Help! I Became A Guy In A BL Novel!
Chapter 69: Your Eyes

Chapter 69: Your Eyes

Riven’s hands dug deeper into the sheets as he experienced the pain of the smack. Should he laugh or cry? He brought this upon himself. Anyone would have told him not to mess with the yandere!

But Riven thought he was special. Why else was he here? Of all people why was he selected to take over Riven’s body? Therefore, his mission in life is not to make changes to the barely existing plot in the BL smut he used to read, his life mission is to totally insert himself... Pun very much intended... Into the story and take all the male leads for himself!

Just as he was coming to terms with how long this could go on before this ice block of a yandere could warm up to him, he felt Soren’s arms reach for under his thighs and then climb higher until they were under his butt.

Riven licked his lips in anticipation. Even when he was literally cockblocked, he couldn’t help but think how far this would go. He did not have the option to refuse, he might as well play an active role in this session.

Was he going to be teased again? He felt his lower body being lifted and his tail rudely pushed to the side. Still, that did not stop him from aiming his tail at Soren’s hands and curling around it.

Another soft thud before Riven sank into a pillow that Soren placed beneath him. Probably to... Get a better angle. Soren did not like doing it from behind, he relished seeing the expressions on his prey.

Soren’s fingers moved with an almost unbearable slowness as he loosened the blindfold around Riven’s eyes. The soft fabric slid away, and for a moment, everything was blinding—too bright, too sharp after the darkness he had been plunged into.

Riven blinked rapidly to adjust to the light, though the room was dim, it was still brighter than what he was used to.

Riven sucked in a breath, momentarily stunned. The man in front of him was... beautiful, in the most terrifying way.

Dark blond hair fell messily over his forehead, slightly damp with sweat as if he had exerted himself and still managed to look devastatingly composed.

His black eyes, depthless and unreadable, were pinned on Riven with an intensity that sent a shiver down his spine. Those eyes—so dark they seemed endless—held something dangerous within them, something possessive, something utterly consuming.

And then there was his body.

Riven’s gaze trailed downward, over the sharp angles of Soren’s jaw, past his collarbones, down to the expanse of bare muscle.

His body was sculpted like a predator built for power. Was there any difference between him and Ronan? Yes, Ronan was built a big bigger, he was the wolf alpha... While Soren, the snow leopard shifter looked like a stealth animal that strikes with precision, brute force was not its thing.

Broad shoulders, a defined chest, and toned arms that looked strong enough to shatter him if they wanted to. Every inch of him was carved in a way that demanded attention, and admiration.

Riven swallowed. His ears twitched, his tail betraying him with a nervous flick. He was attracted, undeniably—but there was something just as alarming as there was appealing. Soren didn’t just look at him. He watched him and studied every reaction with that intense eerie look.

Soren’s sharp black eyes locked onto Riven’s face, scrutinising every detail. His smirk slowly faded.

His gaze, so intense and calculating, was enough to make Riven’s heartbeat stutter. But it wasn’t the usual cold amusement that lingered in those eyes—no, it was something else. Something that irritated Soren. Riven did not understand this though.

His heart still raced with nervousness.

Riven’s emerald eyes, still shimmering from the tears, stared back at him.

The remnants of those tears clung to his lashes, glistening under the dim light of the room. His skin was slightly flushed, and his lips, still tingling from their previous kiss, were parted as he struggled to regulate his breathing.

Soren’s frown deepened.

He hadn’t expected this sight. Riven looked... Innocent. It was infuriating. He regretted it a little.

The wet streaks on his cheeks made something coil uncomfortably in Soren’s chest.

And yet, that sickening, nagging thought whispered in the back of his mind: He looks just like—

Soren clenched his jaw. No. He refused to finish that thought.

He wasn’t like her. He would never be like her.

Still, the frustration didn’t go away. The sight of those tears made something primal stir in him. An irritation that wouldn’t fade, a need to erase them, or erase the feeling that hounded him.

Without thinking, he moved closer.

Riven, sensing the shift in the air, felt his breath hitch. There was something dangerous about the way Soren leaned in, something unreadable in those dark eyes. His entire body tensed as he awaited what was to come next.

Then, instead of pressing their lips together like Riven expected, Soren’s tongue flicked out—tracing along the damp trail of tears near his eye.

Riven sucked in a sharp breath, shocked by the strange, almost intimate sensation.

The warmth of Soren’s tongue against his skin, the slow deliberate way he cleaned away the moisture—it made Riven’s mind short-circuit. It wasn’t a rough or violent touch, nor was it gentle. It was... Full of frustration.

Soren barely registered the salty taste on his tongue before disgust curled in his stomach. He hated it. He hated everything about this—how natural it felt, how instinctive it was to wipe those tears away, how deeply it reminded him of the past.

His grip on Riven’s jaw tightened ever so slightly.

For the briefest moment, something fragile cracked inside of him.

The chains clinked softly as Riven shifted beneath him. His emerald eyes fluttered shut, and Soren watched as the half-breed allowed him to do as he pleased—completely surrendering to his touch.

Riven knew that this was why Soren was so addictive. He was so soft and gentle but just as rough and cruel, this would have put off some people, but not him. He wanted more.
