Raine Nolan pouted: "Alright."

"Well, are the results coming out tomorrow?"

Raine: "Yes, the report cards will be handed out tomorrow afternoon."

Rosalind Taylor’s tone was filled with satisfaction: "Since you feel that you performed well in the exams, it must be good. Your dad said he’ll accompany you to attend the fragrance alliance’s re-examination during the winter break, and we’ll also have a family vacation."

A smile appeared on Raine’s face.

After having late-night snacks, Chloe Collins’ heartache had almost disappeared, but she still took the medicine given by Albert Green.

Alexander Foster was currently boiling water in the kitchen to make her some honey water.

As the medicine took effect, she rested her eyes on the couch, pillowing her head on Alexander’s coat.

The faint fragrance was rather hypnotic.

When Alexander brought the steaming honey water back, she had already fallen into a deep sleep.

Her hand clutched his clothes, like a baby.

He curled his lips, squatted down, and carefully pulled his clothes from her hands. As she turned her head, he smoothly let her lean into his arm and picked her up.

He didn’t see a small object suddenly fall out of Chloe’s ear.

The next second, Chloe opened her eyes sharply and instinctively covered her ears.

Alexander asked doubtfully: "What’s wrong? Is your ear hurting?"

As soon as the words left his mouth, he saw the small white object on the floor.

He had seen this thing more than once, and it always fell out of her ears.

He picked it up and handed it to her: "Looking for this?"

Chloe nodded, took it, and put it on. Then, she realized she was lying in his arms.

Alexander calmly explained: "I just wanted to carry you to the bedroom."

Chloe got up: "Thank you for tonight. Do you want to go home or stay here? The guest room is over there."

She pointed in a direction.

Alexander didn’t answer but asked: "Do you want me to leave or stay?"

She clutched the corner of her clothes and glanced at him.

"Up to you."

"Good night."

After saying that, she turned around and walked towards the bedroom.

Her steps were quite fast.

Alexander stared at her ears, deep in thought.

When Chloe returned to the bedroom, she couldn’t fall asleep.

She had her hearing aid on, but she could still vaguely hear the movements outside.

She casually picked up a book to read, not sleeping.

About a few minutes later, she heard the sound of the guest room door opening.

The corner of her mouth unconsciously curved up, and then she focused on her book.

Not long after, Alexander knocked on the door.

She looked up: "Come in."

As the door opened, the man walked in.

Chloe’s gaze moved from his face downward, eventually focusing on his bare feet.

Then, a bell appeared before her eyes.

"If you feel uncomfortable at night, just shake this."

As he spoke, he shook it first, and a crisp jingling sound echoed in the room.

Chloe smirked: "It’s like something for an old person."

She took the bell, which was round and had a cute little rabbit pendant attached to it.

Quite adorable.

Alexander spoke softly: "When you’re old, you won’t need this to call me, just kick me."

Chloe looked up at him, and after two seconds, she said: "Master said, you can’t flirt with your senior fellow and take advantage of her."

Alexander seemed to obediently nod his head, but he took a step forward, gently rubbing her head and said: "Master once mentioned to me that our horoscopes are compatible."

Chloe was stunned.

The man smiled faintly, bid her goodnight, and then went out.

"Wait a minute."

Chloe got off the bed, and as she passed him, her hand pinched his clothes, pulling him out of the room.

"I’ll find you a pair of slippers."

Alexander looked at her subconscious action, the corner of his mouth secretly curling up, and he followed behind her with enjoyment.
