"My father’s illness this time was allegedly caused by Miss Collins, so I invited you here today to discuss this matter. Do not be constrained, as I am not speaking to you today as a queen, but as a daughter of the Yorks."

Her voice was slow and steady, neither rushing nor anxious.

Chloe Collins laid down the examination report, saying, "I beg your pardon, but I fail to comprehend your meaning."

The Queen said, "The Duke’s Mansion has been in turmoil lately. I understand it started from the marriage issue of my niece, Manie. As the saying goes, the person who tied the bell must untie it. I believe as long as Miss Collins is willing to help, this issue can be resolved smoothly, and my father’s illness can recover quickly. I wonder, Miss Collins, are you willing to do me this favour?"

When a queen of a nation personally asks for help, most ordinary people would probably fall to their knees in fear and promise to help.

However, Chloe Collins remained unperturbed from beginning to end.

Without much consideration, she said: "I can’t make decisions on this matter. If both parties are willing, this marriage can naturally proceed. I have never had the intention to snatch someone’s betrothed, nor am I interested in it."

Chloe sat from dawn until dusk. During that time, she could move around the palace, but she couldn’t leave it or get her mobile phone.

She was not in a hurry. She ate when it was time to eat, drank when it was time to drink, and rested when it was time to rest.

Meanwhile, just outside the palace.

The two Secret Guards waiting outside saw it getting dark and couldn’t help but get out of the car and wait.

"I heard that after she was summoned yesterday, she still hasn’t come out. It seems like Auntie Queen is testing her patience."

Master said, "And Alexander Foster? He shouldn’t be doing nothing."

Alexander Foster was taken away by Master Foster and has not yet returned."

Master smiled faintly and said, "At least Master Foster is showing some sincerity. Well, it’s not good to have a strained relationship. Send a reply to Master Foster, let’s choose a day to gather."

Mrs. York smiled, "Father, once the engagement is settled, it’s about time for the parents from both families to meet."
