The depth of understanding one has of a person actually influences the quality of the painting."
Chloe rolled up her painting, turned her head, and looked at Sherry calmly, "Did you know him eight years ago?"
Upon hearing this, Sherry’s face froze.
Eight years?
Did this young girl actually know him for eight years?
Eight years ago, how old was this girl?
"Sister! You’re here!"
Theodore Collins’ voice came over.
Alexander Foster also turned around, with Theodore still on his shoulders.
Theodore waved at Chloe, "Sister, look, I dug out the Thousand Origami Cranes and hung them up. Milty helped me."
Alex smiled at Chloe.
Chloe walked towards them with the painting in hand, leaving behind the five people.
Seeing this, Raine said to the teachers, "Let’s start painting then."
Apart from Sherry, the other teachers gave Raine face and immediately started painting.
Sherry looked from afar as Chloe walked towards them, and saw the corner of Alex’s mouth curl into a smile.
Afterward, she followed suit.
"So many Thousand Origami Cranes."
This remark got Alex to glance at her.
She took the opportunity to walk next to Chloe and smiled, "Long time no see."
This remark sounded like old friends meeting up, full of stories.
With her smile adding to the effect, it made onlookers think more about it.
Raine hurried over and asked in surprise, "Ms. Sullivan, you know Mr. Foster?"
Sherry smiled faintly, "Actually, outside of the classroom, you don’t have to call me Ms. Sullivan. Although I am teaching you for the competition, I’m only 25 years old this year, not yet 26. You can just call me Sister Sherry."
After learning this information, people knew that she was their teacher and they were her students.
After saying that, she smiled at Alex and answered Raine’s previous question, "Yes, we’re old friends. Alexander once saved my life. You could say we have a bond for life."
Raine was surprised, "Such a deep relationship?"
Just as her words fell, Alex’s voice sounded beside her ear-
"Don’t know her well."
