Chapter 102: Marriage Vows Don’t Cover This

Emma could not believe the archival records that she was reading—it spoke of humans, it spoke of hybrids, it spoke of Genmen and the originals from the planet that they landed on. This was amazing, in fact this was a game changer that some people might want to stop from ever coming out.

She conveyed this to Carter. Carter agreed but it still had to come out and it had to be put in the museum, but to do that they would still need an encryption system that Ty would build and a security force around the main systems computer.

"So now you see why you’re so important to us—you and Leo are both bound in Genmen society for over 1000 years. Your coming has been foretold. And we need to sit Leo down and talk to him," Carter looked at Emma.

"That’s my job—you have informed Emma so she can tell her husband about her condition, but I must introduce Leo to Max so that Erin can be born or we will all fade away into the past," Reggie remarked.

"Well I guess that’s my cue. I need to take Mr. smarty-pants over here back to the house, call Ben and have them bring Leo over so that he can meet Max who is waiting on him."

"First I need to sit down with my husband and talk with him—the truth has been hidden too long and he needs to know what transpired in that surgical suite, how my future was changed by the past so that the chosen one could come," Emma cleared her throat.

"After you tell Leo and he goes to meet Max, I wish for you to come back and me and you will sit down with Tim that way you can learn more about Genmen physiology and what makes them different from human males. We can also talk about Genmen females and what kind of unscrupulous bitches they really are," Carter remarked.

Emma went with Claude and Reggie to find Ben and the other guys so that they could inform Leo of his future.

Reggie was insistent that Emma meet with Max before Leo did so that they could see that there was nothing but harmony and peace between the two. Reggie introduced Emma and Max and left them in the room to themselves so that they could speak.

"I meant no disrespect to you or to your marriage by asking this of your husband Leo, but if Erin is to be born he must have your husband’s DNA coursing through his veins. I thought Ben was to be the father of Erin but now I find that is not the truth. He is to be a brother to all, not just one or two. I am to stay with your family so that he may protect his sister Allison, since she has partaken of the Genman nectar from other Genmen she will gain knowledge far beyond that of any mortal human and she must be protected at all cost. Erin said that it’s in the prophecies foretold over 1000 years ago. If your husband does not lie with me and share his DNA, Erin will have to go away and I will cease to exist and maybe if we survive in another thousand years he shall return."

"Max, Leo is a kind and gentle man. When this is all explained to him, he will do the right thing by everyone—you have nothing to fear from him," Emma smiled.

"Now I ask you, does it hurt when a human mates with you? I don’t know nothing about them and I’ve just found out recently what it felt like for a Genman to be on top of me—it was not what I had planned but Erin had other plans for my body. He has told me after he leaves my body, I shall help build your family to make it strong by birthing more offspring for your husband Leo."

"Max, I can assure you that Leo is the most kind and gentle lover that you will ever have. As far as a human mating with you, he will never hurt you—he will take you gently and make love to you. He will never force you and will not, as you say, breed you. He will only conceive a child with you in love. He won’t leave you, that’s for sure, and he’ll make you part of our family. I need to talk to my husband about everything and explain to him about you and Erin waiting on him." Emma kissed Max’s forehead, stroked his face and left the room.

Emma walked out the room and onto the porch only to find the men had arrived. Leo was on cloud nine—he was excited beyond belief, he couldn’t wait until Allison was released so they could start their lives here in their new home and he would have a job.

"Excuse me Mr. Zack, I need to speak to Leo in private. Is there somewhere that we can sit down and have a conversation just me and him without prying ears or little mouths chattering away?"

"Let’s go to the main house and you can go to my private library. I’ll have Ty clear everyone out and make it private for you so you can have a discussion with your husband about future events," Zack smiled.

Emma walked into the library with Leo. Zack closed the door and told Ty to stand guard—no one was to enter and disturb his guests. They would come out when they were through.

Emma sat down beside her husband and took his hand in hers, and then she started. As she spoke, Leo started to break down. He hugged his wife and kissed her and hugged her some more. It was when she started speaking of the prophecy and Max that he pulled away and stared at his wife in amazement but in disbelief.

Leo couldn’t understand about this sign that she kept on talking about—that he would have Erin, and that he should bed a Genman called Max. She suggested that he needed to sleep with someone else besides her. She was his wife—he promised to be faithful to her only. Leo stood up, he shook his head, he walked the room. He could not believe the words that were coming out of his wife’s mouth. He got quite heated between the two of them.

"I’m going back to the hospital to be with our daughter. You will stay here and you will do what is needed to preserve that child—his son that you will have, the son that will bring forth everyone out of the darkness into the light. Don’t even come to the hospital until you’ve done this, husband. We will be okay—the visionary has foretold this and believe me when you hear the visionary you will know everything. But do what you have to do," Emma finally said.

Emma opened the door and walked out and went to Zack’s office. "Mr. Zack, he is all yours or should I say Max’s—he doesn’t know it yet but he is supposed to do great work. Maybe you can share your knowledge with him, since you’ve lived with the Genmen for over 20 years maybe you can convince him. I’m going to Carter’s and him and I will have a nice relaxing conversation with your adopted son Tim, who by the way is a gorgeous hunk, and then I’ll return to the city to be with your grandson and his mate and our daughter. As soon as Allison is cleared and can leave the hospital and the home is ready, we’re moving in, and make sure Max has his own room so he’s comfortable at the house."

"Robbie’s already working on that—he has drawn new plans up for an additional two rooms, one with a private bath so the three of you and Allison will be quite comfortable until Erin arrives," Zack smiled.

Emma hugged Zack’s neck and took off for Ed and Carter’s home.
