Heavenly Harem Sect -
Chapter 262 - 262: Sudden Visitor
[: 3rd POV :]
Hours later as Daniel was lost in contemplation, he was floating in the sky with his eyes scanning the vast expanse of his majestic city below.
The amalgamation of 160 cities had transformed into a breathtaking spectacle that extended as far as the eye could see.
The land beneath resembled a harmonious blend that was uniquely their own.
The sheer size of the city is now comparable to a small continent.
It just shows how much influence Daniel had.
As he surveyed the sprawling landscape, he couldn't help but marvel at the magnitude of his accomplishments.
The once-scattered cities now stood united under the banner of the Heavenly Harem Sect.
His thoughts drifted to the future ahead.
The alliance of master cities posed an insignificant threat, and the concerns raised by Elizabeth about managing the growing sect lingered in his mind.
However, soon enough, he will conquer the Continent before he moves on to the next continent, and one day, the world itself will be ruled by his Heavenly Harem Sect.
And that future is not far.
However, all of a sudden, Daniel sensed the void around him starting to vibrate.
He frowned, immediately aware that there were unwanted visitors.
Although he could have just wiped them out, he wanted to see which fools dared to enter his city without his permission.
Moments later, the void shattered, revealing Ten formidable cultivators.
They stood menacingly in their black robes, an imposing sight against the vibrant backdrop of the Heavenly Harem Sect.
Their attire, dark as the void, seemed to absorb the surrounding light, giving them an otherworldly aura.
Their faces were partially obscured by hoods, casting shadows over their expressions, leaving only glimpses of fanatical eyes gleaming with killing intent.
Each of them bore an intricate insignia on their robes that represented a certain organization.
As they emerged from the shattered void, their eyes scanned the vast expanse of the Heavenly Harem Sect.
The leader, a stern figure with a commanding presence, surveyed the floating city below.
A voice among them, questioned with uncertainty, "Is this the place?"
The leader, nodding with conviction, responded.
"Indeed. This is the place that has been causing troubles for us''
One of them, still studying the surroundings had doubts, "It seems... lacking. Are we certain they pose a threat?"
The leader fixed a stern gaze on his fellow comrade.
"Appearances can be deceiving. They might seem weak, but make no mistake, they had been killing our followers''
As they prepared to unleash their chaotic forces upon the sect, a commanding voice echoed through the air, interrupting their goal.
Daniel, standing with an imposing presence with his hand on his back, questioned, "Who dares to disrupt the haven that I have created?"
''Hmpf! A mere ant like you shouldn't have the right to know our identity'' The leader of the group declared with a domineering attitude.
He couldn't sense Daniel's cultivation and despite knowing that he was floating in the air, he assumed that he had a low cultivation base.
''But even if you are an ant, the least grace we could grant you before you die is our identity'' The Leader said with a smug look.
''We are the 10 Saints of Kaos that follow our Lord, Kaos and we're here to destroy the Heavenly Harem Sect'' The Leader explained.
''Oh? Destroy the sect you say?'' Daniel was amused with their words and despite their threat, he was just smiling and playing along with their intentions.
The leader of the Saints of Kaos, a man exuding an ominous aura, stepped forward.
"Whoever you are, call out the bastard master of this sect, otherwise don't think about leaving this place alive'' The Leader threatened.
Daniel, with a calm demeanour, observed the intruders.
''If you seek conflict, you'll find more than you bargained for."
The leader scoffed, "Hmpf! Trying to pretend thought aren't you? Then we'll see which one of us is tougher!'' He declared.
In the blink of an eye, Daniel's disciples materialized beside him like shooting stars, their presence illuminating the surroundings.
Cecilia, Elizabeth, Fresia, Megan, Crista, Daisy, Kira, Eva, Leshia, and Petra stood with their eyes fixated on the ten menacing intruders.
''Master, we're here!'' All of them declared with unison and they had sensed their presence earlier on.
Cecilia, with her eyes ablaze, spoke with authority, "Trespassers, your presence is not welcomed."
The leader of the intruders sneered, "Not welcomed you say? A gathering of weaklings, it seems''
''We are the Saints of Kaos, followers of the great Kaos, and we are here to cleanse this land of your corrupted influence."
