Chapter 44 - 44: Expurgation 1

The scene radiated a chilling and murderous aura as the group of over five thousand enemies stared up at Patrick. Among the group, a tall, stout creature of a human male slowly began walking from the center and towards the front.

As the huge man walked, booming sounds reverberated throughout the ruins, indicating his size and domineering stature.

"So, you are the guy we had to muster an entire league of AAA and S-ranks for, huh?" Ptiu! The massive creature of a man spat disdainfully as he walked and stood in front. "Seeing as they said you were our utmost priority; I'd expected you to be some powerful SS rank or even an SSS rank. But it looks like you are just an exaggerated disappointment.

Why don't you come down here and spare us the bullshit? That way I can grant you mercy by squashing your skull with my bare hands."

As the burly man spoke, he ground his fist on his palm with a grin, as if taunting his prey.

In the private chamber, Patrick and Athena calmly walked to the glass window as they stared at the group. Neither party expresses any expression of anger or even acknowledgment of the enemies. Their faces were those of disinterest and utter boredom.

"The Omniverse is a small place, Athena. But there are infinite things to do in it; as Omni beings, it's only emollient and befitting that we roam the omniverse and beyond, all while doing as we please." Patrick said as he began walking, his body walking through the glass wall as if it were nonexistent.

"So, what's your plan then, Trick?" Athena asked as she effortlessly shifted her location next to Patrick. She floated behind him with her hands behind her, her expression intrigued by what he was saying. The couple completely ignored the enemy group as they casually chatted.

Seeing that they were being ignored, the burly leader scoffed disinterestedly as he clenched his fist, his ugly face twitching from rage.

"Since you want to die that badly, let's make it easy for you then. Kill them!"

As commanded by their leader, the group exploded with murderous mana as they launched at Patrick and Athena. Some flew at the couple, while others sent their powerful attacks and weapons. Regardless of the method, the group of five thousand enemies launched countless barrages of attacks at the couple, unaware of their status as gods.

"The plan is to dominate Totality and Beyond," Patrick said as a man with stone-like fists flashed next to him and aimed a punch at his back. But while still contemplating his words, Patrick lazily grabbed the void and moved it to the side, almost as if swiping it, when the stone-like man suddenly found himself standing before the silver-haired Patrick.

Gazing at the AAA-rank man like an insignificant twig, Patrick casually swiped down when the man was suddenly sliced into countless thin pieces like sliced bread. "To dominate every god and character that had ever existed," Patrick continued talking when five other men attacked him simultaneously.

Athena listened to Patrick when a group of three S-rank female enemies instantly flashed and surrounded her. One unleashed a powerful leg kick at Athena's face, while the two others used poison whips and ice abilities.

Despite the three ferocious attacks aimed at her, Athena remained nonreactive, her focus only directed at her husband. The three attacks landed, but rather than producing the expected result, the three female enemies were erased from existence in a zeptosecond, contrary to their predicted results.

The reason for this was none other than Athena's Dress of Infinity. The infinite countering and defensive abilities installed on the dress alone were enough to erase the women before they could even notice their deaths.

Seeing their comrades being erased effortlessly by the couple, the group halted their advances. Within the crowded assassins, a female with cloaking abilities hid in the distance as she said while holding an earpiece, "Target's evaluation is complete; a new evaluation: target is an SS rank, accompanied by another SS rank. Requesting backup."

Patrick and Athena remained disinterested in the assassins as they chatted; he continued, "only for them to realize that they never stood a chance, not even with infinite prep time or absolute plot armor." Patrick said as he took a step forward. Upon his step, clouds of dust rose from the crumbled ruins.

The dust rose in the air as it pulverized over three thousand assassins, leaving two thousand others and the burly creature on the scene.

Everything happened so fast that the burly male creature couldn't even see his comrades dispersing as clouds of dust in the air.

"Huh? Why are only the speedsters that remained?!" A man from among the group said as his body vibrated at a fast speed. He looked at the other remaining speedsters as he shouted, "Let's go; he can't touch us!"

Immediately after, over two thousand flashes could be seen on the scene, with the ground trembling as the thousands of speedsters zoomed at their target.

The speedsters instantly reached Patrick as they launched countless speedy attacks at him, some even vibrating their hands as they aimed for his chest and head. But before any of the S-rank speedsters, flashing at 9,000 mph, could even fully launch their attacks, they found themselves floating without torsos.

Patrick casually walked past the two thousand speedsters as their bodies separated into halves. Blood sprayed all over the scene without a single drop falling on Patrick, despite it raining practically blood. With all the speedsters dead, only the burly man remained.

Patrick steadily walked towards the creature with hands behind him when Athena asked, "Trick if you wish to conquer Totality, why not just take it? After all, you are the Ruler of All and Master of Beyond."

Patrick listened as he approached the creature. Seeing Patrick, the creature, which seemed to be made from a failed scientific experiment, exploded with verdant mana as his S-rank murderous energy blasted throughout the scene, blasting everything that was within a ten-mile radius of him.

