Sophia was startled and immediately asked, "Were you the one who bid 5,000,000 earlier?"

Ms. Sanders grinned, "Mr. Foster gave me no budget limit; he only asked me to make sure to get the item."

Sophia asked, "Can I have a quick look at it?"

Ms. Sanders rejected her with a polite smile, "I’m sorry, Miss Spence, but I’m afraid that’s not possible."

"Just a glance."

"I have some matters to attend to at the company, so I should get going."

He gave her a nod and walked away.

Sophia was annoyed, feeling a natural aversion to being rejected outright.

She suddenly remembered she was looking for Chloe Collins, snapped back to reality, and quickly scanned the surrounding area.

After searching for a moment, she found Chloe Collins at the restroom doorway.

It seemed Chloe was waiting for someone.

Sophia walked over quickly and stopped in front of Chloe.

Chloe’s eyes twinkled with a hint of amusement, as if she’d heard a joke. She asked casually, "What do you mean by that?"

Sophia raised her chin, "I’ve already investigated and discovered your involvement with Milton. Yet, you’re still trying to seduce my brother Alexander. Don’t you think that’s shameless?"

"I have no intention of being your enemy, but I don’t want to waste time, so I’ll be blunt. I just want to tell you that no matter what tricks you use, the woman Alexander marries will be me."

Having said that, she turned around and was about to leave.

"What a pity."

This statement stopped Sophia in her tracks.

She looked back at Chloe.

Chloe said lightly, "According to him, the person he likes is me."
