Chapter 1190
The old butler acted quickly, immediately picking up the phone to make a call.
Just a few minutes later, he turned around to report back.
"Master, Tristan Collins is nowhere to be found. He said he couldn’t care less."
"Oh?"
"It’s heard that the Collinses’ little child is currently frail and unwell these days, so his mind must be completely occupied there, neglecting because of it, Miss Collins."
Master frowned: "Not a suitable father at all!"
"He’s always been like that towards Miss Collins. There’s a rumor that she’s not really his biological daughter, but the illegitimate child of Joy Taylor and another man."
Such rumors have been circulating for quite a few years, but Master has never believed them.
Because he knew Joy Taylor well and knew that such a thing could never happen.
And, if it were truly the case, Tristan Collins would never let it go. He wouldn’t keep the child around.
"Master, Tristan Collins came to see you because he hoped you could intervene and prevent this relationship. Both of you share the same thoughts." The old butler reminded.
Master clicked his tongue, quickening his pace: "Just arrange for Mane York to settle in."

The next day, Saturday, at nine in the morning, the weather was invigorating, an nice Autumn day.
The usually quiet tennis court in the East Wing was bustling today.
When Chloe Collins walked over leisurely, the first thing she noticed was Layla, her senior, chatting casually by the net. The people playing in the court were Charles and Alexander Foster, and off-court were Wanda Wesley, Cherry Foster, Raine Nolan, Jameson Spence, and Mane York.
Evelyn Thompson patted Chloe’s shoulder and said with a smile, "Enjoy yourself. If you don’t know how to play, let Brother Xian teach you."
Chloe turned her head: "Can I go back to sleep?"
She was awoken rudely early in the morning by Evelyn Thompson, to participate in this game.
Evelyn feigned severity: "No, it’s already nine. If you sleep any longer, you’ll be a lazy pig. With so many classmates here, it’s a good opportunity. Come and play."
She pushed Chloe forward and waved her hand, indicating her to get into the game.
Chloe moved sluggishly forward and leaned against the side, squinting lazily as she watched them play.
Seeing Chloe like this, Evelyn relaxed.
She turned around and saw, from a distance, Master looking annoyed. She smiled and asked, "Papa, are you satisfied with my arrangements?"
Master: "You’re purposely trying to create chaos!"
Evelyn: "How is this creating chaos? Didn’t you ask me to take good care of Miss York? I invited a bunch of people over to play tennis with her, isn’t that bustling?"
She wanted to prevent, at all costs, Mane York and Alex Foster from being alone together.
So, not only did Mane stay here last night, but Layla Lowell and Wanda Wesley did as well.
However, she did not expect that this morning, Charles Carrington and Layla’s senior would also come along.
Over at the West Wing, she had originally only invited Cherry Foster, but unexpectedly, three of them showed up instead.
But that didn’t matter, the more the merrier.
"Papa, it’s more lively with more people." She emphasized.
Master sighed, "Evelyn, you will eventually regret what you’re doing now."
Having said that, he turned around and left.
Evelyn gave a faint smile, but her eyes were deep in thought.
What could Master cguhr be hiding?
At the tennis court.
Layla Lowell and her senior were discussing academics, involving business management, their conversation was quite engaging.
Suddenly, a tennis ball whizzed past.
Layla narrowed her eyes and roundhouse kicked the ball away, safeguarding her senior.
The tennis ball was originally aimed fiercely at her senior’s mouth.
Her senior was startled, looking at Layla in a somewhat dazed manner. He was changing his perception of her abilities. "I didn’t think... you were so skilled."
His voice sounded unsteady.
