He straightened up and walked towards her.

"Yo, your boyfriend’s here. I’ll leave first, let’s have dinner together some other day."

"I’m single," she couldn’t help but explain.

Charles Carrington smiled and said, "If you say so. I’m leaving."

With that, he quickly walked away, as if walking slower would lead to Alexander silently punishing him.
