HER ALPHA'S CARNAL SINS -
Chapter 116: Lower
Chapter 116: Lower
With that, he got up, twirling his car keys.
"Get done with that stuff and meet me outside later. We’re heading out today, you know?" With that, he picked the files off the ground and placed them on the table before leaving, giving his younger cousin no chance to disagree.
As Barton made his way down, he found Dora curled on the sitting room couch munching on a snack while writing something on her notebook, the voice of a formal person explaining something sounding off the laptop before her.
He stood behind her for a minute and watched what she was doing with a sneer on his face. After a while, he bent over the couch so that his head was side by side with hers before abruptly removing the earpiece she had in her ear.
"Huh? Da... " Her smile fell and she yanked her earpiece pack. "What do you want?"
"You’re doing it wrong." He motioned to her book.
She looked back at her notebook before staring back at him with a smug look on her face.
"And how would you know?"
"Because I’m good at math."
"Oh please. You’re no smarter than me."
He crossed over and went round the couch, coming to sit beside her, leaving no room for her to adjust thereby, they sat very close to each other with no space between them but a thin barrier of their clothes.
"Hand me the pen."
She reluctantly did and bent down to the book to watch him write, a displeased look on her face. However the expression on her face slowly waned until only a look of awe and disbelief was on her face.
With a smirk, he dropped the pen and leaned back.
"That’s your answer."
"No way. Seriously?" She didn’t realize just how cute he suddenly found her to be as she leaned over the book, her small mouth, pouted as she scrutinized his workings.
"I told you you were doing it wrong."
She suddenly rolled her eyes and scoffed.
"If you weren’t dumb, why didn’t you opt to help me study and do my homeworks?"
"You never asked."
"Well. I don’t need to. From now on, you’ll be helping me study. I have an exam coming up, you know?"
"If that’s how you’re going to be, then no. I can’t teach a drama queen like you." With that, he got up, but she held his hand with her hands.
"Barton." She said in a feigned pleading voice, pulling out her lower lip.
"Don’t..." He suddenly said and she leaned back on noting the icy glaciers forming in his eyes. "...do that." He added at the end before walking away.
She sighed and got up, following him closely.
"Well, you aren’t busy now, are you?"
"Why did you assume that?"
"Well, are you?"
They got into the kitchen and her eyes darkened on seeing Naomi and it darkened more when Barton approached her and the two peered into something she couldn’t see.
"Is that everything?" She heard him ask her.
"Yeah. It’s everything you needed for the picnic."
"What picnic?"
Barton sighed and rubbed his hand across his face, slowly turning.
"Shit." he whispered.
"What picnic?" She asked again, her eyes narrowed, suspicious when neither of them wanted to answer.
"I thought she was going to be joining you guys." Naomi whispered to him but Dora clearly heard her well. The masked woman bent down, pursing her lips when Barton shot her a stern gaze which meant ’Shut up!’
"You guys? You mean... you and Daniel," she turned to Barton.
"Yes. We’re going out. Is there a problem?"
He didn’t want to mention Naomi because even she didn’t know she was joining them, and the last person he wanted to tell was Dora.
Dora folded her arms.
"I’m coming with."
"I’m not Daniel who’ll just blindly follow your orders." Barton started. "If I say you’re not going, then you’re not."
"Then Daniel’s not going. Because he won’t leave without me."
Naomi and Barton rolled their eyes.
"Naomi. Take the basket to the car. Daniel will be down soon." Barton said without taking his eyes off Dora, and Naomi was more than happy to leave, quickly grabbing the basket and hurriedly walking away.
"Are you done with your classes?"
"I can catch up on that later." She replied indifferently.
"This is an exclusive picnic for us cousins. If you’re deaf to not have heard me the last time then here’s the simple explanation."
"Daniel would know better than to leave me behind. He knows what I’m capable of after all." With a sneer, she leaves the kitchen while he glares after her.
**
It was morning and the sun rays from the window forced her eyes to groggily open. Blinking a few times, she tried to turn to her other side, when she felt an arm restricting her movements.
"Huh?" She was confused as she glanced down to the hand of a man secured around her waist.
Slowly, she turned to the other side to see...
A smile slowly crept up on her lips and she turned back, leaning into his embrace.
She had thought it was just all a dream. But fortunately, it wasn’t.
After a deep throught, she carefully turned, cautious not to wake him up as she finally faced him with his arm still around her.
Her eyes roamed down his barechest for a second before she finally lifted her hand to trail it softly around his chest, rubbing her thumb down the hairline that reached down.
Down from his chest to his stomach to his navel. She felt something warm run down her body, causing her toes to curl as she traced the symmetrical line formed by his hair.
Once she reached the navel, she went lower
Lower, almost close to the waist band of his pants...
Until....
A deep throaty growl above her head caused a gasp to escape her lips and in the next moment, she was pinned down the bed.
Her wrist was at both sides of her head, pinned down by his hands, and her legs were held by his, one knee was left between her legs while the other was securely by the side of her right leg.
"Koan." She breathed.