But despite the man's overwhelming energy, Patrick remained unaffected and unreactive as he walked and stood next to the man. With Patrick standing next to him, the burly man sought the opportunity as he threw a heavy punch at him, the punch so heavy that it caused the earth to tremble and the man's weight to cause a dent in the ground.

Although the man's stature was massive, his speed wasn't to be underestimated. As an S-rank, his speed still transcended the scope of human imagination and understanding. So coupled with his punch's monstrosity, it was also fast, resembling an eight-ton hammer launched at someone at 600 mph. Yes, that's how devastating the punch was.

But regardless of the monstrosity of the attack, Patrick's reaction remained the same. In contrast, as the punch was about to land on him, he casually deflected the man's arm and tapped his chest simultaneously, causing the man's body to explode into a pool of smithereens. The man's remains instantly splattered on the scene, leaving a massive pulp of remains scattered before Patrick.

"Yes, I am the Master of Beyond and Ruler of All; that's exactly why I'm doing as I wish. Everything in existence can be summarized as a mere bubble in my infinite realm, which in turn can be summarized as a mere glint the size of an atom before me.

So, let's start with Earth 001 and its solar system." Patrick said as his figure began floating in the air, with Athena floating beside him as they walked and faded from the scene, leaving the massive pool of blood and human remains scattered all over the scene.

Up in the atmosphere of Earth 001, Patrick and Athena hovered as they stared at the planet and the billions of lifeforms within it. Patrick held a contemplating expression as he stared at the planet, he then turned as he gazed into the infinite void of space and seven other planets in the solar system as he said.

"Alpha, execute order 786."

Simultaneously on Earth 001, in the rural areas of a third-world country, a young woman was struggling under three men who seemed to be forcing themselves on her.

"Haha, hold her, I'm almost about to enter. Hahaha, you will lose your virginity to me today, you little slut." A man with nasty teeth and crossed eyes said as he hurriedly untightened his belt. The two other men held the young woman, seeming in her early twenties, as they also laughed with their counterparts.

"No! Stop! No! Someone, save me!" The young girl bellowed in horror as she continuously twitched herself, giving the men a hard time.

But despite the young woman's cry, the men remained ignorant as they continued with their degeneracy. The man in between the girl's legs finally succeeded in removing her underwear, his laugh becoming louder with excitement as he came closer to his goal.

"Be calm now; almost there, you are about to be a complete woman, hehe! We are all humans here; no Awakened is coming to save you." The man said this as he started pulling his pants down.

"No! No!" As the girl bellowed no, an unknown object suddenly landed from the sky, the object making a booming sound and causing the earth to tremble, with the noise scaring the three men.

"Huh!? What is that?" One of the men holding the girl's hand said this as he slowly rose and tried to properly inspect the fallen object. But upon approaching the clouds of dust, numerous slicing sounds echoed as the man's head was sliced countless times. The slices were so clean and fast that even after the slicing stopped, the man's head didn't fall apart.

He even turned to his friends, and his eyes widened with dreadfulness.

"Run!" This was the man's last and final words as his head finally scattered apart like pieces of sliced meat.

Seeing their comrade's head chopped into pieces, the other two men reacted instinctively; they screamed with panic as they began running from the scene. The man in between the woman's legs earlier struggled to run as he also tried to raise his pants.

But before any of them could even take a step from their locations, their bodies were shredded instantly, causing a massive explosion of human remains and blood to splatter all over the scene.

The girl also screamed in fright as she covered her face in horror, but she suddenly heard a female voice sounding from the clouds of dust, <+ Do not be afraid, citizen of Earth 001, you are in danger no more. +>

Hearing the female voice, the girl slightly opened her eyes as she saw a woman-like robot standing over her. She momentarily garnered some courage as she asked, "Who are you?"

Looking at the young woman with its soulless eyes, the female robot, with a golden K embedded on its left chest, said, <+ We are Order 786 +>

Simultaneously, in America, a man was being trialed in court. The man was handcuffed as he listened to his charges.

"Not only did you molest the three-year-old girl, but you also went on to murder and eat her body; such acts are beyond evil." The female judge said this as she stared at the smiling man with contempt and disgust.

But while the man was smiling, he suddenly lost his smile as if he had felt something different. The court and every witness in the court watched as the criminal's head suddenly bloated and exploded, causing his remains to scatter all over the court.

One by one, numerous events like this were occurring globally. In some popular nations, celebrities who had been conspired as child predators and alike suddenly died of head explosions or heart attacks. Some by car accidents and whatnot. Some who were even on live TV shows were talking when their heads exploded live on TV news.

In jails and cells in all parts of the world, convicted criminals, murderers, and molesters alike were suddenly falling dead, leaving the guards and their fellow cellmates in shock and disbelief.

"What? Why are all the criminals with murder and rape charges dead? This is quite bizarre.

A guard said this as he reported it to his superiors.

In the atmosphere, Patrick and Athena watched as hundreds of millions of humans died of natural and unnatural causes, it had only been ten seconds since everything began.
