Chapter 542: Chapter 542: Found the Doctor Who Treated Wanda Wesley Just Now
Chapter 542
Wanda Wesley couldn’t help but softly say, "But no matter how lucky a person is, they can’t always score full marks and come first, right? I think Chloe Collins has real strength. You should treat them all equally, you can’t say things like that."
Vanessa Brooke snapped back, "Do I need you to teach me what to do?"
The loud response caught the attention of people in the adjacent hospital beds, who began looking over.
Vanessa calmed herself down and said, "Anyway, I’ve said what I wanted to say, you still wouldn’t understand. Just take care of yourself and don’t get sick again. There are more lab exams coming up, and I hope you won’t make any more mistakes in that section. Even if you can’t make it into the Training Squad or get a Gold Medal, at least try to get a Silver Medal for me."
Having said that, she glanced at her watch.
"Raine is still taking her exam. I’ll go over there first. If you need anything, give me a call."
"Wanda Wesley."
A voice came, and Vanessa looked back.
Upon seeing Chloe Collins, she looked surprised and then scrutinized her pale face.
"So you came to the hospital too? What’s wrong? What kind of illness do you have?"
She asked with a tone of blame.
Chloe Collins ignored her, saying indifferently, "I’m fine."
As soon as she finished speaking, she walked over to Wanda’s bedside. Just then, a nurse came in to give Wanda an IV.
Chloe Collins asked Wanda, "What happened to your health?"
Wanda gave her a smile, "It’s just sudden anemia, I’ll be fine after the injection."
"Where is the doctor’s diagnosis report?"
Wanda waved her hand, "There’s really nothing wrong, no need to look at that. If you don’t believe me, just ask the nurse."
Chloe Collins’ gaze followed to the nurse.
The nurse glanced at the IV medication and said lightly, "It’s nothing serious, just general anemia and fever. She just needs to get an injection, take the medication on time, and she’ll be fine."
Chloe Collins thought that since the nurse wasn’t a doctor, she might not know the specific situation and turned to ask Vanessa Brooke if she had asked earlier.
However, Vanessa had already left the room without Chloe noticing.
Soon, Chloe received a message from Vanessa.
[I’ll leave Wanda’s care to you. Raine is still taking her exam, and there must be a teacher by her side, or her mental state will collapse. She’s the only hope for Affiliated High School, so I have to go back. You guys take care of yourselves, and if there’s anything special, let me know.]
Chloe Collins coldly read the message and put her phone back in her pocket without replying.
She asked Wanda if she wanted to eat anything and offered to buy it for her.
Wanda gave her a silly smile and didn’t refuse, shyly saying, "There is actually something I want to eat."
"Hmm, tell me."
"It’s sold nearby, I saw it on my phone yesterday, Willis’ Diner’s Pan-fried Dumplings."
She showed an expression of love for the food, "I’ve tried pan-fried dumplings from all over the country, and the ones in Orlando are the best, and Willis’ Diner’s are the best in Orlando."
Chloe Collins lifted her lips, "You certainly have a taste for food."
Wanda’s words resonated with Chloe since she also loved pan-fried dumplings from that restaurant.
"Then you rest for now, and I’ll go and buy it for you."
Wanda Wesley said, "Thank you, I’m really troubling you."
Chloe Collins waved her hand indifferently, not saying anything else, and walked out of the hospital ward.
She didn’t go straight to buy food but looked around for a while, finally finding the doctor who had treated Wanda earlier.
There were no patients at the moment, so the doctor was focusing on the computer.
Chloe Collins walked up and knocked on the door.
The doctor was puzzled, as there was no indication of any registered patients on the computer.
"Doctor, I’m Wanda Wesley’s family member, and I want to ask about her condition."
"Wei..."
The doctor hadn’t finished his sentence when he accidentally knocked over a cup in panic!
