His Mafia Prince
Chapter 81: Angel Baby

Chapter 81: Angel Baby

(TYLER)

"When the baby comes, I’ll be knotting you every time. I’ll get you pregnant the first chance I get." He leans in and kisses my nape. His hands stroke the bulge of my belly. "I’ll keep you pregnant for years to come."

"Do you mind if I have a say in the matter?" I ask. "Maybe I don’t want to be pregnant soon again."

He scowls. "But I want you to have my babies too."

"I know, I want that too," I say. "I just want to be able to tie my own shoes again. Being pregnant isn’t for the weak."

"Alright." He nods. "I’ll wait for just a little then I’ll knock you up again."

I roll my eyes. "What a lovely sentiment!"

He snickers and keeps rubbing my stomach then his eyes suddenly go wide. "It kicked. I felt a kick."

I laugh. "Yeah, it gets pissed off when you fuck me. I think it gets annoyed that we disturb its sleep."

I roll on my back and gaze at my alpha. He is so handsome. Even when his hair is messed up from a little exercise, he still looks gorgeous as ever. "We’re gonna have beautiful babies."

"I know."

"See," I roll my eyes. "Smug."

"I meant because you’re pretty. I wasn’t talking about myself." He says and smacks my ass as he gets out of bed. "I’m gonna tell Miles to get your donuts then I’ll go shower." He grabs his phone.

"The doughnuts will make my stomach upset, but I still want them though."

"I know. You aren’t just eating for yourself now. The baby needs the nutrients too. Its organs are developing. You need just as much food for enough supply of nutrients and vitamins."

"How much nutrients does a jelly doughnut have?"

"I mean, you need calories at this stage. Especially since it is your last trimester."

I narrow my gaze at him again. "You’ve been reading my pregnancy book again, have you?"

"Yes. I know what to do when your water breaks. I highlighted many sections about that part. I want to be ready, just in case."

"Maybe you should let Miles read it too. Who knows, you might just decide to outsource his help when that time comes."

"I don’t outsource you." He frowns.

"Don’t you even. I’ll be very pissed if Miles turns out to be the one to drive me to hospital on that fateful day."

"He’ll sure be the driver. I’ll be in the back with you. I’m afraid I’ll be too nervous and drive us into a ditch." He laughs. "Miles will soon be up with your doughnuts."

"You’ll be nervous?"

"Yes."

"Even though the baby isn’t yours?"

"I feel like it’s my own. I’ll be the father once it’s out."

"I’ll be nervous because I hear childbirth can be hectic. You’re my omega. I have to protect you."

"That’s sweet, Sasha." I smile.

"Is it?" he smirks. "You know, I’ll murder the doctors and the nurses at the hospital should anything bad happen to you."

"There you are." My eyes widen. "For a moment there, I almost mistook you for a nice normal alpha."

"Pfft...don’t insult me, baby."

I watch him disappear into the bathroom and I remain wondering how strange my life has become lately. I’m the omega of the leader of the Triple Triad Syndicate. Yet my life feels more normal than before I met Sasha. I feel strangely stable. How can I be stable after marrying a murderous ruthless mafia man?

I am though. I’ll take the win.

I have food, clothes over my body and affection whenever I want. Lucia and Jericho have given me a true sense of family. Even Miles who was cold to me for the most part has warmed up to me a bit. I’m more accepted and my days are full of laughter.

However, there’s still something that I fear, that I might eventually lose Sasha when he gets sucked up, I’m the violence of his world.

I once told Sasha about that fear and he laughed. He said that nothing will ever separate him from me, even death. That when the time comes around for him to be laid in the cold dark earth, no grave could hold his body down. He would find a way to crawl back home to me.

I must say that if there’s someone who can take on death and win, it’s probably Sasha Adonis.

"Ow, ow, ouch... my leg is cramping again." I lean on Sasha.

He slips his hand around my waist. "You’ll be alright baby, just breathe."

"Breathing doesn’t ease leg cramps."

"Alright then, hop on my back. I’ll carry you around the room." He snickers.

"Yeah, that would look so normal on us, right?" I laugh. "I knew I shouldn’t have let you guilt me into coming tonight. I knew standing for long would give me problems." I wince.

"It’s my birthday, you have to be by my side." Sasha sounds drunk. He’s been sipping on some whiskey that his brother got him for his birthday.

"I wanted to be with you," I say wincing as my calf twinges again. "It’s just that my legs have been cramping a lot lately."

"Okay. I shouldn’t have pressured you into coming still. Come on, let’s go home. Miles will drive us back."

"No, no, it’s alright. It’ll pass in a few." I lie.

"You’re sure?"

I glance up at him and I feel my chest squeeze. Even though he is dangerous, he is like a baby sometimes. He likes all the attention on him. He likes having his mafia pals paying him homage and dotting on him. I know that he deserves the respect. He works hard as the head just to make sure things run smoothly within the organization.

"Time to cut the cake, Sasha." Marie comes up around us.

"Alright, Mother." He offers me his elbow. "Care to assist?"

I ignore my throbbing calf and smile. "If you lean too heavily on me, we will both fall."

He offers his other elbow to his mother. "Come on, fam, let’s go adore me some more." He says.

Lucia eyes me. "He’s drunk."

"I know," I smile.

Sasha smiles sheepishly. "Yeah right. I am."

"If you’re happy son, then I am happy," Lucia says, rubbing his back.

"Tyler looks so pretty Mother, he’s so sexy, right?" he slurs. "My sexy pregnant omega."

I wince, and Lucia laughs.

"Don’t call me that in front of your mother, Sasha," I whisper. "That’s embarrassing."

"He’s shy, how adorable." He chuckles.

Lucia lifts a brow. "Yeah, he is really drunk."

The staff wheel the cake over. It’s huge, swirling with white buttercream frosting. The crowd gathers around and everyone lifts their glasses of champagne. I recognize many of them from Sasha’s father’s funeral. Much as they look grim-faced, they all seem to like Sasha. Over time he’s gained their trust by being a ruthless but fair leader. Mostly ruthless.

Most people make speeches wishing Sasha a happy birthday and prosperity. My mouth waters as I watch them serve the cake. I’ve been waiting for the cake all evening. The baby has me craving sweets like I never have. I sigh delightedly and scoop a forkful of the cake and just when I’m about to bring it to my mouth, I feel a swoosh between my legs.

I gasp and put my dish down to the nearest table. "Shit," I rasp, clutching Sasha’s arm. "Shit."

He looks at me, startled. "What’s wrong?"

"My water broke."

His eyes go wide and he freezes. "What? Here? Now?"
