Chapter 294: Chapter 195: Hell’s Son Beating up Everyone
"Giant? Bone Demon?"
When they saw the bone-armored giant shrouded in demonic qi, with large patches of crimson flesh exposed, a great uproar erupted inside and outside the main gate of Asasel’s capital, spreading terror and panic among the crowd preparing to welcome the Silver Moon Princess.
"Fools!"
Noticing the commotion behind him, the giantified Hulk snorted two streams of hot air from his nostrils. After all, he had helped some of these people, yet this was the reaction he got when he showed his true form.
Who wouldn’t love flowers and applause? Who doesn’t want to be treated like a hero? In the end, he was just a twenty-something young man with a sense of justice and a passionate heart.
Sadly, the bloodline he was born with meant that no matter how hard he tried or how much he helped others, he was always bound to receive such responses when he revealed his true visage.
"Are devils imitating chivalric spirit now? Or are you plotting some conspiracy?"
The scattered members of the Silver Moon Knight Order encountered devils or Hell’s followers often in these lands, so it wasn’t an unusual event.
"Conspiracy? I’m not a devil, nor do I plot such things. I just heard of the Silver Moon Knight Order’s reputation and wanted to challenge the noble Your Highness. So, according to your rules, which of you will come first?"
The provocative words naturally provoked the gathering of prodigies, and no sooner had he spoken than a Half-Elf Knight spurred his Horned Eagle Beast into battle with Hulk.
"I’ll do it!"
"Wait a moment!"
Just as the battle was about to begin, Parvati stepped out, meeting the puzzled gazes directed at her, looking only at the fierce and violent giant before her.
"Are you a member of the Judgement Knight Order? A subordinate of Wayne? Is this challenge his command?"
"No, this is my own decision."
Looking down at the girl no bigger than his big toe, Hulk silently considered for a while before responding in a gruff voice.
"Then you’ve admitted being a member of the Judgement Knight Order."
Parvati nodded slightly, raised her hand, and a spell of radiance burst forth. The spell was too fast and non-threatening, leaving Hulk unable to react.
When he realized he was hit, he noticed a layer of gray light enveloping him, with strands of pure white light intermittently seeping through, conspicuously eye-catching.
Judging Evil
This was a non-destructive identification spell used to discern good and evil from the perspective of humanoid races. At this moment, the light surrounding Hulk caused a stir.
The commotion wasn’t from the panicked common folk but from the members of the Silver Moon Knight Order and many who understood the spell.
"How is it possible? Such an evil aura, yet it shows white light."
"The rumors are true; they are justice-seeking Tifflin!"
Nobody questioned the authenticity of the light because the spell was cast by Parvati herself; they simply found the outcome incredible.
Though the gray light dominated the giant, the white glows were hard to ignore. Gray was typical, but the presence of white light was nothing short of miraculous.
"Regardless of whether you’re a justice-seeking Tifflin, since you challenged the Silver Moon Knight Order, you should be ready to face failure."
The Half-Elf Knight who accepted the challenge was equally surprised, but the young prodigy paid little mind to the outcome because he bore the same light.
"The one who should prepare for failure is you!"
The bone-armored giant swung a punch, its fist visibly transforming into a charging beast across the mountains, yet the Half-Elf Knight, armed with a spear atop his Horned Eagle Beast, neither evaded nor retreated. As the beast cried out, he shattered the fist’s light, dispersing it into a whirlwind expanding in all directions.
The battle erupted instantly outside the city of Asasel. Although the combatants were of disproportionate size, the Half-Elf, with his mount’s support, maintained aerial superiority, giving him a considerable advantage despite his smaller frame.
Beyond that, the Half-Elf had substantial outside advantages, yet once the battle commenced, the Silver Moon Knight Order’s members tacitly gave way, not intending to intervene.
Not just that, they also stopped the troops dispatched by the officials and nobles from Asasel’s city from interfering.
"Why aren’t we allowed to capture when a devil finally appears?"
"This has to be a genius’ pride, or perhaps a knight’s honor?"
The noble guard leader lamented helplessly.
Still, he secretly rejoiced; at least, they didn’t have to fight the terrifying giant personally. That devil-turned-giant moved mountains and shook the earth with effortless might.
"How do evil devils have honor? Why discuss fairness and justice with them? These prodigies are too naive."
As this was uttered, several cold glances fell upon the city defense captain, silencing him immediately.
"Say less, these figures are beyond offending. Any one of them could keep you watching a mine for life."
"Yeah, it’s great just to watch the show without stepping in!"
Those hired to do the nominal work, rather than risking their lives, simply voiced token protests. Soon, the aristocrats and officials’ dispatch quietly backed down.
