"I have to go to the office every day and train my fellow Guides," Yuno explained despite Ki Gayoon’s silent protest. "But don’t worry too much. They won’t harm me because they need my ability."

Ki Gayoon let out a sigh.

Yuno then clenched his hands, waiting for the Esper’s decision.

I mean, I’ll still do what I want. But out of respect for the person who’s trying to keep me alive, I should at least do this much for him.

"Alright, do that."

Yuno looked up at Ki Gayoon, a bit shocked that he gave him permission to work at the Bureau every day without throwing a tantrum. "Really, Hyung?"

"Well, princesses don’t need permission from their servants to do what they want, do they?"

"Is Hyung my servant?"

"I sometimes feel like I’m a butler trying to keep my cat— who’s actively trying to kill himself— alive," Ki Gayoon said, sighing while shaking his head. "I prefer dogs over cats, so I wonder how I ended up with you."

Now that was confusing.

But, at least, I got Hyung’s permission.

Ki Gayoon then looked at Yuno’s somewhat lost expression, and then he sighed again. "And you have no idea what you’re doing to me, Noh Yuno."

"What am I doing to Hyung?"

"You wouldn’t understand."

"I wouldn’t if you don’t tell me anything."

"Never mind," Ki Gayoon said, sighing again. "We’ll continue sleeping together until the serial killer is caught, and I’ll drive you to work every day— but I won’t be receiving Guiding from you the entire time."

"What?" Yuno asked, surprised. "Hyung won’t receive Guiding from me?"

But why?
