Chapter 1510
These words bolstered Clara Carrington’s confidence.
Her eyes twinkled with a cunning plan.
"Vice President, I have a scheme that could render all her previous efforts in vain and leave her with no retreat."
As she spoke, she flirted subtly with him.
Austin Thornton was momentarily intrigued, his voice light and breezy. "Let’s hear it, let me see, what brilliant plan is it?"
"Whether the scheme is good or not depends on if the Vice President is willing to help me."
"Help! I will definitely help! Of course, help! You’re my darling." The man’s laughter was unctuous.
Clara Carrington laughed mysteriously, leaning in to whisper something into his ear.
"At that time, you just have to insist that it was her doing, and leave everything else to me."
Austin Thornton hesitated for a moment before agreeing to her plan.

The summer heat was intense, the weather in June began to feel slightly oppressive, and students patrolling around Capitol University were dressed lightly.
Three months had passed in a blink of an eye. The graduation ceremony for the class of 2021 was upon them.
Chloe Collins had rushed back to campus from Orlando the previous night to attend the ceremony.
She had completed all her course credits two years prior and could have graduated early if only she had a few more months. But having been in a comatose state due to drug testing for two years, her graduation was delayed until now.
Early in the morning, Alexander Foster and Evelyn Thompson escorted her to the ceremony. The two of them sat in the auditorium, watching her receive her diploma on stage.
The microphone was suddenly passed to her to give her graduation speech. The two students who had spoken before her had prepared their speeches beforehand. When it was Chloe’s turn, she hadn’t prepared anything.
She didn’t have a speech prepared.
She was not the type to pander or say what others wanted to hear.
But when she wanted to say, "I have no speech," a warm emotion suddenly choked her up.
She saw the smile on Evelyn Thompson’s face and the pride in Alexander Foster’s eyes.
Scanning the audience, she spotted many familiar faces.
Shane Rocker and his colleagues from the laboratory, members of the Comic Innovation Club, and alumni or graduates from her major who had returned, as well as classmates from her department.
Her gaze finally rested on Alexander Foster’s eyes.
His eyes, tender as water, were filled with adoration for her.
She gripped the microphone and said softly, "On the twenty-first of this month, I will turn twenty-four. Comparing to when I first entered university at the age of twenty, I now bear a few more titles."
"Research Institute Researcher, founder of the Comic Innovation Club, developer of Cloudscape robots, and, Mrs. Alexander Foster."
As soon as she said this, the whole crowd burst into applause, with grinning faces looking at her. Some were cheering, others where counting other titles, such as "Carrington First-born daughter".
After a brief pause, she smiled, "None of these were in my plans. I initially thought of studies being bothersome. But along the way, I realized its beauty too.
What I want to say is, there’s no way back in life. You can only keep moving forward. Take a look at the scenery around you, cherish it, make full use of it, so that when you look back at this time in the future, you will have fewer regrets."
She nodded slightly, signalling the end of her speech.
The auditorium filled with applause, and the host took over, expressing his regard.
She returned to her seat with her diploma in hand, and as soon as she sat down, her hand was captured by Alexander Foster.
He leaned close to her ear and whispered softly, "Congratulations on your graduation, Mrs. Foster."
