Chapter 165
Romelo Woods patted his forehead, laughing helplessly, "How much can you drink? I’ve never seen you drunk."
"You guys are just weak," she replied.
As she spoke, she leaned down to continue looking at the night sky through the telescope, but her thoughts were no longer calm.
Romelo Woods patted his chest, "I feel offended. Next time, we battle again. Oh, the car I called is here."
Outside, several cars slowly stopped at the doorway.
Romelo Woods one by one woke up those who were drunk, with the drivers helping them, dragging them, and carrying them onto the cars.
He also helped the two girls inside the room to get on the cars.
Within seven or eight minutes, more than half of the group had left.
Only Layla Lowell, Robert Foster, and Diego Willis were left inside and outside the house.
All three of them were sound asleep.
She was about to call a car for them when suddenly, Alexander Foster’s assistant came running over.
"Miss Collins, Mr. Foster asked me to take Young Master Cain and Young Master Willis away. You should rest early," he said as he handed her a small bag, "These are some hangover relief tablets. Mr. Foster specifically asked me to give them to you, and he wants me to make sure you take them, otherwise you will definitely feel uncomfortable when you wake up tomorrow."
Chloe Collins glanced at the car with that man in it.
"I don’t need it."
Maurice Willis’s face stiffened, "Please, Miss Collins, just take it. It won’t do you any harm. Mr. Foster is in a particularly bad mood now. If I can’t handle this, I’m afraid he’ll tear me apart."
Hearing this, Chloe Collins looked up, her emotionless eyes seemed to contain a trace of curiosity, "He’s in a bad mood?"
Maurice Willis nodded vigorously, "Maybe because he didn’t eat, anyway, he came straight here after work, and saw you guys drinking. He... doesn’t seem to be happy."
Maurice Willis coughed and cautiously continued, "It seems to be because there are a lot of men here."
He didn’t specify, but he tried to hint at it.
He was looking forward to Chloe Collins’ reaction. After waiting for a few seconds, he got a faint "Oh" as a response.
Chloe Collins took the bag and didn’t eat the tablets.
"Take them away."
Maurice Willis had no other choice. He bent down to help Robert Foster up and took him out. Soon, he came back in, helped up Diego Willis and tried to leave. Suddenly, he couldn’t help but turn around and say to Chloe Collins, "Miss Collins, why don’t you go and comfort Mr. Foster?"
Chloe Collins frowned, "What did you say?"
The assistant grinned, "Although men generally don’t make such requests, sometimes we want to be comforted too. This is just a little suggestion of mine. You might want to consider it. Maybe Mr. Foster cools off easily."
After saying that, he left with Diego Willis.
Chloe Collins straightened up, deep in thought.
After a while, the Bentley car disappeared from her sight.
Under the tree, a tall and lonely figure was highlighted by the light.
Alexander Foster looked over for a while before walking towards her.
His face didn’t look good, but it wasn’t too bad either. It was his usual coldness, but under the moonlight, the chill seemed a bit heavier than usual.
He pushed open the fence and walked in.
His gaze swept over the empty wine bottles on the table, then deepened with anger and helplessness.
Chloe Collins appeared calm, taking her eyes away and looking down at the telescope, "Why didn’t you leave?"
"How much did you drink?"
"Not much."
"Why don’t you take the pills?"
"I’m not drunk."
The man didn’t refute and already stood in front of her. His tall figure cast a shadow over her head, and the refreshing mint scent chased away the smell of alcohol in her nose.
Before she could look up, a warm coat was wrapped around her, shielding her from the cool night breeze.
