Guide Me If You Dare
Chapter 56: GIVE AND TAKE

Chapter 56: GIVE AND TAKE

MY BUTT hurts.

Yuno threw himself on the bed, his stomach on the mattress, after taking a shower.

He wanted to sit down but his butt hurts after trying to loosen up his hole with his fingers in the shower earlier.

Yes, with ’s’ this time.

At first, he only used one finger. But, this time— and with the help of HoneyMoon Oil, a good lubricant— he was able to insert two fingers in his hole.

I think I’m loosening up well, but it hurts since I can’t find the good spot.

It was funny how he had a high tolerance for pain, but the pain of putting his fingers in his hole almost made him cry.

Is it because my body as a Guide is sensitive to pain and pleasure related to sex?

Yuno then remembered what Ki Gayoon asked him last night.

["Do you need my help?"]

To be honest, he was tempted to say ’yes.’

But I want to explore my body first before Gayoon Hyung does.

Yuno’s train of thought was interrupted when his phone rang.

He picked it up as soon as he saw his boss’ name on the screen.

"Yes, Sajangnim?"

<"Yuyu, I’m sorry. Espers working for the government helped the foreign Espers escape prison, and then they killed them.">

Yuno got up abruptly, surprised. "Is that true, Sajangnim? I just watched the news about the plane crash. I thought they used the plan crash excuse to cover up for Gayoon Hyung’s crime."

After all, the government still needed to maintain its friendly relationship with other countries.

<"You thought Yoonyoon killed those bastards for you, Yuyu?">

That was Yuno’s first thought when he heard the breaking news, but hearing it from Moon Noa made him feel embarrassed.

<"Is it love?">

"Sajangnim, you know you’re not funny, right?"

<"Now you’re hurting my feelings, Yuyu.">

"I’m sorry, sir."

Moon Noa laughed, indicating that his boss was just pulling his leg.

<"It wasn’t really Yoonyoon. I had people keep an eye on those foreigners because I knew the government would make a move. According to my people, the government Espers already killed the Espers before they put them on the plane.">

Wow.

That was pretty shocking.

"Won’t our country get in trouble then? It won’t be hard for a country like the U.S. to launch an investigation regarding the "accident." They will find out the truth then."

<"This is just my hunch, but I believe the U.S. government itself wanted those Espers gone. I’m not sure if you already know, but those two Espers were so problematic that their own government wanted to get rid of them. That was why they sent those two when President Cheol Kang reached out to the U.S. government for a collaboration project.">

Oh, that actually made sense.

"I thought our own government killed those scumbags because they wanted to frame Gayoon Hyung for it," Yuno said. "After all, Gayoon Hyung and I had a reason to kill them."

<"We’ll see about that. If the media start to release articles hinting that the "accident" may not really be an accident by reminding people that those scumbags cross Yoonyoon, then it’s safe to assume that it’s their plan to frame Yoonyoon for the tragic incident. But if the U.S. government concludes their investigation and claims it was really an accident, then we can assume that my hunch is right.">

"So, all we need to do right now is to wait."

<"Yep, exactly. I’ll call you again later. Take care, Yuyu.">

"You, too, Sajangnim," Yuno said politely. "See you soon."

"WHAT DO you want for lunch, Noh Yuno?"

Hmm?

Yuno, who had just finished sending an email to Writer Youngji, looked up from his laptop. "Where have you been, Hyung?"

After getting dressed, he went out of the living room.

But Ki Gayoon was nowhere to be found.

That was why Yuno just pulled out his laptop from his Inventory and did some work in the living room.

While waiting for Hyung.

"I just had a quick meeting with my legal team at the room below our suite," Ki Gayoon said. "The APD contacted us to let us know about the death of the Espers you sued."

"Hyung, are they suspecting you of killing those scumbags?"

"No," Ki Gayoon said, sitting on the chair across from him. "I expected that, but the APD didn’t even question where I was last night. It’s as if they can’t wait to wrap this up."

"Then Sajangnim might be right. My boss suspects that the U.S. government wanted those scumbags dead."

"That seems to be the case because, according to my legal team, the U.S. Embassy will soon release the result of their team’s investigation regarding the "accident." The fact that they’re not bothering me can only mean that they’re not trying to frame me. The U.S. government just probably wants to get rid of those bastards, so they used this incident to do so."

Oh.

So, Sajangnim’s hunch is right.

Yuno’s face flushed when he remembered his embarrassing assumption. "I’m sorry, Hyung."

