"Finally found you." Zoe approached cheerfully. She beamed at Alexander Foster and then turned to Chloe Collins, "Here’s the thing, a Mr. Hamilton wants to buy your painting. He’s willing to pay a high price. Could you possibly have a chat with me when you have time?"

Chloe was taken aback, she glanced at Alexander and said, "Sorry, but the painting already has an owner."

"Already claimed? That’s a shame, Mr. Hamilton is offering a very high price. Chloe, how about you paint another one similar to it?"

"It’s one-of-a-kind, there’s no other like it in the world."

Alexander remained silent, his laid-back demeanor was accented by a slight smirk at the corner of his mouth.

Zoe, seeing this, looked regretful and said, "Why don’t you reconsider, it’d be a waste not to capitalize on this offer."

"Sorry, I’ve made my decision."

After a few more minutes of conversation, Zoe reluctantly conceded, "Alright, if you don’t want to sell, I won’t force you. But it’s such a shame. Mr. Hamilton said he could go over 200,000."

Chloe handed her the keychain, "Teacher, this is the key. According to the rules, it has to go to the department for public use."

The Department of Automation lacked female students and the male students mostly weren’t multi-talented. Their performances typically veered towards comedy and they’d occasionally win minor awards. However, this was their first time winning a major award.

"By the way, the prize money is yours to keep. Make sure you hold onto it well." She glanced at the check in Alexander’s hand, her eyes shining with envy.

"Oh, right." Chloe took the check and handed it to Zoe, "I want to use this prize money to establish an Innovation Scholarship. I’ll continue to contribute to it, and we can negotiate the details regarding the quota and sum later."

Zoe was completely taken aback by Chloe’s words.

She gasped, rendered speechless by the surprising suggestion.

Alexander added, "The Fosters will also provide financial support. The scholarship can be named after her."

Chloe had no objections to that.
