Standing in the garden, facing each other with smiles and eyes glassy from tears, only the three men, accompanied by the bright moon and twinkling stars above were exclusive witnesses to the union.

Jephthah stood In between them, holding up a paper which he had scribbled something on, ready to read, clearing his throat awkwardly.

Royce and John, the only audience they had were seated on the log of wood.

"Come on, Jephthah." John urged with furrowed brows.

"I don’t think I wrote this properly. It’s missing something or otherwise... " Jephthah mumbled and John face palmed himself.

"Okay wait .. wait... I’ve seen the problem." With that, he pulled the cap of his pen and cancelled something written there before clearing his throat, glancing up at the two lovers who were lost in each other’s eyes before announcing in a clear, loud, audible voice.

"Today, we have gathered to witness the union of Beta Raiden of Crescent Moon’s pack and Liliana Diego of Crescent Moon’s pack."

Jephthah stepped back, placing the paper at his side.

Liliana flushed red with pride as she placed her hand in his outstretched ones, not in the least bothered that it was a cheap silver ring that wasn’t even theirs.

"What’s going on?" Tessa suddenly asked behind the couple (Joseph and Luan) and they shushed her.

"Just watch." Luan said with a smile and Tessa inched forward to get a better view of what was going on before them with furrowed brows. The brows parted instantly on realizing what was going on. A hand fell over her mouth in shock and her eyes turned glassy from the tears of shock and nostalgia that quickly welled up in them.

Feeling her smaller warm and slender hand in his, he wrapped his fingers around hers before bringing it up to kiss her knuckles, his gaze not breaking from hers till now.

"I choose you to be my partner, my wife, my mate, my everything from this day on forward till forevermore. This ring I give to you as a token of my love and devotion. With this ring, I will gladly marry you and join my life with yours."

Liliana’s other hand fell over mouth and she felt the ring go through her ring finger.

"I’m sorry... You’ve always told me that," he chuckled midway. "If we were going to get married, you wanted a hexagonal-cut diamond encrusted ring. I promise that... "

"Do I look like I care if I had an onion ring around my finger for a ring?" She snapped at him and the three on lookers from behind smiled like their audience.

"It doesn’t matter, okay," she grabbed his hand, tenderly wrapping her small fingers around his big ones, bringing her perfect lips to rest on his knuckles before pulling back. "What matters is that we’re together now and nothing can break our bond. This ring doesn’t signify our love, it’s the affection and sincere love our heart holds." She slipped the ring in his finger and she she said, the tears finally rolling down her cheeks again. "With this ring, I’ll gladly marry you and join my life to yours."

"Are you two going to kiss or not?" John suddenly said when Raiden had pulled her in for an embrace and they hadn’t let go of each other for several seconds.

The two lovers chuckled as Raiden cupped her face, pulling her face close to his, angling his jaw the other way before merging his lips with hers, feeling her grip on his wrist tightened as she pulled him close to deepen the kiss, snaking her hands around his neck to wound around, drawing his close, tilting her head the other way.

Everyone abruptly stopped, the couples parting when three more people began clapping from no where, finally emerging from the dark.

"Luna Tessa, Luna Luan, Alpha Joseph." Royce said, getting up abruptly, not noticing the broad smiles on their faces due to the guilt of what they had been doing. After all, they had wedded the two of them on Luna Tessa’s property without her permission. "I can explain... "

Luna Tessa waved him off with a calm smile.

"It’s okay, really," She turned to the couples who were holding hands and frowned. "I’m only angry that their union had to be like this."

Raiden stuttered immediately. "We rushed things, but we’ll have a proper wedding after all this is over." He turned to Liliana and they exchanged smiles. "I promise."

"Don’t forget to invite me then." The woman grinned and the lovers exchanged excited smiles. It was honor for a Luna or Alpha to personally want an invitation to a Beta’s wedding.

"Beta Raiden... she’s not your mate. Is she?" Luna Luan suddenly asked and the Beta turned bashful.

"Kind of reminds me of us." Joseph suddenly said, smiling as he entwined his fingers with Luan who looked flushed as her husband glanced up to explain.

after our wedding."

"Are you serious?"

"Really?" Echoed in the garden.

"Yeah," Luan sighed. "We had a wedding just like this one except... It was just Drake and Tessa, and we weren’t even home. We were at the OTHER SIDE," She chuckled. "It was so crazy."

"So... You two are mates?" John asked.

Luna Luan shot him a disapproving look with a frown while Luna Tessa just smiled, rolling her eyes.

Jephthah elbowed him.

"I don’t see myself falling head over heels with someone just to do crazy things like that." John said, turning to Liliana and Raiden. "No offense."

"You’re still young." Joseph stated. "You will find that one mate which the Moon goddess have perfectly created for you who you’ll climb the top of the mountains for."

John just shrugged, honestly finding his words a bit hyperbolic, turning to hand Liliana her bouquet, wanting to change the topic.

"Thanks." She smiled as she buried her nose inside, inhaling the sweet scent of the roses.

"Well, finish the rites of the union honey, toss your bouquet." Luna Tessa suggested.

Unknowingly, she entwined her hands with Raiden’s again as she glanced around.

"Okay... Jephthah, John, you ready?"

"Sure." Jephthah shrugged

"No way." John bluntly refused, but on seeing the glare his twin shot him, he sighed. Well, since they were the only ones, he’d make sure to support to two newly Weds.

Liliana smiled, placing a kiss atop the bouquet before tossing it towards the twins.

The both backed up simultaneously, reaching out.

Jephthah grinned as he raised his hand up, only to feel the bouquet in his hands, but as he brought it down, he noticed someone else was holding onto it as well.

Same as John. He had grabbed the bouquet, only to find out Jephthah had caught it as well.

Jephthah glanced down at the flower, imagining it as Talia before glancing up at John with a dark look in his eyes.

John calmly let go of it before stepping back, hands raised, recognizing his wolf, Jeremy slowly taking control.

"Dude, you can eat the flower all you want. I was just doing as you said." He said and others laughed, but they didn’t notice that Jephthah didn’t laugh this time. He just caressed the petals of the flower with his fingers before glancing up at John with a wary look.
