SLICED raw fish.

Fried and steamed fishcakes.

And other cooked seafood like octopus stew.

Yuno was full after having several plates of sliced raw fish.

It’s like a buffet since the food keeps coming.

They weren’t totally on the beach area now since the chef and waiting staff would come and serve them more food from time to time.

But Yuno liked the dessert best.

It was honeycomb ice cream. Just like its name suggested, it was ice cream topped with an actual honeycomb.

"This is good," Yuno said while nodding approvingly. "We already have soft serve ice cream in our HoneyMoon Convenience Store. I’ll ask Sajangnim if we can add an actual honeycomb to it to attract more customers."

Ki Gayoon, who chose coffee for his "dessert," scoffed. "Why would an adult store need to serve ice cream for its customers?"

"Ahjuhyung, we’re a convenience store and not an adult store."

"Are minors and children allowed in your store then?"

"..."

"See?" Ki Gayoon smirked smugly. "Stop deluding yourself into thinking that HoneyMoon is a convenience store. As far as Espers and Guides are concerned, your store is an adult shop."

It was a reality that Yuno refused to acknowledge.

We’re really just a convenience store that happens to sell adult stuff. But that doesn’t make us an adult shop.

Well, Yuno had nothing against adult shops.

But if that person finds out I’m working part-time at an adult shop, he’ll laugh at my face because of something I said when I was young and dumb.

That was the only reason Yuno was being stubborn about it.

Hence, Yuno just quickly changed the topic. "Hyung, you know what Guide Bambi-ssi is doing, don’t you?"

"That person is doing a lot of sketchy things, so you have to be specific."

"Guide Bambi-ssi handpicked the exclusive Guides of the current Top 5, excluding Hyung. He’s using the Top 5 Guides to put a leash on the Top 5 Espers. Sajangnim and I suspect that Guide Bambi-ssi put something in the Top 5 Guides’ body to make their "scent" more addicting to the Espers."

Ki Gayoon nodded. "Right. Naturally awakened S-Class Espers like us shouldn’t be affected by a Guide’s ability that much. Ryu Sungbin, Lee Sarang, and Jin Sooin’s dependency on their exclusive Guides isn’t normal."

"You didn’t mention Esper Matthew-ssi."

"Matthew’s first exclusive Guide died. As far as I know, that person is the only Guide he acknowledges even now."

Is that why Esper Matthew-ssi is so cruel towards Kim Jaeha?

Yuno expected Ki Gayoon to snap and act grumpy again.

"So, you caused all those fights on purpose?"

"No. Everything was caused by my recklessness."

"You troublemaker."

"I know," Yuno said, sighing. "Anyway, our actual plan is simple: I just needed to reveal my real abilities as an E-Class Guide. I needed to "shine" so bright that the only thing the government and the National Guide Bureau could see was me. And while everyone is focused on me, that’s when Sajangnim is supposed to do his job stealthily."

"That doesn’t sound like a good plan to me."

"Well, it’s working. Now I have Guide Bambi-ssi and the entire Bureau’s eyes on me. They won’t pay that much attention to Sajangnim."

Ki Gayoon fell silent for a moment before finally speaking again. "You have a high matching rate with all naturally awakened S-Class Espers in the country. So, why did Chief Kim Munhee let you go without locking you up in the Bureau?"

"My ability sounds like I’m very useful, doesn’t it?"

"Of course. The Top 5 Espers’ exclusive Guides aren’t immortal. So, if one of those Guides dies, I’m sure the Bureau will use you as their replacement."

"Except I’m like a candle— the more you use me, the more I melt."

"I don’t understand."

Yuno extended his hand to Ki Gayoon. "Hold my hand, Hyung."

Ki Gayoon held Yuno’s hand without questions.

Let’s make this short and quick.

Yuno, without further ado, sent a tiny piece of his life force to Ki Gayoon.

And it worked immediately judging by how the older man’s face instantly beamed.

Not only that.

Hyung’s Mana just became purer as if it wasn’t already very pure after we had sex.

"Wow. What did you do?" Ki Gayoon said, looking refreshed and glowing. "Noh Yuno, that felt amazing..."

Ki Gayoon trailed off, his smile disappearing.

BLERGH.

Yuno coughed up a pretty huge chunk of blood.

Damn, my chest hurts like hell.

And he was already feeling faint.

I only gave Hyung a tiny piece of my life force, but I’m already like this.

"Noh Yuno, what’s happening?"

It was surprising to see Ki Gayoon go pale as if he was worried about Yuno.

Ah, probably because Hyung can’t afford to lose the exclusive Guide he barely found.

"This is what happens if I guide all the Top 5 Espers at the same time, Hyung," Yuno explained while wiping the blood off the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand. "Hyung, catch me— I feel like I’m about to faint."

And Yuno did, causing Ki Gayoon to immediately leap into action.

"Yuno-ya!"
