Harry Potter: Westeros’s Plant Life -
0131 The Gemstone
Adrian caressed the blue gemstone glowing with ethereal blue light in his hand.
Though he wasn't clear about its specific purpose, from the Tree of Wisdom's description "Crystallization of Wisdom," he could tell this was definitely no ordinary item.
After returning to his office, Adrian immediately went through the portal to the plantation and retrieved Ravenclaw's diadem.
"Eldra."
[Name: Ravenclaw's Diadem]
[Description: Wear it, and you shall gain wisdom.]
With the Tree of Wisdom's confirmation, Adrian nodded.
Indeed, after delivering the letter to the Grey Lady, the obsession on Ravenclaw's diadem had disappeared.
Now, the diadem had restored its original function.
Adrian took a deep breath and eagerly put on Ravenclaw's diadem.
A cool sensation spread from where the diadem touched his forehead, and Adrian felt as if something had entered his brain.
His mind suddenly became extraordinarily clear—this feeling was similar to drinking Baruffio's Brain Elixir and Wit-Sharpening Potion.
"I see..."
Adrian unconsciously murmured.
He discovered he could simultaneously think about three completely different things—yesterday's potion formulas, this morning's Daily Prophet content, and next week's lesson plans.
All three coexisted in his mind without interfering with each other.
More amazingly, when he recalled those deep and obscure magical theories he'd once read, concepts that had once given him headaches suddenly became simple and clear.
This must be the diadem's function—greatly enhancing his thinking ability.
After experiencing Ravenclaw's diadem's miraculous power for a while, Adrian removed it from his head.
A wave of intense dizziness immediately struck, and Adrian felt the scene before his eyes distort and blur like stirred water.
His once-clear thinking became muddled, like a car traveling at high speed suddenly hitting the brakes.
"Ugh..." For a moment, Adrian couldn't even adapt. His hand immediately reached for the diadem again, wanting to put it back on his head.
However, just as the diadem was about to be worn again, Adrian immediately stopped his action.
"Wait!" He placed the diadem on the nearby table, fine beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "Something's wrong."
Adrian supported himself against the table and slowly sat down, feeling the discomfort of his thoughts falling from the clouds back to earth.
He had realized that the diadem was a terrible thing—or rather, wisdom was a terrible thing.
Just like potion addicts craving more drugs, once someone used the diadem, this feeling would be permanently etched in the user's mind.
This was definitely not a good outcome.
After putting the diadem back in storage, Adrian breathed a slight sigh of relief.
When the time was right, he would return this diadem to Hogwarts.
After securing the diadem, Adrian turned to studying the blue gemstone.
He still didn't know what this gemstone could do.
Just then, information from the Tree of Wisdom appeared in his mind.
[Could you give me this gemstone, sir?]
"No problem."
The Tree of Wisdom lately seemed increasingly human-like, occasionally communicating with Adrian like this.
If the Tree of Wisdom needed this gemstone, Adrian naturally wouldn't be stingy.
Carrying Ravenclaw's gemstone, Adrian walked to the Tree of Wisdom.
He gently placed the gemstone on the tree's trunk.
The moment the gemstone touched the bark, it was immediately wrapped by countless tiny, ethereal rootlets.
Suddenly, the Tree of Wisdom began glowing with golden light.
The entire tree seemed bathed in sunset, sparkling brilliantly.
[Please wait, sir...]
Just then, a message entered Adrian's mind, reassuring him somewhat.
Moments later, the golden light gradually dimmed and finally extinguished completely.
Adrian looked expectantly at the Tree of Wisdom's current state.
However... there seemed to be no difference at all?
"Eldra?"
Adrian cautiously communicated.
Finally, the Tree of Wisdom's information came through.
[Name: Eldra (Tree of Wisdom)]
[Species: Oak]
[Level: 5]
[Traits: Entity Analysis, Soul Connection, Soul Purification, Energy Amplification, Ravenclaw's Wisdom]
[Status: Growing (0%)]
After absorbing Ravenclaw's gemstone, the Tree of Wisdom directly advanced one level and gained a new trait: "Ravenclaw's Wisdom."
'So, what exactly did this "Ravenclaw's Wisdom" do?'
Adrian lightly touched the trunk with his finger.
At that moment, the scene before his eyes suddenly changed.
His consciousness seemed pulled into a pure white space suffused with gentle silver light.
In the center of this strange space stood an elegant silvery-white figure.
It appeared to be a woman in old-fashioned wizard robes, radiating white light. Though her features were indistinct, her bearing suggested this was Rowena Ravenclaw.
As Adrian stood there puzzled, the Tree of Wisdom's explanation appeared in his mind.
[This is Rowena Ravenclaw's knowledge imprint. If there's something you want to know, why not ask her?]
I see, Adrian understood the Tree of Wisdom's meaning. This Rowena Ravenclaw avatar was equivalent to an encyclopedia.
Adrian tentatively asked her, "If someone created many Horcruxes, how should I find those Horcruxes?"
Just as Adrian expected Ravenclaw's avatar to answer his question verbally, she slowly extended her hand.
White light began gathering in her palm, and soon a white-covered book appeared in her hand.
Then she slowly walked to Adrian and handed him the book.
Adrian confusedly accepted the book from her hands.
Afterward, Adrian's vision flashed.
When he came to his senses, he found himself back in the real world, having left that strange space.
However, the book he'd received from Ravenclaw still existed in his hands.
He wondered what Ravenclaw's response would be...
With curiosity, Adrian opened the book.
After reading for a while, Adrian discovered it contained an ancient magic for tracking souls.
It read:
If you wish to track someone's soul, you need the following: a strand of the target's hair or personal belongings, a living creature connected to the target, a compass, and a wizard with ancient magic talent.
Specific ritual method: ....
This must be the Tree of Wisdom's new ability.
Adrian tested it several more times afterward and found that Ravenclaw's avatar could answer most questions.
Unfortunately, it seemed she could only answer one question at a time—meaning only one book could exist at the same time.
