Chloe Collins partially opens her eyes and she can feel him checking her temperature.

"I’m fine. I just feel a bit drowsy."

Alexander Foster made sure again before he finally let go of his hand, saying, "Should I not leave tonight?"

She chuckled. "Then we are no longer getting married tomorrow?"

"Of course we are," he answered, smiling affectionately down into her eyes. "I’ve eagerly awaited this day for so long. I don’t mind waiting for one more night."

He leaned down to kiss her gently before leaving a few minutes later in his vehicle.

Chloe Collins wasn’t alone in the house.

Layla Lowell was also staying with her for the night, mainly to make sure that she could watch over Chloe’s health at any time.

Layla planned to chat with Chloe for a bit, but when Chloe got out of the bath, she saw that Chloe was already asleep.

Layla worried about whether Chloe could participate in the wedding as scheduled the next day.

They had not expected this sleepiness. After all, this symptom hadn’t appeared in the previous two trial stages of the medication.

Now all they could do was pray for this state to disappear quickly.

Everything went as usual that night.

When she woke up in the morning, Chloe Collins seemed spirited.

Layla was relieved and said, "I thought you were going to sleep the whole day. Thank goodness you’ve recovered. Otherwise, Mr. Foster would have had to be alone at the wedding ceremony."

She said it like a joke.

Chloe Collins gave a soft laugh and looked at herself in the mirror.

As time went on, she went to freshen up first and soon, the team of makeup artists arrived.

All her close friends, Master Songya, Lilian Pearce and others also came.

Everyone gathered around chatting together while she was getting her makeup done.

Layla brought over a glass of fresh fruit juice. "Here, have some. You’ll need it, given how exhausting the day is going to be."

Chloe reached out to take the juice, when Layla’s grip slipped. Chloe moved swiftly to catch the glass.

She caught it.

But just as she was about to grasp it, there was a loud crash, Chloe had crushed it!

Everyone was stunned, even Chloe was surprised!

She was confident she was merely grasping the glass gently. How could she have crushed it?

This had never happened before.

"Quickly clean this up, Chlo-Chlo. Are you hurt?" Layla grabbed a tissue someone had handed to her and started wiping Chloe’s hand.

Chloe shook her head, "I’m fine; it didn’t s..."

Before she could finish, Layla had already turned her hand over. What everyone saw, left them speechless.

A few shards of glass had deeply embedded themselves in Chloe’s palm, but she claimed not to feel any pain!

Before anyone could react, the shards suddenly fell out on their own. Then, the deep cuts started healing on their own in front of everybody!

Everyone was rendered speechless.

The three makeup artists, who had never seen anything like this, were the most shocked.

"What... What just happened? How did it heal on its own?" One of the makeup artists asked, taken aback.

Chloe quickly regained her composure and said, "That was a magic trick I learned. How do you find it? Not bad eh?"

The makeup artists sighed in relief, "It was a magic trick! Miss Collins, you are amazing! There’s nothing you can’t do. That was incredible; we were scared. We thought you had super powers or something!"
