HER ALPHA'S CARNAL SINS -
Chapter 247: A night at a motel
Chapter 247: A night at a motel
"Well, Talia has a lot to make up for. A simple apology message isn’t fixing the fact that she didn’t raise the proper welcoming banner." John persistently insisted as the two got into the car after Jephthah helped him carry his luggage from the terminal.
"Grow up asshole. She couldn’t have chosen work over you. Besides, she had a really important photoshoot to get to."
John rolled his eyes.
"Is this Talia’s car?" He asked to liven up the moment in the car as he drew the seat belt across his body to buckle it in after Jephthah strictly told him to.
"It’s Ann’s" Jephthah casually replied.
John suddenly turned interested.
"Who’s Ann?"
Jephtaph’s frowned.
"Didn’t Talia tell you? I thought you agreed to stay with her."
John got further confused.
"What are you talking about?"
"Ann’s your roommate."
"Oh sh*t. This is her car? A Tesla? Wow. I’m going to be living with someone beautiful and f**king rich at the same time."
"Whoa whoa whoa. Don’t even get any ideas about Anna. Seriously dude, if you hurt her, I’ll.... "
"What’s up with you and Talia being so over protective about this girl. She’s going to be my roommate... "
"And she’s my girlfriend’s best friend" Jephthah turned to him with a serious expression. "If you hurt her, I’ll kill you before Talia does. There are so many other girls you can roll around the sheets with, but Ann is off limits."
John rolled his eyes.
He was going to tell him he’s found his mate, but how will he explain that he doesn’t even know how his mate looks like because he couldn’t even find her.
Even Alpha Kris his father couldn’t give him an explanation as to why he couldn’t find his mate, and it scared him that his mate was probably dead.
But how could he feel her scent getting stronger and stronger each day when she was dead as he presumed.
"Can we stop over for a quick Lunch. I didn’t have breakfast." John suddenly said, turning to roll down the windows and stare out to admire the beautiful city of France.
"Sure... How’s dad by the way."
"Work work work.. as usual. You know, I still can’t get over the fact that you were living with Talia in her hotel room posed as a personal guard so you’d spend more time with her despite the rules?" He laughed as he said.
"Idiot... you know I didn’t know about the rules. However I couldn’t stand to stay there when her reputation was at risk if they found out."
"It’s still funny when I think about it though... by the way, we still have so many to catch up on. Like the night you two found out you were mates and you marked her and then you... "
Jephthah blushed.
"Shut up."
"You have to tell me everything... I’m your beloved brother."
"You’re an asshole. Get down. We’ve arrived."

LAST NIGHT
Angela was prancing around with a phone in her hand while the other woman sat on the chair, legs crossed, looking completely unbothered.
"She should have called by now." Angela said in a worried tone.
"If she was really confident that she’d leave that cell gate today, then she should have called yesterday."
"They did raise reports on a missing criminal. I’m just worried she didn’t make it out still."
"Well, we wait till evening. Tomorrow," She stands and Angela raises her eyes to follow her movements. "We begin the plan."
As she walks out, Angela sits solemnly on the bed, staring at the screen of her phone.
Suddenly, it starts to ring with an unknown number.
*
"I won’t run away away.. " Andrew sighed.
Theresa calmly wiped the edge of her mouth clean with a napkin before tossing it to the ground and giving him a look.
"Get up. I’m going out to make a call, and I can’t trust you to sit still and not run around calling for help that in you’re in a psychopathic mentally ill woman’s possession."
"Well, if you put it that way... " On seeing the cold glance she exuded from her eyes, he rolled his eyes and got up, throwing his hands up in surrender.
"Fine let’s go... "
Minutes later, they were inside the telephone booth, and luckily for them, no one was around, so she was confident about making the call without getting recognize.
As she dialed the number, Andrew couldn’t help running his eyes over her body a few times without realizing it.
However, when she glanced up on feeling his sultry gaze, he pretended to look somewhere else, flushed from having caught staring at her.
Theresa just resumed dialing the number, this time he missed the smirk on her face before she raised the phone to her ear.
It rang a few times before it finally picked.
"Theresa???"
Theresa’s smirk widened.
"Have you been waiting for my call."
"Yes" The woman sighed like she had been holding in her breath. "You got us worried... actually I was the one doing the worrying."
Theresa wasn’t surprised. The other woman was just a mystery that none of them could solve. She just came out of the dark wanting to use them for her plan in which they each get something in return and that was it.
She wasn’t expecting someone like her to worry.
"Where the f**k are you?" Her voice was hushed like she was somewhere she was prohibited from Talking.
Theresa held the receiver to her chest and turned to Andrew who snapped from his reverie on seeing her intense gaze directed at him.
"Where are we??"
"Uh... " Seeing she was in a hurry to answer, he glanced out and read the location off the eatery’s billboard. He turned to her and told her.
Theresa went back to the call and told Angela where she was.
"You’re still in the OTHER SIDE... I don’t think I can arrive there before the night ends. Do you have anywhere to spend the night at before Tomorrow."
"Angy are you serious?" Theresa bit her lip disappointedly on hearing her words. She really hoped they’d pick her up, because initially she didn’t even have an idea of where to reach them in the first place.
Angela sounded apologetic.
"I’m sorry... but... "
Theresa found herself staring at Andrew’s profile as he stared out the booth.
"You know what... I’ll let you know if I’ve found a place to sleep for the night. Just... don’t worry, okay?"
Angela sighed.
"Okay... "
With that Theresa put down the phone.
"Give me your card." She suddenly said and Andrew gave her a blank stare.
"What?"
"Your credit card... " Theresa pulled out her hand and cupped it infront of him, instigating that he out it there.
"Why do... "
"I’m not afraid of killing you here, you know. I’d take the card and keys and run off anyways."
Hearing him curse as he pulled out his card, she smirked.
After taking the card, she opened the phone booth and like they planned, they went into the car, and she sat on the driver’s seat.
This didn’t go unnoticed by Andrew.
"What? You think staring that hard at me will bore holes through my head?"
"Why didn’t you tie me up like earlier?"
"I’m heading out to the middle of the road where I’ll drop you off and go my way."
His jaw dropped.
"That’s why you wanted my card.. a... and my car... "
"I’m guessing I could run it through by spending a night at a motel or something." She replied nonchalantly.
"But that’s all the money we have left. And that’s my dad’s car. You can’t just take it, and leave me stranded on the road like I’m some vagabond."
"I’m the criminal here, I’ll do what I want." She replied humorously and he bit his lip as he thought of how to convince her not to leave him stranded because he knew she wasn’t joking.
"You need my car to go to a motel where’d you spend the night right?"
"Yeah?"
"And you obviously called your friends to come pick you up, and I’m guessing the reason you’re looking for where to spend the night is because she can only come get you in the morning... "
"Get to the point. I’m not really a patient person."
"Look," He licked his lips as his hands trembled a bit, hoping she agreed. "I can follow you, okay" He saw her smirk but he continued. "I can follow you to the motel, then we can spend the night and tomorrow your friend can come pick you up, and I can get my car and none of us have anything to loose, and you’d be far off the city if you think I must have to the cops."
’He’s quite Daring’. Theresa thought as she turned a sharp corner, getting quite familiar with the road since she’s lived In the other side all her life.
Her father was a werewolf, but he married a human, and they ended up birthing a human as well.
She was that human.
"Since you’re quite persistent, and you’re using that brain of yours... I think I’ll accept."
There was am excited glint In his eyes as he released as breath of relief, but he froze when he heard her say.
"But we’ll have to share a room in the motel."
