The brief tension in the atmosphere immediately eased, and the group cheerfully entered the restaurant to have their meal.

Suddenly, a servant came to report that there was someone outside looking for them.

Chloe Collins faintly smelled Theodore Collins’ scent.

She told Alexander Foster something and went out to see who it was.

"Slow down," she called out.

Theodore handed her the bouquet in his hand: "Welcome home, sister."

Chloe looked at the bouquet. It was full of a Thousand Origami Cranes, each with a piece of Candy tied to it.

Suddenly, the young man hugged her, his voice choking.

"Sis, I knew you wouldn’t die!"

"Mom has already left me, you definitely won’t leave us again!"

Chloe was moved.

She didn’t know how important she was in Theodore’s heart, but at this moment, hearing her younger brother choking with emotion moved her too.

"Well, you are a big kid now, don’t cry."

Theodore nodded seriously, going back to being composed.

"Sister, I’ve learned a lot of things, I can now fight three people at once!" He showed her with some hand gestures.

Chloe knew he always admired Ancient Martial Arts and had been studying it. She was quite pleased.

"Also, sis, I ranked first in the final exam last semester, and I was also first in the weekly test last week. I didn’t let you down."

"Why is it letting me down?" she asked softly.

While they were talking, Theodore’s eyes shifted to something behind Chloe and his face became slightly uneasy.

Alexander’s expression was gentle: "Haven’t had dinner yet? Let’s eat together."

Theodore hesitated with some concern.

Chloe said, "I’ll find you and we’ll eat together tomorrow. Go back to your classes first. You have your evening classes, don’t you?"

Theodore instantly relaxed, smiling, "Okay, I’ll wait for you tomorrow!"

Just as he was about to leave, he turned to Chloe and asked for another hug.

It felt strange for he was much taller now.

He looked up and saw Alexander’s handsome face.

"Brother-in-law?"

Alexander gently patted his shoulder in a natural manner, "Keep studying hard. This is a gift for coming first. There’ll be more next time."

He took off his Wristwatch and placed it in Theodore’s hand.

He looked at Chloe.

Only after Chloe gave a slight nod did he withdraw his hand.

"Thank you, brother-in-law."

The Collins family’s Driver was waiting outside the gate, and he quickly left in his car.

After the car was far gone, Chloe looked down and touched the bouquet of a Thousand Origami Cranes she held.

"What is this?" Alexander reached out.

The next second, Chloe dodged him.

"Don’t touch," she whispered.

Alexander furrowed his eyebrows, "Hmm?"

He wasn’t allowed to touch?

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, don’t touch it; if you ruin it, it won’t be good."