Elizabeth, her gaze piercing through the shadows of her hood, retorted, "You underestimate us''
''The Heavenly Harem Sect is no ordinary power. Your presence here is nothing to our master, and we won't allow any harm to befall our sect."
Fresia, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, added, "Oh, how amusing. Saints of Kaos, you say? Let me show you the chaotic dance of power that we wield."
The Saints of Kaos, unimpressed, chuckled among themselves. One of them scoffed, "We've dealt with countless sects, and none have stood a chance against the might of Kaos''
In response, Megan, her eyes aglow with elemental energy, warned, "You speak boldly for intruders. Our master's power surpasses your understanding. If you persist, you shall face the consequences."
''So...you're the master?'' The leader gazed at Daniel with a disappointed gaze.
''So what if I am?'' Daniel taunted.
''Hmpf! Then, prepare to die!'' The Leader declared.
The leader of the Saints of Kaos rushed forward with astonishing speed, his black robes billowing behind him like a dark shadow.
His hand extended, aiming for Daniel's chest with the intent to strike a fatal blow.
The other nine Saints watched with an expectant gaze as the leader's attack connected or so it seemed.
To everyone's surprise, including the assailant, the strike had no effect.
There was no impact, no damage. It was as if the leader's hand had phased through Daniel's body.
A look of disbelief crossed the leader's face, and he staggered back, holding his hand in confusion.
"Impossible!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with disbelief.
The other nine Saints were equally taken aback, exchanging bewildered glances among themselves.
Cecilia, Daniel's loyal disciple, smirked confidently.
"Did you really think you could harm our master with such feeble attacks? The world itself bows to his will."
Elizabeth added, "The laws of this land recognize only one authority, and that is the Heavenly Harem Sect. Your attempts at aggression are futile."
Fresia, with a playful grin, mocked, "Seems like the chaotic forces you so proudly represent are powerless here. Your great Kaos is nothing before the might of our master."
The leader, recovering from his surprise, gritted his teeth. "Don't underestimate us! Don't be conceited just because my attack failed!''
The leader of the Saints of Kaos, unable to accept the failure of his previous attack, resorted to drawing a sword.
The blade emanated a chilling presence, carrying both Sword Intent and the cultivation manual, Deprivation the Dark.
This manual was known for its sinister techniques that aimed to envelop the opponent in darkness, draining their strength and resolve.
As the leader slashed at Daniel, the void cracked, and the sky darkened, reflecting the ominous power contained within the strike.
The leader, a formidable cultivator at the 9th stage of Saint King, poured all his energy into the attack, seeking to pierce through any defence.
However, Daniel met the strike with casual ease, catching the blade with his bare hand.
The clash resonated through the void, creating ripples that distorted the surrounding space.
The leader's eyes widened in disbelief as he felt the resistance from Daniel's hand.
With a disappointed gaze, Daniel spoke mockingly, "Is this it? Is this all you have, Saint of Kaos?"
His words echoed with a sense of disdain, challenging the very essence of the leader's prowess.
Simultaneously, the other Saints of Kaos stood frozen, their faces registering shock and disbelief.
Witnessing their leader's formidable strike effortlessly neutralized shattered their preconceived notions about the invincibility of their chaotic powers.
The leader, now facing Daniel's unyielding gaze, realized the vast difference in their strengths.
Despite wielding a powerful cultivation manual and possessing high-level Saint King cultivation, he found himself at the mercy of an existence beyond his comprehension.
The leader of the Saints of Kaos, frustration and disbelief evident in his eyes, roared,
"Impossible! How can a mere mortal withstand the power of Kaos?"
Daniel, maintaining his calm demeanour, responded, "Your Kaos is nothing but a joke."
One of them, a fanatic with wild eyes, shouted, "Our master bestowed upon us the power to bring chaos to the realms! We won't be stopped by a group of weaklings!"
Fresia, her eyes glinting with mischief, retorted, "Weaklings? How about you try to see which one of ourselves is the weak one?''
''Then we shall see that to the end!'' The Leader declared and without wasting any more time, the battle between 2 sides had begun.
