Chapter 1382: Chapter 1382: Empty Coffin _1
Tristan Collins suddenly lifted his eyes: "What did you say?"
He suddenly stood up, his eyes reflected a spark of excitement.
Theodore Collins quickly said, "I didn’t see her, it’s just that the scent seemed familiar."
Tristan’s face was full of shock, his expression overly excited.
After a while, he suddenly gestured for Theodore to leave.
Theodore said, "Dad, I was just speaking off the cuff, don’t take it seriously. I hope you can pull yourself together. I’m still here with you."
Tristan nodded nonchalantly, his eyes suppressing intense excitement and agitation: "Good boy, go rest, go."
That night, a sudden snowstorm blew up, the wind howling fiercely.
In the suburban cemetery, a middle-aged man was frantically digging up Joy Taylor’s grave.
Finally, he lifted the coffin lid.
The coffin was empty.

A week before the wedding, Wanda Wesley received a notification from James Cunningham instructing her to leave Grearon the next morning and start their operation.
That meant she was going to miss Chloe Collins’s wedding.
Chloe understood her situation, so she arranged a small party, serving as a bachelorette party and a farewell party.
Aside from her, no one knew what Wanda was about to do, so everyone thought it was a bachelorette party.
What amused her was that Liam Locke finally had the courage to take social steps.
Previously, he had agreed to join her small group, but he didn’t say a word in there. The night before the party, when she sent a message in the group, he unexpectedly responded with three words: I’m coming.
However, on the night of the party, she could not get in touch with him.
With the noisy music in the room, she went out into the yard with her phone to call him.
She dialed three times, but no one answered.
"My dear sister, why aren’t you going in?" Charles Carrington was slightly tipsy, his words laced with amusement; he seemed to have drunk quite a lot.
Chloe didn’t look at him and continued to dial.
Charles Carrington smirked, "Dear sister, our father wants to prepare your dowry and seeks your approval. He’s getting old, can you fulfill his wish?"
"Shut up." Chloe suddenly spoke sternly.
Charles Carrington asked, eyebrow raised, "Who are you calling? My lovely brother-in-law? He’s not here yet? Tardiness on such an occasion is too rude, do you need brother to teach him a lesson..."
Before he could finish speaking, his lips were pinched shut by Chloe’s finger.
Chloe frowned, her voice serious, "Never mind, continue talking, just tell me where you are first."
Finally, Liam answered the phone on the other end.
However, something seemed wrong with him.
"It seems that there’s an issue with Manie; I’m heading over now."
"Manie?"
"Yeah, she called several times and sent some strange messages with a location; I’m going to check."
Chloe nodded, "Stay put and wait for me."
She quickly hung up the phone.
Alexander Foster’s car was conveniently parked at the doorway. She strode out, scrambling into the passenger seat in a haste.
"Let’s find Liam."
Alex seeing her so serious didn’t ask further. Once he knew the location, he drove off.
On the way, Chloe quickly briefed him on the situation.
From behind, Charles Carrington was also following in his car.
Chloe was about to comment on his drunk driving, but realized that Layla Lowell was driving.
The car quickly overtook them and pulled alongside.
Charles Carrington smiled at her from the car window, "Sis, we caught up."
Chloe was about to tell them to go back, but decided against it since they’re already there.
