By the time Chloe Collins left the laboratory, it was already 10:30.

She was holding a notebook with the latest experimental results from tonight written in it, the latest research formula for the LM Perfume series.

Basically, it was finished.

She wasn’t in a hurry to send it, thinking that she might have a better inspiration in a few days.

After closing the notebook, she put it casually in a drawer in the living room cabinet.

After washing her hands, feeling a bit hungry, she cooked instant noodles, just to keep things simple.

There were some dried persimmons in the cabinet, she took out two pieces to eat as dessert after the meal.

Ever since that time, persimmons had been added to her list of favorite fruits.

The doorbell suddenly rang.

Who would come at this hour?

As she walked past the French windows, she saw Brandon Spence’s car and him standing outside.

Sebastian Spence apparently saw her as well and pressed the doorbell again.

She frowned.

Opening the door and walking out.

Upon seeing this, Sebastian immediately took out three boxes from the trunk.

"Chloe, let me in first."

Chloe stood inside the fence, two meters away from him, her eyes cold: "What are you here for again?"

Sebastian Spence lowered his head and chuckled, seeming a bit embarrassed: "Well, I got some nice stuff here that I thought you might like, so I brought it over."

"You still haven’t given up?"

Sebastian Spence became serious. Seeing that she wasn’t planning to let him in, he simply opened the boxes.

In the three boxes, there were extravagant jewelry like necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and so on. Each piece was quite valuable.

At a glance, there were no duplicate designs.

Chloe casually put her hands in her pockets and asked indifferently: "Where did you get all these?"

Sebastian Spence took a deep breath and said, "Although I know you don’t lack these things, these are all things I’ve tried my best to get for you these past few days. Considering that I’m older than you, you can just do me one last favor as your older brother."

Chloe looked at him and suddenly smiled, a cold smile.

"You really don’t give up, do you?"

Sebastian Spence’s face was heavy: "That girl is my most dedicated patient, you could say that her life and future have been saved by me. If she can’t make it through this, my previous efforts would have been in vain."

Chloe was indifferent.

Slowly, she said: "What does that have to do with me?"

Sebastian Spence’s face turned cold.

"You... you wouldn’t just let her die, would you?" He said.

Chloe looked at him coldly: "You call saving her, harming others?"

Sebastian Spence’s face changed dramatically.

"It’s just... it’s just making him lose some memories, not harming anyone!"

"Chloe, you don’t understand the whole story. That guy was originally my patient’s boyfriend. Later, due to a quarrel, their relationship entered a freezing point, but my patient never admitted to breaking up. Then, suddenly, the guy married another woman. He didn’t love his wife at first, but she was so scheming and tried hard to please him. Now, his heart is completely with her. When my patient found out, she wanted to die every day. How can I not help her?"

Chloe laughed: "Did you ask for that man’s consent before you did this?"

Sebastian Spence’s eyes were sharp: "There’s no need to ask for his consent. My patient lost both her legs because of him; he owes her for a lifetime, even if he had to pay for the loss of some memories."
