Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem -
Chapter 215: Welcome to the Flame Council
Chapter 215: Welcome to the Flame Council
Skybrand lay on the ground, her wings burned, and her breathing shallow.
Her body was covered in scorch marks, and the flame trails still flickered faintly around her.
She tried to push herself up but collapsed back down.
Her sword clattered out of her grip.
Blazren stood tall, his body still glowing with the heat of [Blazing Mane Shift].
The flames around him dimmed slowly as the battle came to an end.
He took a few heavy steps forward and looked at Neuro.
Neuro stood, watching from a distance with crossed arms and a deep frown on his face.
Blazren raised one clawed hand and pointed.
"With this, you can’t doubt me anymore."
Neuro didn’t say a word.
His visor flickered slightly as it analysed the data from the fight.
Blazren had just beaten one of the top AA-rank heroes.
And he didn’t even look tired. Neuro’s hands tightened, but he stayed silent.
Blazren looked at the other heroes standing along the arena’s edge.
Many had watched the match quietly, unsure how it would end.
Now they were wide-eyed, whispering to each other.
Blazren took a deep breath.
"All heroes. Come with me to the meeting room."
Some of them hesitated. Skybrand was still on the floor.
But one by one, they nodded and followed.
Neuro didn’t move at first, but after a pause, he joined the group.
They left the place and returned to the AA-rank lounge.
The atmosphere had shifted.
Blazren was no longer just an A-rank veteran.
He was now one of them—a new AA-rank hero who had just defeated a veteran.
The group moved through the hallway, quiet but alert.
Blazren led them to the end of the lounge where the large meeting room stood.
Blazren pushed open the door and stepped inside first.
"This isn’t just about ranks anymore. We have things to discuss—important things."
The other heroes filed in behind him.
Chairs scraped the floor as they took their seats.
Blazren didn’t sit. He stood at the front of the room, arms crossed.
"Let’s begin."
---
Blazren stood in front of the room, arms crossed as he looked around at the gathered AA-Rank heroes.
The tension was thick. Some still looked sceptical.
Others leaned forward, ready to listen.
Neuro was the first to speak.
"Now what do you want to talk about, Blazren?"
"Let me guess. You want to start making new rules now that you’re in charge?"
Blazren smirked and shook his head.
"No need for that. I’m too lazy to mess around with rules right now."
"This is about something more urgent. It’s about one of the villain groups."
Neuro tilted his head slightly.
"The Heavenly Demon Sect?"
Blazren glanced at him.
"Nope. Not them."
Neuro raised an eyebrow.
"Really? I figured you’d want to talk about them."
"I mean, me and Skybrand already got our asses handed to us by that group."
"They were strong—organized, too."
Blazren waved his hand.
"I’m not saying they’re not dangerous."
"But this isn’t about them. I’m talking about another group."
"One we haven’t paid much attention to until now. The one that Ratman was a part of."
A few murmurs passed through the room. Neuro frowned.
"Why should we care about them now?"
Blazren stepped forward and looked around the room before speaking.
"Because this group has managed to do something that should be impossible."
"Something that even we failed to do through official research."
Neuro sat up straighter.
"What kind of experiment?"
Blazren let the silence hang for a second before answering.
"They created a way to give someone a class."
"A real class. Through experimentation. Low success rate, yeah, but it works."
The room went silent.
Neuro stood up.
"You’re joking. That’s impossible."
Blazren crossed his arms.
"I saw it myself. That Ratman? He said he was just a test subject."
"That group experimented on him, and he got a class from it."
"A real, functioning class."
Neuro’s visor lit up as he pulled data and reports from the recent fight.
"If what you’re saying is true, then... we’re looking at something big."
"Even we couldn’t force a class awakening in our labs."
"Too many failures. Too unstable. No survivors."
Blazren nodded.
"And yet, somehow, these villains did it."
"That Ratman survived, and he didn’t just awaken—he got strong."
"Strong enough to kill ten B-Rank heroes and injure three A-Ranks."
"I was only able to beat him because I awakened my own class in that same battle."
One of the other AA-Rank heroes leaned forward.
"So this new group... they’re not just a bunch of small-time villains?"
Blazren shook his head.
"They’re something else entirely."
"They’re experimenting. Testing. And they’ve already got results."
"We don’t know how many of these test subjects are out there."
"We don’t know who’s next. What we do know is that they succeeded once."
"And that makes them more dangerous than the Heavenly Demon Sect—for now."
Neuro leaned back in his chair, still processing.
"If they can give people classes... that means they can build an army."
Blazren nodded again.
"And we wouldn’t even know until it’s too late. That’s why I called this meeting."
"This isn’t about power or ranks. This is about protecting what’s left of our side."
Neuro looked around at the others, his frown deepening.
"We need to find them. Fast."
Blazren turned to the wall and tapped the display screen behind him.
"Already working on it. I want full scans and reports from every zone."
"We’re going to track them down, and when we do, we take everything."
"Their research. Their labs. Their people. We end it before it grows."
The room was quiet again.
But this time, it wasn’t from doubt. It was from understanding.
Blazren looked at them one by one.
"This isn’t a warning anymore. This is war prep. And it starts now."
Neuro exhaled slowly and rubbed his temple.
"I still don’t like you, Blazren."
He looked up, serious now.
"But this... this is different. I’ll help."
"Just make sure you send all the intel you have. Every detail."
Blazren gave a single nod.
"Good. I’ll send it out today. We move fast on this."
Neuro crossed his arms, watching Blazren.
"If what you said is true, we can’t afford to fall behind."
Blazren turned toward the exit.
"Then don’t."
