Chapter 55: Two Condoms and a Prayer [Bonus]

He turned to Ed. "You really live here? Just you in this big house? Nobody else besides your houseman?"

"Yep, just me and Charlton and the guard dogs we go to bed at night," Ed replied. "It was my inheritance after my parents died in a crash. I was 17 when it happened, and now I’m 21, so it’s just been me. It’s about time I shared my life with someone. And why shouldn’t it be with the cute Genman that offered me a blowjob for a meal and a place to live?"

Ed’s expression grew more serious. "You had your meal, and now you’ve got your place to live, but it’s going to cost you. You’re going to have to study and learn everything you can before you transition, and you won’t get any slack. Charlton will tell you to bust your chops. And don’t let his demeanor fool you—that old man is tough. Ed walked up to the door and opened it. Carter walked inside, looking at everything in wonder. A tall, thin man approached them.

"Master Ed, I see that you were out late again. What have you brought us—another stray?" the man observed. "Rackknars are one thing; they can eventually be tamed. But I’m not so sure about this young man. He’s a little bit rough around the edges."

Carter smiled. "You must be Charlton. I understand that you will help me with my studies and I’m to respect you, and you will not turn me over your knee and whip my ass like you did Ed’s when he was under 18."

The kid had him—Charlton couldn’t help but smile. "We shall run your bath, Sir, and make you ready for slumber tonight with Master Ed. I suppose you are sleeping in his bed with him. Feel free to correct me."

"No Sir, you are correct," Carter responded. "I will share his bed until it’s my time, then we’ll have to talk about the rest of our lives."

"Glad to have you, sir. You’ll fit right in the family," Charlton smiled. "Your name is?"

Carter held out his hand. "My name is Carter—CARTER. And yes, looks like I might be here for a while."

Ed was waiting in bed reading a book when Carter walked in wrapped in a robe. The young Genman walked to the bed, took off his robe, and slid under the covers. He snuggled up next to Ed and asked if this was okay.

"We can sleep like this, or we can sleep snuggled up to each other with me behind you, and I will not mess with your vent," Ed explained gently. "The position is called spooning. Us humans do it a lot because I can hold you tight and keep you safe, and as I show you love and attention, you will definitely bloom and blossom. When it’s your time for your transition, I will not leave your side. You will not be locked away in another room or anything—I will be there for you."

"And I can also tell you that only when you’re ready shall we carry our relationship forward and make it physical. Until then..." Ed turned off the lights and they slept.

Carter felt Ed’s body snug up to him and wrap his arms around the young man. He felt safe, he felt wanted, but most of all he felt something else—love from a kind person that wanted nothing else other than closeness and companionship, not sex.

Carter did a lot of growing in a short time. He learned extensively, reading every book Charlton could get him. He excelled in everything, and when the transition hit, it was hard on Carter and wasn’t easy on Ed either. They damn near killed themselves and wrecked the bedroom, wrecked the bed.

When Carter transitioned, he also came into cycle. "Please, Ed, breed me," he was begging. "Make me yours."

Ed would not, though they did have protected sex, and Carter howled when Ed mounted him. It was rough on Carter—Ed was well endowed, and he made sure to wear two condoms in case one broke. It was a damn good thing because one did.

"Make yourself presentable. Let the boy soak—I’ll get him some stuff, but he’ll be okay," Charlton instructed. "I know what’s up. I’ve known for years since he first got here that he’s Genman. I just hope you used proper protection."

"We did. We don’t want any children at this point, but sometime in the future you will be taking care of some hybrids—our hybrids," Ed confirmed.

As Charlton set the tray down and turned, he couldn’t resist adding, "Well, let’s hope they take after him because you were a little shit growing up."

Ed couldn’t help but laugh because he was a little shithead—he gave poor Charlton the blues every chance he got.

Shall we move to the country and onto our ranch? But it would only be in cooperation with Mr. Zach."

"I think Charlton’s going to love a sudden move to the country," Carter smiled. "A city boy like him." He chuckled.
