Chapter 74: The Talk of the Town

Paul cleared his throat. "I thought it was just me. Every time you leaned over me and I felt your breath next to me on my neck, from the side of my face, my vent got moist. I denied my feelings because you were human and you were with Jonathan. My stomach would do flip-flops, turn inside out. It was all I could do not to run and throw up. I guess I shipped and went back to the workshop that night because after our last meeting I started to begin a cycle. It was irregular and I couldn’t explain it, so I wasn’t worried, but I guess the other caught me and he did what he did to me. I’m just glad you were there and you had no problems helping me out because of the way you felt for me. I swore that I would never mate or be mated by anyone, and I never dreamed it would be a human."

"But I’m glad these babies are hybrid. They will have the best of both worlds. I guess we need to get started if you’re going to get home to Jonathan."

"I don’t have to get home to him. He told me he’d see me in the morning, so we have all night to make love and hold each other and these babies."

William leaned over and kissed Paul’s luscious lips. "And I love this part right here the most—the most attractive part of you are your kissable lips. I could kiss you all the time, and I intend to as often as I can. So the guys at work better get used to it. I’m stopping by every morning to get my kiss from my Paul’s luscious lips."

Paul blushed. "It is nice, and I do enjoy when our lips meet. It’s like a piece of each other has joined. Just being next to each other is perfect."

"The next thing I love about you, Paul, is that wonderful fine Genman ass you have, because it contains the most precious part of you—your delicious vent. And believe me, I’m going to be deep in it making love to you every chance I get. I don’t care how big you get or how big those babies make your belly swell. I’m going to be loving on you every chance I get."

"Tomorrow, go to work as usual, but tomorrow afternoon I’ll come pick you up at work. We will go to the new house, our new home."

"What new home?" Paul looked at him.

"It was supposed to be a surprise, but since you gifted me twins, I’m going to tell you what it is."

"Jonathan and I have had a home constructed. Downstairs there are two nice guest rooms, each with a bath, a huge gathering room for the family, a massive kitchen, and dining area combined. Upstairs there are two separate master suites, one at each end of the house, and they’re built to your and my specs for our sizes. Between the two master suites there are four bedrooms and two full baths for our growing family. The children will have their own bedrooms, and there’s plenty more to fill if you decide to bless me with more children."

"Jonathan may never have children, but that’s okay because it is his life and I’ve never forced anything upon him. I met him when he was young. We grew up and were a power couple, not a homebody family type. I love him and he’ll always be with me, just as I hope I can always be with you and our children."

Paul was blown away. He didn’t know what to think. Here was the human sitting beside him with his arms around him, one hand on his stomach cradling the children, speaking of the future that he never had ever dreamed of.

Paul leaned over this time and kissed William, laid his head upon William’s shoulder. "Thank you. You don’t have to worry about me. I’m not going anywhere."

William ran his fingers through Paul’s thick hair. "Good, then you won’t mind taking my last name and being known as Paul Craig, my spouse and life partner."

Paul pulled his head up and looked at William. "What did you say?"

"I want you to become my partner and my spouse. I know we can’t be legally married, but I want you to take my last name so that if anything ever happens to me, you and these children that you carry will be taken care of. I had all the legal documents prepared already. All we need to do is have a witness and a notary, and you, the babies, and Jonathan will become my legal heirs. The company will belong to all of you. Jonathan’s in total agreement because he was the instigator of this. He thinks a lot of you, Paul. He knows how I feel about you—he saw it the first time I saw you."

"In fact, he’s the one that pushed me to volunteer my services as the baby’s father. Like he said, with his career he doubted that he would ever have a child, but as long as you have them, he will help you raise them as a family—our family."

Paul hugged William tightly. "Let’s go to bed. We have a lot of miles to put on that mattress before it’s moved."

And did they put the miles on it that night. Neither one could walk straight the next morning.

Paul lay on his side watching William as he slept. How could he be so lucky to have a man like William as his mate? Paul gently teased William’s right nipple, which brought a smile to William’s face as he rolled his head over and looked at his lover.

"Good morning, my love. I hope you slept good last night."

"Yes, William, I did, thanks to you. Yeah, I’m tired myself, but I’ll stop by and see you before I leave for the city. I have a meeting with Jonathan and the board. I’ll be back this afternoon and I’ll pick you up as we discussed."

"That’s fine. I’ve got a very busy morning planned. I have to lay out all the schematics and everything for the electrical grid for the upcoming celebration in the North Meadow. So enjoy you and Jonathan, be safe."

"Paul, you want to take a shower?"

"William, if we start that, we’d be late for our day, and we’re both kinda tired, if you know what I mean."

"Not me. Just being around you makes me horny. I can dive right back into that vent and not think two thoughts about it."

"That may be you, William, but I need a little break. My vent is still humming."

William laid a quick slap on Paul’s gorgeous ass and jumped out of bed. "Race you to the shower!" He took off.

Paul was still in the shower when William left. There was already foot traffic around the cottages. William waved at a couple of Paul’s coworkers as he walked off the porch and strode across the lawn.

A couple of the men shook their heads. "That human is trying to wear that vent out."

"Or he’s just keeping it stretched for the main event." Another one replied. There were a couple of chuckles.
