Global Lords: Hundredfold Increments Starting With the Undead -
Chapter 1430 - 1000, The Winery
The sky had already darkened by the time they returned from the Troll district.
They had been busy until now, and it didn't feel like a short span of time.
Just as Fang Hao stepped into the hall, he saw Anjia leading a group of maids, rushing out from the backyard.
Anjia spoke first: "Fang Hao, where did you guys go?"
"The Troll capital city. Why?"
Immediately, Anjia, along with the maids, darted towards him and asked, "What's it like there? Is there anything fun to do?"
The maids also stared at him with wide eyes, filled with anticipation.
Fang Hao thought about it for a moment and realized the Troll district didn't really have anything special to offer.
The environment was terrible, with gutters and piles of discarded bones and flesh littering the streets.
He said, "The environment is bad—dirty and chaotic."
"How could that be? Isn't it the Troll capital city?" Anjia eyed him with skepticism.
"It's true. If you don't believe me, ask Rolana."
Anjia turned to Rolana, seeking confirmation. "Is that true?"
"It's really not great. Even the air carries a faint stench of rot," Rolana confirmed with a nod.
Anjia and the maids lost all interest completely.
Still, Anjia clung to his arm and said, "Tomorrow, we want to go find Little White, okay?"
Feeling the softness against his arm, Fang Hao couldn't help but notice Anjia seemed to have developed further.
He then said, "Fine. Just inform Little White in advance, split into separate groups for travel, and take additional guards along."
"Yay!" The maids cheered, their joy abnormally enthusiastic.
They all then hopped off and left the lord's mansion.
Judging by the direction they went, it seemed they were heading to the amusement park again.
...
As night crept on, he said a few words to wrap things up, then let everyone go their own way.
Although becoming a deity meant he didn't need sleep,
after the battle with the Slaughter God, his mind and body felt somewhat fatigued.
Not to mention that everyone's equipment was damaged to varying degrees and needed to be sent for repairs tomorrow.
In his room, Fang Hao interacted with Eira a few times until she fell asleep from exhaustion. Then, he left the room.
He wandered through the streets and took a stroll around the industrial zone.
Before he realized it, he had arrived at the massive Nightstone, beneath which stood a stone pavilion.
Sitting in the pavilion was a figure—not the Dragon Queen, but Beata dressed in a blue long dress, her silver-white hair falling around her dragon horns.
Her fair skin radiated with a faint luminescence, her delicate oval face exuding the sweetness of a young girl.
Beata looked much more relaxed today, sitting at a table adorned with pastries and a pot of 'Dragon Village Dream.'
"Where's the Dragon Queen?"
Fang Hao approached and sat beside her.
"My mother returned to Mount Dragon Peak. She needs to report to the clan and renegotiate relations with the Trolls," Beata said softly.
By now, the Troll district could nearly be considered part of their territory.
Over the next couple of days, statues of their gods would be erected throughout the Troll district.
It was only a matter of time before Mount Dragon Peak changed their attitude toward the Trolls. The sooner the change, the better for both sides.
That explained why Beata felt emboldened enough to drink in public today. Clearly, the Dragon Queen was away.
"Oh, I had a feeling!"
Beata cast a fleeting glance at him, then shifted to cross her legs, which tightened the fabric of her dress, revealing the curves of her toned hips.
Even through her lightweight sleepwear, the softness and smoothness of her thighs could be discerned.
The youthful face paired with her voluptuous figure made for a strong visual impact.
Despite not being biological mother and daughter, Beata and the Dragon Queen shared similarly exaggerated figures.
Beata took a sip from her wine cup, her lips grazing the rim as she glanced at him again, her voice cautious and slightly bashful. "Why don't you come to see me?"
"What?" Fang Hao froze in place.
What was this about "seeing"? They all lived in the same city; it wasn't as though there was any real distance between them.
Beata's tone carried a hint of complaint as she said, "At Black Wind Castle, for such a long time, you never came to visit me, and my mother has already come several times."
Ah, well...
Fang Hao thought for a moment and immediately understood.
Their Loyalty had already reached 100 points, meaning they trusted each other completely.
This level of trust easily transformed into deeper relationships.
Whether it was dependence or romantic affection, the bond they shared grew more profound, becoming a source of reliance for one another.
Especially since he and Beata had already broken through barriers during their first meeting.
It was only natural that Beata harbored even stronger feelings toward him now.
Still, Fang Hao felt conflicted. He had many companions around him already. In this era, people believed that the strong naturally had the right to more partners and offspring.
Even Anjia's remarks about Orc Clan leaders—that they could have most of the women in their clan—made such matters seem ordinary and acceptable to others.
But… things felt a bit different with Beata.
If she delayed returning any longer, he might as well become her "father."
He worried that when the time came, both Beata and the Dragon Queen might turn against him.
Fang Hao contemplated for a moment and said, "Do you really want me to visit you?"
Beata's eyes widened. "What do you think? We've already shared everything, and you don't think you should come to see me?"
"I have so many people by my side. I'm afraid of slighting you," Fang Hao continued.
Beata picked up her cup again, took another sip, and responded, "I know. I didn't say anything, did I?"
This was her silent consent to his having many companions.
Fang Hao continued, "But… won't it be awkward, especially since you know each other? I'm worried you'll get mad and ignore me then."
Beata frowned and thought for a while. "Are you talking about Millie? I've long been aware of it, haven't I already said nothing?"
Fang Hao was about to say more, but Beata shot him a look that silenced him.
He reflected for a moment—she was a young woman who had spoken so openly and clearly already, and he was still hesitating. It felt like he was being unreasonable.
He shifted closer, sitting directly beside her.
Extending his arm, he embraced her and pulled her into his grasp.
Beata obediently leaned against him and softly said, "I missed you."
"I missed you too. How about I arrange a room for you at the mansion?"
Beata seemed flustered like a startled cat. "No way! What if my mother finds out? She'd stop me from leaving for years!"
"Uh…"
Beata murmured quietly, "You could come to my place, though, and stay out of my mother's sight."
That seemed to be the only solution. He'd have to figure out how it would work later.
Fang Hao said, "Should we go see your room now?"
Beata's fair complexion flushed red as though she'd had a drink.
Still, she nodded gently.
Fang Hao smiled and took her hand, leading her toward the residential district.
...
The next morning.
In front of the lord's mansion, Anjia led ten maids and twenty Nisbits, all dressed for travel, their faces brimming with excitement.
They were headed for the Orc capital city, now easily accessible thanks to the Teleportation Array.
After reminding them to stay safe, the group left, full of energy and vigor.
Not long after, the succubus leader, Yezabeth, approached the mansion at a leisurely pace.
"My lord, you called for me?"
Fang Hao nodded and said, "I'm planning to build a brewery in the city. Where do you think would be the best location?"
