HER ALPHA'S CARNAL SINS
Chapter 93: Alpha Daniel

Chapter 93: Alpha Daniel

Dora sighed and raised her hands In the air like a criminal in surrender, shaking her head like she just remembered something.

’How do I intend to find it hard to leave the pack if she stays.’ Naomi inwardly said and smiled when Louis giggled in her head.

"Huh?" Dora’s eyes twitched some more when she saw Naomi’s smile. "Goan get a car ready and waiting for me, downstairs."

Naomi’s eyes would have twitched as well if her decency was a lot more composed than Dora’s.

She sighed and was left speechless as Dora stalked away, her hips swaying in a seductive motion that left even her, stunned. For a few seconds, she just stood there and realized three things.

One, Dora had just avoided her questions and she as a common maid knew that pushing her farther to do so would result to her having a damaged neck or fracture or to her death.

Two, She had to find a way to stay away from her. This was someone who wouldn’t hesitate to expose her secret if Daniel doesn’t comply to any of her wishes.

Three, Dora could have picked any Omega in the quarters or mansion. Why her? Of course she had something planned up.

She was caught in a spider’s web, having no option but to be paralyzed and preyed on by her predator.

Refusing to go would result to the appropriate punishment since Dora was an Alpha’s daughter while she...

Well, she didn’t even know who she was anymore.

Then going would result to her walking into whatever trap Dora had set up for her.

Sighing, she turned away to get one of the Pack warriors prepare a car to take them out, anticipating the day.

Daniel, Marcy and Barton walked into aroom. While Marcy had an excited look in her eyes, Barton had a neutral one and Daniel had an anticipated one.

The room was pitch dark, and just as Barton was about to find the switch, the room was suddenly blanketed in a flood of bright light from various luminous bulbs, stunning the two boys for a moment.

They had their wrists up to their face, before slowly bringing it down, their eyes scanning to and fro as they admired the room.

"I... Is this my office?" Daniel asked, turning to his aunt who had switched on the lights and had been staring closely at him to watch his reaction.

She smiled proudly, contended with the anxious but awe look in his eyes.

"Yes Daniel. What do you think?"

"This place is like heaven!" Barton exclaimed before Daniel could utter a word.

Daniel frowned teasingly at him.

"Don’t act like you didn’t know aunt was doing this."

"He didn’t. Actually, no one did aside I and Naomi. We found out that this room was the farthest from the others and you could have your privacy in the office to work or study ... so we did some interior decorations and put in other things you might need."

Daniel was amazed.

"When did you have time to do all these?"

Marcy chuckled.

"It’s been a while but you should be thanking Naomi. She did all the work here. The interior decoration plan, even the color... everything... she planned it out."

His favorite color consisting of orange and lavender purple was used as the wallpaper color while a few paintings of his was displayed across.

Orange and Purple.

How did she know that was his favorite color?

He brushed the thought aside.

Maybe Marcy told him.

A rug covered the entire floor. It was so thick and evidently soft and furry. The table smelt of fine wood and a laptop and some files were strewn across.

A tag, Alpha Daniel, was lying professionally at the side of the table, glinting gold under the lights.

There were bean bags across the corner of the large office, extra swivel chairs facing the other side of the Alpha’s table and even a mini-fridge.

A shelve scenting of the same wood as the table was at the end of the room, waiting to be occupied with books and other office related items.

Lastly, a long couch of not less than 8 feet was placed against the wall, in-between the fridge and a round coffee table.

"...Even the door is soundproof." Marcy concluded after she had explained everything about the room.

"Soundproof? Does that mean we can’t mind link him when he’s here?" Barton asked as he got comfortable on one of the twin swivels chairs while Daniel stood still, his hands in his pockets.

"Aunt, please say ’Yes’." He almost fell to his knees begging while Barton shot him a glare.

Marcy chuckled slightly, holding her chest.

"Sorry Daniel but you can’t avoid the mind link unless you’re in some other pack, and that’s not happening for a while. Not when you haven’t even started school yet or looked into the affairs concerning your pack," Daniel’s neutral face hardened but she continued nevertheless. "You’re the Alpha now. So you have to be clear about your goals. You’ll make some decisions, you’ll make new rules for the pack and there are things you’ll start to take into consideration. You should be a go-getter. Work persistently towards your goals and never back down. Even if you stumble along the way, you decide if you want to get back up or not. Quiting shouldn’t be part of your vocabulary. I hope you’re aware of that."

"Yes Aunt." He replied seriously, all his attention focused on her, not noticing Barton who was checking out the fridge.

"... And Daniel," She gave him a knowing, disapproving frown. "There are several situations where you’ll reach new heights of success. It’s okay to feel happy about your achievements but not arrogant."

"I’m not arrogant." Daniel cut in, almost scoffing. He froze when he noticed two pairs of eyes on him in the room. "Well, I’m not!"

It was Barton’s turn to scoff.

"A quick reminder from me. Bragging about your achievements is not something you should enumerate as a lifestyle Cuz."

Daniel narrowed his eyes at Barton.

"I need to call Principal Matthews and make some arrangements. There are times you might be too busy to go to school so you might miss some days. We’ll need to make sure you have a study pal at school to help you catch up on missed classes. Barton can help you catch up on the recent reports and development of the Pack."

With that, she left, shutting the door behind her.

Daniel rolled his eyes, remembering the part about getting a study pal and turned to see Barton on HIS chair, comfortably pouring himself a drink from a wine bottle.

He sat on one of the twin swivel chairs facing his and crossed his legs over the table, putting his arms crossed behind his head and staring around, nodding in contendltment till he turned his attention back to Barton.

"Glad to see you’re making yourself comfortable in my office already." Daniel said with a snort.

"You mean OUR office," Barton corrected, filling another cup with the rich Velvety red colored wine. "Usually, you’re supposed to share this office with the Beta who’s supposed to come in here to give you reports and sh*t like that but since you’re not willing to pick a Beta yet," he relaxed into his seat and took a swig of the drink.

"We’ll be sharing this office. I mean... what are cousins for, right?"

Daniel snorted again but this time he said with a teasing smile.

"Why don’t I just make you my Beta then?"
