Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire
Chapter 63 Word Spirit: Tyrant

Chapter 63: Chapter 63 Word Spirit: Tyrant

Noah slowly opened his eyes, the dark golden dragon pupils tinged with purple exuded an air of nobility and grace far surpassing that of his fellow Golden Dragons, along with an authority beyond his current age.

The third Word Spirit was now imprinted upon his Dragon Soul, transforming into an innate Talent Authority more profound than life instincts.

Word Spirit: Tyrant

Its effects were completely different from the two Word Spirits he had previously acquired, Six Paths of Light Binding and Nine Luminaries Star Palace; they were not of the same type at all.

"I still need a reference to test its specific effects."

The diligent Great Fairy butler was naturally not considered, as Noah had made a promise. A promise from a Golden Dragon is as weighty as ten thousand gold pieces.

Thus, the Golden Dragon came to the outside of the Dragon Nest, and although it was only for the duration of a nap, the Cloud Giant tribe had already somewhat settled.

Some of the Giants had donned armor, wielding weapons gleaming with Magic Radiance, patrolling around the Dragon Nest, fulfilling their contractual duties.

"Your Highness Noah!"

As Noah appeared, Angus, the Cloud Giant most familiar to the Golden Dragon, led two other Cloud Giants to pay their respects.

"Is this your Griffin? It seems quite spirited today."

Noah’s gaze turned to the two Golden Feathered Griffins beside the Giant. Compared to their initial listlessness and timidity, these Magic Beasts now looked much more majestic, matching their reputed image.

Screee—

Faced with the Golden Dragon’s gaze, these low-flying Magic Beasts showed no fear; one even issued a somewhat provocative screech towards the Golden Dragon.

Noah, currently over eleven meters as a young dragon, had surpassed the fledgling standard and barely entered the realm of a juvenile Golden Dragon. However, he clearly did not possess the deterrence against such beasts.

This is normal; all Dragon Species must go through this awkward phase. Compared to the Metallic Dragon Race, often protected by parents or Guardians, the Colorful Dragon Clan, with a significant chance of ending up in the wild, might even face boar charges and beast fights, which is even more embarrassing.

"Your Highness, you..."

Angus’ face changed drastically, attempting to speak, only to see the Golden Dragon slightly shift its gaze towards the Griffin daring to howl at him.

As a purple aura fluctuated, the ferocious beast, head to tail over eight meters, let out a mournful wail as if struck by an invisible giant hammer, plummeting from the air to the flower bed.

The blood-stained golden feathers fluttered in the air, and the previously arrogant Griffin, daring to roar at a True Dragon, was now feebly bowing, its broad wings laid limp beside its body as if crushed by invisible giant force.

"Please calm your anger, I did not train this beast well."

Angus half-knelt on the ground, hearing the endless wailing of the Griffin, gritted his teeth, and drew a short knife from his waist, revealing a murderous aura,

"I am willing to offer its life in exchange for your forgiveness."

"There’s no need for that, after all, it’s meant for the battlefield. Keeping some wildness is necessary."

Noah then moved his gaze away, the power that asserted dominance over an adult Griffin and rendered it immobilized finally dissipated.

At this point, the other Griffin looked at Noah with pure fear and trepidation. Although Griffins are not considered a Wisdom Race, their intelligence is not low, capable of understanding complex verbal commands.

But it wasn’t just the Griffins; even the Giants now looked at the young dragon differently. None could discern how this force had descended.

Unknown breeds fear, thus generating awe.

The Golden Dragon, nurtured with Titan Bloodline, was indeed different from the Golden Dragons they had known. The Giants realized this profoundly.

"But you must teach them whom to howl at and show their claws."

"Yes, this was my dereliction, but I assure you it will not happen again."

Angus promised earnestly.

"I hope so."

Noah’s gaze shifted to the second Griffin, which immediately dropped to the ground in panic, unwilling to fly in the sky. This reaction was mirrored by the Griffins brought by the other two Giants, who urgently landed on the grass.

"Stand down, do not block my view."

As usual, Noah laid lazily on the flower bridge of green vines, overlooking the city below.

"Understood!"

Angus replied respectfully, reaching down to pick up the Griffin immobilized by Noah’s gaze, hoisting it onto his shoulder, as blood dripped continuously.

At this moment, the Griffin’s demeanor had reverted to its initial listlessness, with eyes full of fear and reverence, too scared to glance at Noah again.

"How useful it is!"

Having found a suitable target and experienced the effects of the Word Spirit: Tyrant in practical use, Noah was very satisfied, the only flaw being that the consumption it brought matched its formidable effects.

But this is his shortcoming, not the Word Spirit’s.

"Ignoring the opponent’s will, exerting dual pressure from mind to flesh, Tyrant truly lives up to its name."

Noah, slowly regaining his strength, pondered over this Word Spirit; its effects were self-evident. An adult Griffin would make even a juvenile Golden Dragon pause.

But with him, it was just a matter of a glance. Of course, for this glance’s deterrence, his consumption was considerably dire, a few more tries and he’d be exhausted.

But it’s worth it, as Noah noticed the change in the gaze of those Cloud Giants towards him, the disdain due to his age would now be significantly lessened.

"Sifreya, how long did I sleep this time?"

When his strength was almost restored, Noah’s attention shifted outward, noticing the changes in the city below, the pervasive festive atmosphere clearly visible even from the mountain.

"Nearly twenty days."

The Great Fairy flew over. She frequently traveled between the Dragon Nest atop the mountain and the Duke Mansion below, her Magic Power growing thicker due to caring for her adoptive mother’s Magic Potion Garden.

Though still petite in size, she had grown noticeably larger, standing as tall as a human’s arm, and the range of Elements she could stir with each movement had become hard to overlook.

Glory Gold

By the standards of the Wisdom Species, she ranked alongside Ted, and the time it took her to evolve to ascend to Gold was just around a year.

Such talent, placed on a short-lived species, would be seen as extraordinary genius. However, among fairy-like beings, it was not remarkable, primarily due to Selena’s Magic Potion Garden.

Nevertheless, the Great Fairy’s growth stops here, unless Noah discovers a Secret Realm filled with Magic Potions, Sifreya could not advance like the past year.

"How long until Tidel’s wedding?"

Noah looked the Great Fairy up and down, then asked.

"Less than half a month, preparations have been underway for a while; will you go down to have a look?"

"I’ll go down when the bride arrives in town."