Ki Gayoon knitted his eyebrows as if he wasn’t happy with Yuno’s apology. "Why the fuck are you suddenly apologizing to me?"

"Because I was arrogant and delusional. Worse, I didn’t even notice it," Yuno said, feeling ashamed of himself at the moment. "I just naturally assumed that you’d kill those scumbags for me."

"Were you "arrogant" and "delusional" because you thought I cared about you on a personal level?"

"It’s because Hyung kept saying you’d rather kill them than put them behind bars. You’re a natural S-Class Esper while those scumbags were just mid, so I knew you could kill them if you wanted to."

"That doesn’t answer my question, punk."

Tsk.

Hyung is stupidly quick-witted when it comes to picking on me.

"It’s not like I think Hyung cares about me on a personal level— my arrogance as your Guide is to blame for this," Yuno admitted, slightly embarrassed. But it would be more embarrassing to lie again, so he decided to just come clean. "I guess you can say my head got big because I know Hyung won’t let me die or get harmed. After all, I’m the only one who can guide you properly."

"Pfft."

Yuno felt more embarrassed when Ki Gayoon stifled his laughter. "I know, Hyung. I know. But I never hid the fact that I’m going to abuse your power."

"Right. And you don’t have to feel embarrassed," Ki Gayoon said. "We have a give-and-take relationship. You’re my Guide, so it’s my responsibility to keep you safe and satisfied with the life I provide for you."

"You just have to worry about my safety, Hyung. No need to worry about whether I’m satisfied or not with my life."

"I’d love to do that, but you’re the most nonchalant chatterer I know. You can’t stand injustice, and you’re not afraid to speak your mind if you feel wronged. I will never know peace again if I’m not careful."

Did Hyung just call me a nonchalant yapper?

Yuno felt wronged, but he couldn’t refute it.

Yeah, I’m a snitch and a yapper most of the time.

"But remember this, Noh Yuno: if you’re going to use me in any way, then you better prepare your body as a reward for my hard work," Ki Gayoon said, raising an eyebrow. "I don’t do charity."

"I know that. And that’s why I’m preparing well," Yuno said. "But we should take a break."

Ki Gayoon frowned, obviously dissatisfied. "Why?"

"Hyung, you should know that you’re in perfect condition now just after spending two nights with me."

All they did was kiss and touch each other.

But the fact that they both reached their climax several times already proved to be an effective Guiding Session.

Because, right now, Ki Gayoon’s Mana was unparalleled.

"That’s true. My body is in the best condition it has been for the past few years, and my mind has never been clearer than this," Ki Gayoon said while nodding. "But I want more."

"Don’t be greedy, Hyung— you’ll die if you receive any more Guiding from me," Yuno said while shaking his head. "You have to exhaust the excess Mana stored in your Core first. Why don’t you enter a dungeon or something?"

"I need to do that anyway even without you reminding me."

"Really?"

"Now that I’m a part of the Top 5 again, I have no choice but to enter dungeons to keep my status," Ki Gayoon explained. "And I need to keep my status so that no one can bully you again."

Hmm?

Yuno didn’t want to admit this, but he was pretty moved by Ki Gayoon’s sacrifice.

Gayoon Hyung fought hard just to be freed from the government’s clutches, and yet I brought him back to the place that he hated the most in the world. If I didn’t act petty, then Hyung wouldn’t have had to fight in my place.

So, Yuno couldn’t help but gain a newfound respect for Ki Gayoon.

Hyung is far from a saint, but he’s not bad.

"Are you feeling guilty, Noh Yuno?"

"I can’t help it, Hyung."

"Don’t be," Ki Gayoon said casually. "Didn’t I tell you that I made a deal with Moon Noa? He didn’t accept money as payment for your contract that I bought. Instead, he asked me to protect you. And reclaiming my place in the Top 5 is the first thing I had to do anyway to do that. I can’t protect you properly if I don’t have influence in the Awakened World anymore."

"Hyung isn’t just saying that to make me feel better, right?"

"Of course not."

"I feel spoiled," Yuno said bluntly. "I really feel like a sugar baby right now."

"I’ll kill you if you call me ’daddy,’ punk."

"’Ahjudad’ then?"

"Yah."

Yuno smiled and changed the topic. "Hyung, I like their New York Cheesecake here."

"Then let’s order it," Ki Gayoon said, getting up and walking towards the phone to probably call room service. "What else do you want to eat?"

See?

Hyung, you’re so sugar daddy-coded whether you want to admit it or not.
