The milky mist swirled, twisted in mid-air, gathering at the rise and fall of the sounds cascading around the hall. This mist coalesced into a vibrant display of mythical beasts.

Among them were coiling dragons, crouching tigers, unicorns, flying phoenixes, and many more. They floated in the air, smoke billowing beneath them, their scales and feathers emitting light, and their visages powerful and commanding.

Above these creatures were several ancient gray stone platforms that had silently anchored themselves.

The stone platforms hung in mid-air, reaching up towards the sun and the moon, down towards the dragons and phoenixes, serving as anchors for the hall and providing a sense of stability.

Several unfamiliar figures quietly appeared on the stone platforms, vaguely visible through the swirling mist.

Because their appearance caused no stir, it wasn’t until the professors and upperclassmen on the stage began to pay their respects that the freshmen in the first-floor corridor abruptly realized their presence and gradually quieted down.
