She looked at Cherry Foster, laughing triumphantly.

Cherry Foster was terrified, "Raine, I beg you, don’t hurt him, calm down."

Anders Spence had already been knocked out by Raine Nolan with a single slap and was suddenly lifted up and propped by her side.

She smugly said to Cherry Foster with a smile, "Don’t worry, after I take him away, I will send you videos every day to show you how I treat him, hahaha..."

She turned around and, supporting the man, jumped straight out of the window.

Everyone hurried to chase after her, but the speed of ordinary people was no match for that of the Mutated People; in just a moment, Raine Nolan had disappeared from sight.

Cherry Foster was in tears, desperately saying, "What do we do, quickly notify my sister-in-law, tell her to come back!"

Sophia Ford hurriedly said, "You’re confused; both her and her husband are now in Gelia, how could they rush back!"

"Call the police!"

While they were panicking and disoriented, Raine Nolan had already placed the man on a park bench.

She crouched beside him, staring at his face with satisfaction that slowly morphed into self-pity.

"If you had just complied with me from the beginning, lived happily with me, and not thought about Cherry Foster, none of this would have happened."

She wiped away the few tears she had, reached out to help the man up, intending to take him back with her.

She planned to make Anders Spence into the same kind of person as her and make Cherry Foster’s life a living hell!

Thinking of this, she immediately helped the man up, intending to leave him with Rosalind Taylor for a while, until she had a chance to probe the situation in Valleys before taking him there.

But just as she managed to help him up, her hand was injured by a sudden flying hidden weapon, and she quickly retracted it.

The next second, two figures suddenly leaped in front of her and skillfully snatched Anders Spence away.

These two were dressed in silver uniforms and held thick iron chains in their hands, resembling grim reapers.

Their facial features were similar but not identical, and their faces were expressionless.

"Another one found, take it back!"

As one of them spoke, the iron chains in his hands shot out.

Raine Nolan realized something was wrong and hurriedly stepped back, darting into the grass bushes.

They leaped forward, following in close pursuit.

Cursing under her breath, she decided to abandon Anders Spence for the time being; escape was the priority.

After running a great distance, she looked back to see the dark and silent road was deserted, shrouded only in mist.

Only when she was sure they had not followed did she breathe a sigh of relief and rested against a tree trunk.

It was then she had the time to consider the origin of these two individuals.

They looked very much like police specially tasked with capturing Mutated People, yet they were not wearing police uniforms.

Moreover, their expressions were very stiff, virtually nonexistent.

Furthermore, their movements and techniques were exceedingly agile, matching or even exceeding her own abilities as a Mutated Person!

After thinking it over for a long time, a sharp light suddenly flashed in her eyes!

She muttered to herself in a low voice, "That expression—that’s a robot!"

She recalled the two robots that had accompanied Chloe Collins years ago; their expressions had been similar.

Thinking of robots, Cloudscape Enterprise and Blue Power Enterprise immediately came to mind.

In the entire country, only the robots from these two companies could pass off as real humans to such a convincing degree.

Being related to Chloe Collins, she had learned about Cloudscape Enterprise’s products, so she knew about all the different series they offered. Upon reflection, she realized she couldn’t match the two individuals she had just seen with any of them.
