Chapter 517: Chapter 517: Stop Always Teaching Me Bad Things
Chapter 517
After that day, Aria Taylor started going to school frequently to meet Chloe Collins. Although their encounters were few, this did not deter her confidence.
This news soon reached the ears of Tristan Collins.
Tessa Collins was the one who told him.
Waiting for Raine Nolan’s Fragrance Alliance re-audition, Tessa had been staying at the Collinses’ during this time. Usually, she would hang out with her old friends. These friends also belonged to the same circle, so they knew about each family’s affairs.
Once the women got together, news was naturally shared.
As soon as Tessa heard about this, she wasn’t in the mood for afternoon tea anymore and hurriedly went to the company to find Tristan.
In the office, as Tristan listened to the full story, his face turned gloomy.
"Are you telling the truth?" He asked.
Tessa sighed, "I heard this from Mrs. Fowler and Mrs. Spence. They always pay special attention to matters related to the Fosters. A few days ago, they mentioned that Madam Taylor had brought gifts to the Fosters. These days, the Taylor’s granddaughter has been running to the school frequently, just to get Chlo-Chlo to stay with them."
She then looked sharply at Tristan, "You don’t really intend to let the Taylors take our child away, do you? You should be very clear about what they intend to do."
Tristan looked solemn.
Tessa scoffed, "Madam Taylor has no shame. She calculated the value of her two daughters and used them all up. Now she focuses on her granddaughter. If she really cared for her granddaughter, why didn’t she do something ages ago? She only proposed this after Chloe went to live with the Fosters. She is simply trying to establish a good relationship in advance, thinking Chloe might marry into the Fosters in the future. This old coot really knows how to calculate. She’s ready to accept the Fosters’ betrothal gifts on behalf of the Collinses’."
Tristan asked in a deep voice, "What does the child say?"
Tessa replied, "I don’t know. She might still be thinking about it."
"As for you, what do you really think? You surely can’t watch the Taylors be so arrogant. They don’t respect the Collinses at all."
She thought for a moment and added, "Actually, it’d be best if your wife goes to confront them."
After pondering for a while, Tristan said, "You go with Ruth to the Taylors. Ruth is too soft-spoken. She wouldn’t be effective against Madam Taylor."
"Aren’t you going?" Tessa looked puzzled.
Tristan lifted his eyes, "I have my own plans."

In the last class of the afternoon, the homeroom teacher Keith Grant spent fifteen minutes talking about the final exam revision points.
Chloe Collins was looking at her phone in the drawer, chatting with the medical staff.
[Medical staff: You’re coming this Sunday, right? I’ll come to pick you up.]
[Chloe Collins: No need, I will go with the team.]
[Medical staff: What time will you arrive?]
[Chloe Collins: Seven in the evening.]
[Medical staff: Anyway, you’re going to be here for a week. Why not stay with me?]
[Chloe Collins: I’m attending a winter camp. I need to be a well-behaved team member (Manually bidding farewell)]
[Medical staff: o(* ̄︶ ̄ *)o (Pacifistic smile).]
[Medical staff: With your grades, I suppose you don’t have to take the school exam. How about spending the winter vacation here after the winter camp?]
[Chloe Collins: Stop trying to lead me astray.]
[Medical staff: Have you ever listened to me? (Death stare)]
Chloe Collins smiled, replied randomly, then put down her phone.
Just as Keith Grant finished his talk and declared the end of the class.
As the final exam was approaching, students from outside of town mostly chose to have self-study sessions at school in the evening.
Robert Foster was one of them.
For some reason, he was determined to do his best in every exam recently.
So, he once again approached Chloe Collins for help with revision.
