For two years, it has always been Alexander Foster who cleaned her body. Now, she can finally take a bath, which felt extremely soothing.

Outside the room, Alexander is setting the table, laden with delicious food, tantalizingly aromatic.

Chloe Collins sidled up to him, hooking her arm on his waist, "What delicious things have been made?"

A glance revealed a plethora of items.

A piece of pre-meal fruit was pushed towards her lips.

"Taste this."

She opened her mouth and took a bite, the sweetness of the juice caressing her tongue.

Alexander consumed the remaining half, the corner of his lips lifting in tandem with hers. "Is it good?"

"Hmm." Chloe grabbed another and popped it all into her mouth.

He passed the rice to her, "Eat your meal first, you must be hungry."

Chloe looked up at him, studying his facial features meticulously, the corners of her mouth slowly forming a smile.

"What’s up?" He chuckled lightly, massaging her hair, he asked.

The corners of Chloe Collins’s eyes curled up, "Do you know how frustrating it feels to be able to hear every day but not be able to touch?"

Alexander’s face froze momentarily. He knew what she was referring to, his eyes filled with empathy.

He put the rice bowl down, formally wrapped his arms around her waist, looked down at her, and tenderly murmured, "I know. Because I think about you every day. I fear falling asleep, worried that something might happen to you while I’m asleep. I was also worried that you might be scared without me by your side. Every minute, every second away from you is agonizing for me."

Chloe had initially just made a joke, to tease him, without expecting to hear such a heartfelt response.

She didn’t dare say that she was also terrified, terrified to death that she might never wake up again.

Previously, she didn’t consider the matter of life and death as very important, but after meeting him, her desire to survive became increasingly stronger.

She suddenly rose on her tiptoes and pressed her lips against his.

The man responded warmly.

A few minutes later, snuggling on his shoulder, she slowly said, "I have found Wanda Wesley."

Alexander was somewhat surprised, "You saw her?"

While munching on her food, Chloe contemplated, and then asked, "How much do you know?"

Alexander shook his head: "We are still investigating, but we probably won’t find much unless she is willing to speak. However..."

He paused, then said, "She appears to have been experimented on a second time. Perhaps her brain was damaged, and she lost all her memories of the past. She only remembers the Harmony Complex. Every day, she repeats the process of kidnapping a person and then returning them."

Exactly as the uncle had said.

Chloe frowned, "This repetitive behavior, could it be that it’s the memory that left the deepest impression? So even though she lost her memory, she would subconsciously perform such actions?"

"We’re still not sure." said Alexander.

"Does Robert Foster know about this?"

"He does not."

He said, "I had her checked. There’s no major injury to her body. As for other things, we’ll figure them out slowly."

"I want to bring her back for treatment." she said.

"That won’t work. She only listens to the orders of the owner of Harmony Complex."

"Oh, really?"

Alexander fed her a piece of meat, calmly saying, "I tried to take her away once, but it was useless. She considers herself a part of Harmony Complex. Only the owner of the Complex can command her; moreover, she won’t leave that place."
