Chapter 595
Raine Nolan arrived at the designated seat and sat down, with the family section beside her.
Tristan Collins and Tessa Collins sat down next to them, and both had unhappy expressions on their faces.
Raine knew that they were sitting here for the glory of the Collinses, not for her, Raine Nolan.
She clutched the letter in her hand but didn’t dare open it.
The Grand Assembly had begun and was currently delivering some unimportant yet necessary speeches.
Tessa didn’t have much patience, and her voice lacked energy. She said, "Just look at it. No matter what the result is, you’ll find out eventually."
Only then did Raine slowly take out the envelope.
She carefully removed the card inside, revealing the first line of text.
The first line was the results.
She sped up a bit and immediately saw the theoretical scores.
points.
Her eyes sparkled with joy, and her face lit up. "Mom, it’s ninety-three points!"
Rosalind Taylor smiled and let out a huge sigh of relief.
Tessa looked confused. "Ninety-three points, did she pass?"
Rosalind Taylor nodded. "Yes, Raine scored fifty points on the practical test, and together with ninety-three here, her average score is more than sixty, so she passes."
Tessa nodded, and the gloom in her eyes faded a bit. She said with relief, "As long as she made it, that’s good. It’s just, in the future, you’ll have to be in the same alliance as her, and her position will be higher than yours, so you’ll undoubtedly suffer from her."
Now surrounded by joy, Raine didn’t worry about such distant matters. She said, "It’s fine. I’ll just ignore her, anyway."
As she spoke, she carefully looked at Tristan and said, "Dad, I successfully entered the Fragrance Alliance."
Tristan didn’t say anything.
"The full list is out." Tessa looked at the big screen.
The host said, "Let us give a warm round of applause to the twelve chosen perfumers this year."
Twelve perfumers.
More than fifty people entered the semi-finals, but in the end, only twelve were selected.
Raine was one of them and felt immensely proud.
She subconsciously looked at the top three, hoping to see her name.
But it wasn’t there.
Her gaze moved down, and her smile gradually froze.
"Raine, where’s your name?"
Tessa looked puzzled.
Rosalind Taylor frowned suddenly. "Is there another page?"
Tessa replied, "No, the host said there are twelve selected in total, and there are already twelve names up there!"
Raine’s heart thumped wildly, and a great sense of unease weighed heavily on her.
She looked down and pulled out the entire card from the envelope!
In an instant, her pupils constricted!
On the result sheet, apart from the theoretical and practical scores, there was another section.
That section was for conduct.
Grades were calculated proportionally, not by averaging the scores.
Conduct accounted for 20% of the total score, while theory and practice each took 40%.
Her total conduct score was ten points. After multiplying by 0.2, she only had two points added to her total score!
Her theoretical score was ninety-three points, so it counted for 37.2 points.
Her practical score was fifty points, which counted for 20 points.
So, her final total score was 59.2 points.
Unqualified!!!
"Raine, let me see!"
Rosalind Taylor saw Raine’s soulless expression and hurriedly took the result sheet to check.
Her gaze changed abruptly when she saw the conduct section.
The scoring criteria for the conduct column were: twenty points would be deducted for each minor infraction, with a maximum of one hundred points deducted for up to five.
For more severe cases (such as causing personal injury, huge financial losses, etc.), ninety points would be deducted directly.
Raine’s conduct record mentioned her deal with Brandon Spence, which resulted in Gilbert Carson being injured and was thus classified as a severe case. They deducted ninety points directly!
Rosalind Taylor looked dazed. "How did they find out about this?"
