Chapter 56: Serve Me
Chapter 56: Serve Me
With a sudden sharp inhale, Xavier ripped himself away.
His heart was pounding, his mind spinning.
What the hell had he just done?
Riven, still pressed against the bars, let out a shaky breath. His lips were swollen, his eyes dazed, his entire body humming with satisfaction. "Why did we stop?"
Xavier clenched his fists, forcing himself to step back.
His entire body ached.
His instincts screamed at him to do it again.
But he had already lost too much control.
This was wrong.
He was just a guard. Riven was a prisoner.
This could never happen again.
"...Go to sleep," Xavier muttered, voice hoarse.
Xavier’s breath was still uneven, his chest rising and falling in sharp, controlled motions as he forced himself to turn away. He couldn’t face Riven.
He couldn’t risk it.
His hands clenched into fists at his sides, his entire body thrumming with unspent energy.
What the hell was wrong with him?
He had always been a man of discipline, of control. He prided himself on never allowing emotions to dictate his actions.
But now?
Now, he was afraid to even look back.
Riven was still there, still writhing, still burning. His scent was thick, intoxicating, pushing against Xavier’s will like waves eroding stone.
He needed to get out of here.
Now.
But his feet wouldn’t move.
His body was betraying him in ways he didn’t understand, in ways that made him feel weak.
Riven wasn’t his to take.
He was Soran’s possession.
That thought alone should have been enough to snap him out of it. But it wasn’t.
Behind him, he could still hear Riven’s breathing—heavy, desperate. He was still trying to find relief, still suffering.
Xavier’s fingers twitched at the sound.
His instincts demanded that he turn around, that he help, that he claim.
No.
No, he couldn’t.
He wouldn’t.
Meanwhile, Riven gritted his teeth, he was getting desperate for a release. He needed to focus. He needed to think of something—anything—to kill the fire in his blood.
Something unpleasant.
Something revolting.
Julius.
His stepbrother.
The mere thought of that selfish, arrogant bastard sent a sharp sting through his thoughts.
Julius—who always looked down on him.
Julius—who sneered at him every chance he got.
Julius—who made his childhood a nightmare.
Though it was not he who had gone through those experiences, he still had the memories. And that alone was enough to fill him with rage.
It worked.
A little.
His spoiled, self-important attitude.
His disgusting way of speaking.
His snide comments.
His grip loosened. His breathing evened out slightly.
But it still wasn’t enough, Julius was an asshole but he was also kind of hot and Riven was the furthest thing from rational in his usual state, forget when he was horny.
Xavier squeezed his eyes shut, his jaw locking painfully tight.
This couldn’t continue.
He had to leave.
He had to get away before he did something he’d regret.
Forcing every muscle in his body to obey, Xavier took a slow, deliberate step toward the exit.
But even then—he could still feel Riven’s eyes on his back.
And that damned smirk he was surely hiding.
"You... You need to help, or else I will be in pain..." Riven whined. He craved a release. He needed Xavier right now but this man was turning him away. How determined was he to stay away from him? Even Riven was shocked. He was a pretty boy! He should be able to get the hot men!
Xavier’s eyes narrowed, he could feel his own desires running rampant. He did not know much about wolves other than how to kill them. He was only an expert in that region, would he truly be hurt if his heat did not get relieved? This was something he did not want to believe but it seemed possible.
His jaw clenched as he relented, he turned around to see Riven on the floor, curled up like a ball. His face was blooming with redness, and his eyes were watery, begging for a release. What happened to the naughty wolf from earlier? Was he really affected by this bodily function?
His hands were still tied behind him, Xavier had been careful with the bindings but they threatened to pierce into his skin because of how restless he was. Riven was annoyed... At least if he was not bound, he would have relieved himself but since he was, he had no choice but to ask for help.
He was fully prepared to let this bodyguard serve him.
Taking a deep breath, Xavier unlocked the gate. The sound of the clanking metal made him feel on guard, it did not help that Riven’s pheromones made him feel... Just as horny. He would not admit it, he would not dare to.
He scooped up the young wolf, feeling Riven’s body heat on his skin, made something down there move. Still, he needed to exercise self-control, he would help relieve this wolf... His master always liked his possessions without a scratch... Therefore... He could only use his hands.
Riven responded to Xavier’s scent. He was completely down bad, and Xavier smelled of coffee and whiskey like a mature man should, and after experiencing what he did with Ronan, he wanted a mature man right now.
Xavier felt Riven’s warm breath landing on his chest, it felt tantalising, he felt the urge to take his lips again. How could he be affected this much? He had been asking himself the same question repeatedly...
Abstinence was something he practiced with ease. He was like a mountain, nothing moved him... Not until now.
As he placed Riven on the bed, his eyes moved... They landed on the clearly bulging area down below. He swallowed, he experienced something similar right now, but he did not have the luxury of a release.
In a swift motion, he freed it from the pants, it felt a bit weird knowing that these were his clothes, he helped Riven get dressed earlier, and now he was undoing it. Xavier smirked, it was out of character. Riven’s length seemed to perfectly fit in his large hands.
