Chapter 1725: Final Chapter: The Grand Finale_10

"Mom, what’s wrong?"

"Ah, why did it take you so long to answer the phone?"

"I just got off the plane."

"I see, I wanted to ask you, what kind of wedding does Wandy like? Does she have any idea in mind?"

Robert Foster said, "Oh, that matter, no rush, she said she wants to wait until Second Brother and Second Sister-in-law’s wedding is over before discussing it."

"Still, there should be some idea, right?"

"Mom, you decide, we are okay with anything."

The car arrived at the main gate of Capitol University.

Wanda Wesley had to delay her studies by two years due to a mission, so she now had to start again from her junior year.

When Robert Foster got out of the car, he covered his face with a mask, bought a bouquet of flowers, and quietly made his way to Wanda’s classroom.

She was still in class.

He smiled and entered through the back door, sitting down next to her.

He handed her the flowers.

Wanda was startled, then a smile spread across her face.

The surprise was a real surprise.

"How much longer until class ends?"

"Ten minutes."

"Excuse me, student,"

The teacher suddenly called out, and everyone looked at Robert Foster.

Wanda covered her face.

"Are you from our department? I didn’t see you just now."

"Teacher, he’s not! I’m sure of it!" said another student.

"Who are you? Here to audit the class?" asked the teacher.

Wanda raised her hand, "Teacher, he’s my boyfriend."

"No," said Robert, wrapping his arm around her, "I’m her husband, we got the marriage certificate!"

Everyone laughed and started teasing them.

...

The scene shifted back to the east wing of Feng Mansion, with snowflakes fluttering down, covering the entire garden.

The robot went to the second floor, looked towards the balcony, and saw Chloe Collins tending to the potted plants on the balcony with a pair of scissors while her phone was on a video call.

"I’m in Goldasia right now, they’ve received me, but I still can’t meet Liam Locke. Could you speak to him for me?"

That was Mane York’s voice.

Chloe’s expression was serene, her voice cool like a flowing stream: "I’ve always avoided meddling in his affairs."

"But he listens to you the most. He’s been busy recently with things related to the Valleys."

"That’s a different matter."

"Aww, Miss Collins, please help me out?"

With a slight lift of the corners of her lips, Chloe said, "I don’t involve myself in his love life. You, keep trying."

Just then, a phone call came in and she ended the video.

The caller was Layla Lowell.

"Chlo-Chlo, we’ve arrived in Australia."

"Have fun there."

"I’m telling you, your brother, this idiot, just got lost."

"Go on."

Chloe casually sat down, leaning back in the rocking chair.

"Well, we had just arrived at the hotel, and since we had enough sleep on the plane, we wanted to go to a nightclub to chill. He took me to a bar he knew, and shortly after we sat down, he just disappeared. I called him, and he said he got lost."

"Oh, he’s back now."

After listening, Chloe quirked an eyebrow and said, "He probably bumped into some old friends and was afraid you’d get the wrong idea."

Layla Lowell: "Hmm?"

After a three-second silence, she caught on.

Subsequently, Layla’s scolding of Charles Carrington could be heard through the phone.

Charles Carrington loudly explained, "All of that is in the past. I just happened to run into them and didn’t want you to meet them because I feared your misunderstanding. It’s true, Fishie, when I knew them, I hadn’t met you yet; they’re all history, and now I only have eyes for you! Really!"

"You’re dead!"

Despite the commotion, it was rather joyful.

Chloe hung up the phone and was about to put it away when the robot came over to her.

Handed her a red rope bracelet.

She wasn’t very surprised.

"Master, the mission has been completed successfully, and Mr. White has a message for you."

As the words ended, her eyes immediately projected a blue screen.

On it was the scene of Milton White just at the doorway.

She received that sentence.

After watching and listening, Chloe Collins looked into the distance, her thoughts flying.

After a long while, she slowly curled her lips, a sense of relief in her eyes.

"Initiate appearance adjustment program."

"Yes."

The robot nodded, and in an instant, quickly changed its appearance.

Chloe Collins asked it to go down.

On the quiet balcony, she caressed her belly, looking at the pure sky, humming an unknown melody.

The rocking chair swung gently, blissful and content.

Soon after, she turned her head and called into the study room, "Brother Xian?"

"..."

"Alex?"

"..."

"Husband?"

Footsteps came, and the man, wearing glasses and an indigo blue sweater with sleeves rolled up to his elbows, had wood shavings on both hands.

"Hmm?" He looked at her, "Do you want to drink something? Or eat something?"

Chloe Collins shook her head, walked up to him, and stared at the wood shavings on his hands, said, "Not finished yet?"

"Almost there." He smiled, wrapping his arms around her, leaned down for a kiss, but was obstructed by the baby in her belly.

Both of them laughed.

Alexander Foster had to bend over to place a kiss on her lips before he was satisfied.

He took her hand and led her inside to see the completed work.

On the table was a complicated and finely crafted wood sculpture, a birthday gift he gave her years ago: Starry Cloth.

It was a wooden carving crafted with her as the model, the goddess figure holding a mask in one hand and a beautifully starry cloth in the other.

On the cloth were etched her many names.

Primordial, Miles White, Lucas Hill, College Entrance Exam Score, Mastermind of Fire, LM Boss, Hacker Hunt, Fu... as well as the newly added Jonathan Brown, King Shareholders, and so on.

He said that with these added, it would be complete.

He also made two small statues of the children, and, a man.

The man and the children by the side of the woman made the statue, which once looked imposing and sacred, now also bear a sweet tenderness.

"Uh." Chloe Collins looked at the statue and suddenly felt movement in her belly.

Alexander Foster frowned, "Uncomfortable?"

"No, they’re kicking me."

Alexander Foster lowered his head, pressing against her belly, commanded authoritatively, "Be good, don’t upset Mom."

Chloe Collins laughed.

...

A few days later, the weather cleared up, and many people went out for a trip.

Today, the bookstore was exceptionally busy.

It was all because of the release of a comic book, attracting a large number of fans to purchase.

A student ran to the doorway and asked the owner, "Boss, I want Oliver Harding’s new comic ’The Real Boss’, do you have it?"

"Yes, just arrived, but it sells fast, so many people want it!"

"Great, give me five copies, I’m giving them as gifts," the girl said with a smile.

Soon after, the boss brought out five brand new comics.

She treasured them, carefully placing them into her backpack.

This was a story about a girl named Chloe Collins; upon its release, it garnered a lot of attention from fans.

It’s said that originally, the author planned to write about a woman named Clara Carrington, but unexpectedly, he was impressed by Clara Carrington’s rival, a woman named Chloe Collins, and in the end, he changed the story to hers.
